Tonytonex: can you please explain. Will it affect those saving, positively?
If the interest rates cascade down and banks pay appreciable amount of interest on the savings, it might help the Naira to reduce outflow in dollars. People are saving their wealth in other currencies and the dollar is the gateway.
Alexas58: A very nice move to curb inflation and help raise the Naira. Most people would not understand the implications of this, since they don’t understand how the forex market works
It definitely will not raise the value of the Naira. The Naira's case is matter of DD and SS and lack of confidence in the economy. The government has to generate the confidence in the economy before capital flight can stop. Higher DD than SS will create scarcity anyday.
Irresponsible lot! CBN inclusive of the government.

where in the Bible did you find the word Christian written as Xtian? You are definitely following the world patterns
MrBrownJay1: there are much more things that the bible forbid that many yeye xtians gladly do today:
- the bible forbids xtians from wearing clothes made from 2 different garments, yet majority of xtians gladly do it. - the bible forbids xtians from trimming your beard, yet majority of xtian men gladly do it. - the bible forbids xtians from being circumcised, yet majority of xtians gladly do it. - the bible forbids xtians to eat shellfish, yet majority of xtians gladly do it. - the bible forbids xtian women from having any authority (nor teach) over man, yet majority of xtians gladly do it. - the bible forbids xtian women from talking in church, yet majority of xtians gladly do it. - the bible forbids xtians from wearing opposite sex clothing, yet majority of xtians gladly do it.

Nigerianization: With a chopper and a private jet on standby as well as pick up luxury vehicles at every point, nowhere is far for the rich. Dangote went to China one time, spent five hours and left same day.
Tinubu doesn't need special grace for such trips and activities, except he travels long kilometers on Nigerian roads.
Correct. He is not trekking or going about on bumpy roads. I know of rich Bishop who was in two countries in single day!
Don't let those bloodthirsty filthy rag get to you
I love your boldness
But please stay safe
MC oluomo is still alive
An old mafia think not twice
Shettima the right hand devil
Stay safe
Please. Mr Macaroni, be careful. If don't love you as person I love your contributions to Nigeria. The people out here are murderous and dangerous. God keep you safe.
BadRadio: The President has dropped a video tweet in his official twitter handle on Tuesday 9th of August, emphasising on the need for Nigeria to be united despite the struggles.
The fact is that you're not a Nigerian but a Nigerien and you don't qualify to advise Nigerians. Did you remember when you superimposed your religion of war and tribe on everyone?
PALAPALA02: Lalasticlala abeg help move to front page o. Let people follow me and rejoice o. Not a single scratch. I have just been going through NL, and even seeing news of other accidents where the occupants didn’t survive, yet i survived without a single scratch. I rejoice with you but not follow you. You wil uy another and better car.
Ibkhaleel01: Dear Christians, especially the Yoruba Christians, what is the matter you have with Muslims? Honestly, the way some of you are going about religion calls for serious concern. Some of you are fanatically attached to your religion. Yet, you pretend to be moderate and neutral. Wallahi, if Yoruba Muslims should behave the way some Yoruba Christians are behaving, no Christian will ever become governors in Oyo, Osun, Ogun and Lagos States. Those states have higher percentage of Muslims. There was a time in Osun, which is a predominantly Muslim state, had a Christian as governor (Olagunsoye Oyinlola) and a Christian as deputy governor (Erelu Olusola Obada). Did Muslims complain? No! We did not even care about their religion. I remember how happy I was the day Oyinlola won. Are you telling us that we are fools? After all, Awolowo (a Christian) ruled Yorubaland while Akintola (another Christian) was the Premier; no Muslim raised any eyebrow. I don't want to speak much on this issue. God bless Nigeria.
For this your tantrum, you are the biggest disgrace to the Yoruba race. Did Christian not campaigned for Abiola in churches during his foray into elective politics. Yoruba are the most hospitable people not caring about religion. Your stupid assertion that some states have majority moslems will soon be proved to be a lie!
Earlystar698: If i am going to be honest with you ,in my own humble opinion without being sentimental of course, without offending anyone who thinks differently from my own point of view, but also by looking into this matter in distinctive perspective ,i would like to say i have nothing to say.
I am sure if the south should cede, these groups will not be those places. They are simply native of the North, infesting the South because a president who accommodates them is around. And somebody wants to be president after the brought this country to this stage!
Islie: Sani said the terrorist groups are fighting for space in Nigeria.
LadyRosa: " Breaking up is never easy I know but I have to go, knowing me , knowing you is the best I can do!"
"The winner takes it all,the loser has to fall. Its simple and it's plain,WHY SHOULD I COMPLAIN...The game is on again,a lover or a friend......"
"See that girl, watch that scene ,dig in the dancing queen"
" There were something in the air that night, the stars were bright Fernando, and there were shining there for me and you,for liberty Fernando."
"One of us is crying, one of us is lying In a lonely bed Staring at the ceiling Wishing she was somewhere else instead..."
"Don't go wasting your emotions, lay all your love on me"
"Mama Mia,here I go again ,my my how can I resist you?"
"Money, money, money Must be funny In the rich man's world Money, money, money Always sunny In the rich man's world Aha All the things I could do If I had a little money It's a rich man's world It's a rich man's world"
You are not rich because you earn NGN512k per month, but because you have zero dependents. So when you are going to marry, ensure you somebody who would have no dependent and least earn what you are earning.
ObosiUkwalla: So I was arguing with a friend who stays in the states and he keeps saying I am a rich guy.
Current salary is about 512k per month (take home), and has an annual increment of 15% of your take home. This is aside perks of perdiem anytime I travel outside work base (15k per night).
Anytime he wants me to have minor something done in NG on his bahalf, he expects me to use my money and whenever I ask, he tells me not to complain that I am rich (he knows what I earn), I don't have a problem doing those things for him.
I don't see myself rich and pls guys, what can someone earn in Nigeria to be termed rich. Your opinions will count alot as I still find it hard getting the usual daily stuffs we all use. I am not married and do not have responsibilities. My mom is a retired govt worker and other siblings are all working.
Cc: seun mynd44 pls help us for more audience and opinions
FalseProphet1: I see Putin dying before the end of this year, either by sickness, or poison, or coup, or nuclear bomb, the fact is that he won't cross this year alive.
Whatever happens in the primaries, the level of distrust in Nigeria cannot make Nigeria work in the next arrangement. It is the beginning of the end of the Nigeria project and its nunc dimitis!
You are and your ilk are among those dragging Nigeria backward. Jonathan's dream of a second (third) coming is dead and buried. No sane southern person will vote him. remember that the Southwest put him there in the first place. It won't happen this time around.
