@princesca, i also got a breech report at my last week antenatal, am 25weeks gone, but hopefully, its nothing to worry about. This baby has been so active, i could smack the butt, if only i know exactly where its placed.

@Rukemi, no wahala.... at least am thankful the muscle no hold mi this night, though i banded the leg jere. My mom said too much calcium sef causes the baby to b hyper-active...

@kaf cakes, for yoruba's i know the naming is done on the 7th day and those needed to be present, aside from the baby's grandparents, are just some few family and friends... depending on how you want it sha. some prefer it big..., personally, i had my 1st naming at my hubby's parents's place and it was a pretty large turnout... my MIL says my hubby has "ori-ero" to interprete, "head for crowd" so, nothing much from me. For the dedication, guess we did our months later sha.... and no reception afterwards.

In fact the kind of sore throat and cattarh, im battling with ehn, but I'm not willing to take anything, so i just avoided cold water and block, and the sore throat subsided, but the cattarh still dey disturb me, the Lord is ur muscle.

Dunni29: Hello all, I'm not new in the house but haven't commented on the thread. I'm in my 21st week. EDD april 2014. I'm off work for a few days as I'm down wit a mix of malaria and thyphoid- the test result showed mild cases of both. Doc prescribed amoxicillin and lumartem (arthemether and lumefantrine). Has anyone in d house used these drugs? What were d side effects?

I dunno about the amoxicillin, but i took arthemether and lumefantrin in my second trimester for prevention, think the name was artelium.

Hey Rukemi291, chill out small now, hummingbird is human oh, im sure she didn't meant it that she was gonna give them up for adoption, then on another note, there is nothing.wrong.with adoption, if I'm not mistaken there is an adoption thread on nairaland.com, some women have gotten their own blessings and joy by adopting. If people.didnt give up their kids for.adoption then those women will be deprived, I think we as Africans need to change our view on adoption, a child is a child irrespective of who bore them, that's my take sha.

My only advice to you is.to manage oh, when I took my first tt, I massaged and pressed it, i almost fainted, it became so painful and heavy, it even gave me fever and made all my symptoms worse, so my mum told me not.to.do that again, it took about 4days b4 it became better, but when I took the second dose, I didn't touch it, i didn't even massage or touch the area, it hurt for about a day, but that was it, so the secret is leaving it alone, kpele

prettimoi: Thnx everyone for ur love and care.i went for antenatal on wed and baby was still tranversed with life threatening cords round its neck.i was told to go bring my things for emergency CS but i begged to get back to work, inform my boss and arrange my desk cos i was supposed to start my leave on the 2nd.To cut d story short by 9pm i was in d hospital and by 11am d next day baby came.i thank God for everything.our ways are not his ways.am alive,baby is alive and doing well.

Blendy77: My Sister take ur baby to the hospital. I experienced exactly same thing last week and mine turned out to be measles. Though I have no idea if a 5m old can contact measles at that early age sha but then my own baby was not up to 9m before contacting it and we were actually waiting for 9m to immunize them. His twin brother was immunized today but we can't rule out his contacting it as he hasn't shown any symptoms yet.

If you were overweight...you are adviced not to put on up to the recommended weight gain which is 11kg - 16kg for women with normal bmi...you can google to find out more

I can't remember my bmi, but i know I was overweight sha, that I'm sure of, lol

baybiemee: @ kaf cakes, be rest assured that Ur twinnies are doing great whether u add or not. At my last appt. I discovered I lost 1.5kg, am not bothered at all, I weigh 75kg now. Hubby doesn't like fat so I will still watch it after putting to bed.
As for Ur babies, they will add weight after they are born, that's when u will concentrate and feed them well.
As for the fruits, it's not easy for me eating them too o, I play around with grapes, oranges and firm paw paw, then I use carrot and green beans for any kind of rice am making. We will soon be there.
