That pastor is clearly greedy, wicked and self-centered

He should give the person in need for the greatest commandment is love to those who do not have not those who have[pastor].

Tithe is a form of appreciation to God and to show your appreciation you have to sacrifice something so i feel you can make that sacrifice anywhere even on the streets.

Speaking i tongues only gives the speaker the feeling of being filled with the holy spirit and thus building him/her spiritually.

It thus builds the person's faith and belief in the power and presence of God.NOTHING MORE

except for those who can prophesy and heal others in tongues

I have been hearing that these guys are leading peeps astray and would want some1 to officially list the ways they are doing this.

MY OPINION

of MANY records,revelations,historical events and letters,a person[jerome] or group[holysee] voted to put together the ones they deemed IMPORTANT to serve as a guide and inspiration to christians and a basis for teaching the good news.this book became the bible.

there was no bible before this so any book not added to this is not part of the[their] bible. and any bible not containing what they compiled is incomplete.

there was no standard as to what books the bible should contain so whatever was compiled is the COMPLETE bible.

According to jn.14.28 God and jesus are unequal and therefore different but according to the trinitarian they are equal.why?

MY OPINION

1.One of the greatest problems of men of God is that of money due to extortion of the church to feed their families and enable them leave in luxury but celibates have no family of theirs and would spend more time knowing God and imparting the word of God than extorting the congregation.

2.They also have no immediate responsibility apart from the work of God and would thus do it better than the married.

Hence i have no problem with celibacy.

i never said females are the only bad ones or are bad at all and my topic shows that i have not condemned but opened this topic for all opinions[ i have gone as far as posting why they wrote it].

paul never said it was his personal opinion. theses were like guidelines if you have read the books of paul. Paul was trying to break Judaism ties by telling them that they were no longer under the law so he could not give his own laws for the law as he said is for criminals.[1.tim.1.10]

i just realised that my idea of over dressing is different from yours and from paul's and peter's too so we couldn't measure it here. nice seeing all your views though.

but i should let you know that what paul and peter meant was that they did not want the women to be flamboyantly dressed as they felt those things were worldly and would also make them no different from the heathen women and would also tempt the men.they wanted their women to look modest and be the admiration of all men to differentiate them from the heathen who practiced sexual immoralities and as such dressed to attract men.

that was their point in the two verses.

1.after seeing so many scriptures[ i would not quote unless you request for u know them] do you believe that jesus and God are distinct entities but still one God just as it is in marriage?

you just missed the boat though right on schedule-i am not a RELIGIOUS  person who goes about criticizing and jazz and as you can see i just said well,thus says the bible.

I am asking why christian sisters dont  follow the words of peter which accordingly to 2.tim.3.16 is the word of God.

I also want to cripple the excuse of ladies immoral/club dressing styles to church in the name of looking good for God.

but i have not reached any conclusion so i would want the "christian" sisters to explain this otherwise or tell me where they stand on the issue.

1.there are no other occurrences which is why jesus is called the ONLY  begotten son.
2.the kind is as a/the son of God.

i have looked at 326 so many times and i dont see any aim or point in it and your "point" as you replied is not helping matters so i see no point there. so tell me the "real" point or stop sending me back to it as i stated earlier.

Jesus spoke of the sin of the holy spirit when he though filled with the holy spirit and bearing his fruits was accused of having a demon in him[matt.12.28]. this means that his accusers were indirectly saying that the fruits of the spirit were same as that of demons.

this is what i THINK to be the sin against the spirit- doubting his authenticity and seeing it to be the same as demons or a fake. as the accusers did.
