BusinessRe: Why Is Customer Service In Nigeria So Aggressive? by karpentar: 3:48pm On Nov 19, 2012
True NaijaBwoy: After working with various institutions in the UK, to experience customer service in Nigeria can make you weep...

Customer Service is held in such high regard in the UK that it accounts to a £billion in industry in the UK.....

So for the love of God,
Why is it in Nigeria, An assist and support number is handed to the public via website or the industry forum, however, whoever decides to pick up the phone will ask questions like, how did you get this number? do you know who i am? do you know my position? do you know my qualification?

People these are my experiences from dealing with Lecturers, Banks, Hospitals and for the love of God Embassy.Everyone is determined to wheld this power to mearly frustrate people...

Question: Why is customer service in Nigeria soooooooooooooo aggressive!
Question 2: The customer is always right but not in Naija...discuss?
Folks are not only underpaid but even the "peanuts" are delayed for months and you think it wouldn't lead to stress? Not even sure the fellow had good night sleep due to NEPA stimulated tough conditions and yet you expect "customer is always right" to be applicable in Nigeria. It's a JOKE!!!!!

If you remove goal scoring as one of the basis for player ratings, then, Ronaldo will be a VERY VERY below average player. It's only on goal scoring that he reasonably measure up to Messi. In other areas like, ball control, ball skill, ball sense, dribbling, goal assist, accurate passes, fluidity, etc, Messi is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar ahead.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Accuse Referee Mark Clattenburg Of Racial Slur by karpentar: 3:18pm On Oct 29, 2012
bxg: Chelsea were not particularly hard done by
In recent times, a lot of hot air has been emitted regarding Manchester United's supposed preferential treatment from referees. Some lunatics genuinely believe there is an official conspiracy involving Sir Alex Ferguson, the FA, the CIA and Nasa. Their attitude will not have been changed by events at Stamford Bridge, yet the fuss over Sunday's game is misplaced, a convenient narrative that doesn't stand up to the most basic scrutiny. Fernando Torres should have been sent off long before his dubious second yellow card. Chelsea were not unlucky to be down to nine men; they were lucky not to be down to eight, because Mikel John Obi should have received a second yellow card for fouling Antonio Valencia. Chelsea were the better team at 2-2, but they were about to go 3-2 down when Branislav Ivanovic committed the foul for which he was correctly sent off.
And while Javier Hernández's winner was offside, United would probably have won the game anyway. Hernández's goal does not significantly impact on the balance sheet of refereeing mistakes in matches between United and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Since their previous league win at Stamford Bridge in April 2002 United have suffered a series of shocking decisions, most notably in 2002-03, 2007-08, 2009-10 and 2010-11. Two of those almost cost them the league; a couple of mistakes from Martin Atkinson in 2009-10 probably did cost them the title. They were due a decision at Stamford Bridge. They are due a few more before things can be said to have evened themselves out.
You should be ashamed of this write-up!!!
These repeated actions are not refereeing mistakes. It's becoming more and more apparent that referees are charged by the FA,EPL to keep ManU in the thick of the title race to earn the billions they charge for the TV rights. Open your biased eyes and see things. Without refs intervention, ManU would be languishing towards mid table, where they truly belong based on their poor performance this season. Last year, after they lost on a Saturday, Chelsea 'had to be defeated' by QPR to avoid them overtaking ManU in the standings. Of course, for that to happen, the ref had to take extreme measures, to the point that it was obvious. Yesterday was just a repeat of the same....

What a good decision it proved for Sir Alex Ferguson to rest Howard Webb and bring Mark Clattenburg in for Manchester United's trip to Stamford Bridge. The Geordie referee played a blinder, infiltrating a classic top-flight match to such an extent that all the talk afterwards was about him and not the football.

No wonder Chelsea lodged an official complaint against him post-match, after he'd sent off Fernando Torres for having the temerity to invite Jonny Evans to rake a boot down his shin, reducing them to nine men, then allowing Javier Hernandez's winner even though the Mexican scamp was half a yard offside. All hell broke loose then, as a shower of coins rained down on Chicharito and a steward hit the turf with a knee injury. I'm surprised Clattenburg didn't book him for simulation too.

Di Matteo was fuming, naturally - even attempting to engage United's bench in a spot of wrestling at one stage - but Fergie was in his element, claiming Torres' dismissal was "his own fault". Offering not a shred of irony, he then said he was due a few calls at the Bridge, because "it is very difficult to get decisions down here". Oh, and unsatisfied with two red cards, one completely erroneous, he also insisted John Obi Mikel should have had his marching orders. Shall we just leave you in charge of the red cards next time, Lord Ferg? Would you prefer that?

FamilyRe: Top 10 Reasons For Getting Divorced by karpentar: 11:44am On Oct 19, 2012
free2ryhme: I thought it would be interesting to share the top ten reasons for divorce according to www.divorce.com and to share some thoughts on the same. See how many of these you can relate to:

1. Financial problems. Too much, not enough, or disagreements about what to spend money on. This isn’t a big shocker yet it does continue to surprise me that there’s so much information out there on divorce but very little on premarital counseling or premarital agreements. By the time you come in to see me it is usually too late.

2. Communication problems. “He doesn’t talk” is usually the most common complaint but I often wonder if men and women really do speak different languages and that’s why we can’t understand each other, let alone communicate what we’re thinking to one another.

3. Family problems. His/her parents, his/her stepchildren, siblings, and the like. You name it and it’s there. It seems like the most common reason for a second marriage to end in divorce is stepchildren. Having an extended family member living with you is a close second.

4. Sex problems. Too much, not enough, sex with the wrong person, sex with the same sex, or sex with the family dog all have popped in divorce cases over the years. Watch out. Not enough sex is particularly a big deal for men so pay attention.

5. Friend problems. I don’t hear this one a lot but generally those coming in to finally get divorced don’t have the same friends anymore, so I suppose this could have precipitated the divorce in the first place.

6. Addiction problems. Alcohol, drugs, porn, food. I have seen it all and it does seem to take down many marriages like a one two punch in a heavy weight boxing match.

7. Abuse problems. Verbal, physical, emotional, sexual. Very common problem that isn’t talked about nearly enough for how frequently it comes up.

8. Personality problems. I think this is code for mental illness because depression, anxiety disorder, bi-polar, narcissistic and various other personality disorders on the DSM-IV pop up on a fairly frequent basis in my divorce cases. Little did I know how useful that psychology degree would be.

9. Expectation problems. She married him because she wanted to change him. He married her because he never wanted her to change. She did change. He didn’t. Now they are both unhappy.

10. Time problems. She never spends any time with me because she’s too busy with the kids. He works all the time. Or the opposite thing is said…why doesn’t he get a life and quit sitting on the couch all the time. I need some time to myself.

Dear Wife:

I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you forever. I've been a good man to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for it.
These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today and that was the last straw.
Last week, you came home and didn't even notice that I had a new haircut, had cooked your favourite meal and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You ate in two minutes, and went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don't tell me you love me anymore; you don't want sex or anything that connects us as husband and wife.
Either you're cheating on me or you don't love me anymore; whatever the case, I'm gone.

Your EX-Husband
P.S.
Don't try to find me. Your SISTER and I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!

Dear Ex-Husband -

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It's true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a good man is a far cry from what you've been.
I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining and griping. Too bad that doesn't work.
I DID notice when you got a hair cut last week, but the first thing that came to mind was 'You look just like a girl!' Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can't say something nice, I didn't comment.
And when you cooked my favourite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MYSISTER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago.
About those new silk boxers: I turned away from you because the £49.99 price tag was still on them, and I prayed that it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed fifty quid from me that morning.

After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out. So when I hit the lottery for ten million pounds, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Jamaica. But when I got home you were gone. Everything happens for a reason, I guess.
I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that the letter you wrote ensures you won't get a penny from me. So take care.

Signed,

Your Ex-Wife, Rich As Hell and Free!
P.S. I don't know if I ever told you this, but my sister Carla was born Carl. I hope that's not a problem.

CelebritiesRe: St.Janet Caught Her Husband Sleeping With Her Daughter by karpentar: 2:10pm On Oct 18, 2012
ogusbaba1: [b]These are indeed sad times for lewd female singer, Omotoyosi Kayode Iyun, popularly called St. Janet as her two-year oldmarriage is on the verge of crashing.

The highly sought-after live performer caused a big stir when she made a debut with her album entitled Faaji Plus. Interestingly, the controversial album instantly became a talking-point and an object of scorn from the church podium to the lawmakers’ chambers yet sold like a hot cake. While it was banned on radio and many homes, however at street corners and beer parlours, her songs still blare with gusto.

But inspite of her musical success, St. Janet’s happiness on the home front is fast turning into nightmares barely two months after marrying her heartthrob, Olukayode Samuel Iyun who incidentally is her band manager.

We gathered that the stocky built singer has packed out of her matrimonial home following a shocking discovery by her about her husband sleeping with one of her daughters. The girl (name withheld) from St. Janet’s previous marriage was reported to have spent the last holiday with her mother and step-father at their Ilapo Estate, Alagbado home.

St. Janet was said to be happy at the opportunity of being reunited with her daughter who was before then staying with one of her relations.

Unfortunately, her joy soon turned into despair as rumours started making the rounds about an amorous relationship between her daughter and her husband. All doubts about her suspicion were cleared recently when she allegedly caught her husband making love to her daughter whose age was put around 16 right inside her matrimonial home.

Sources close to the musician told our correspondent that the despicable act had thrown St. Janet off-balance and dejected and swore never to forgive Kay as her husband is fondly called.

The development has forced the lewd singer to move out of her matrimonial home as she could not bear the shame which the incident had brought upon her.

It was also disclosed that St. Janet has temporarily moved to Esado Hotel within the neighbourhood to fend off contact with Kay.

To say St. Janet is enraged by the ugly incident is to say the least, she is completely devastated as she reportedly cancelled all engagements for about two weeks ostensibly to recover from the rude shock.

Close relatives of the self-acclaimed General Overseer of St. Bottles Cathedral told our correspondent that the singer has since come to terms with the fact that her husband is a betrayer afterall and she has started treating him as such.

For those close to the couple, it is no longer news that St. Janet is her husband’s benefactor since they started dating over 12years ago. She is reported to have lavished money and materials on him all in a bid to sustain the relationship.

To further demonstrate her love, she reportedly opened a music studio for him along AIT Road but she has since driven out of the studio.

Though frantic moves are currently being made by both families to settle the matter but St. Janet is reportedly holding out as she pleaded for time to get over the matter before she can entertain a possible reconciliation.

Omotoyosi, as St. Janet is called by her parents, met her hubby 12 years ago in Abeokuta, Ogun State and the relationship is already blessed with a year old son, Orinayo Michael.

After frantic efforts to speak with the lewd singer about the story failed, one of the musician’s close aides debunked the story and described it as mere rumour. “I can tell you categorically that the story is just a rumour perpetrated by the grapevines. Although, there was a little misunderstanding between them but the grudges have no connection with infidelity,” the aide who would not want his name mentioned in the print told our correspondent.

Please wouldn't want anyone to rain on my parade, no rude comments, JAMB questions like "How have they contributed...blah blah blah" and no questions concerning the price of anything whatsoever. Thanks wink

1. We have Enuka Vanessa Okuma, Actress. She's most popular as Tracy in Rookie Blue, don't have the full bio though

2. Hope Olaide Wilson, Actress. She was Jennifer in the Tyler Perry movie I Can Do Bad All By Myself

3. Megalyn Echikunwoke, Actress. She played Isabelle Tyler in 4400 and Nicole Palmer in the first season of 24. Her dad is of Igbo royalty, her mother is of Scottish-Irish ancestry.

4. Annie Ngozi Ilonzeh, Actress. She's the first black Charlie's Angel...until the show was cancelled.
How's that a JAMB question? What indeed have the Nigerian or the world celebs contributed to the betterment of Nigerian nationhood or the world at large other than:

Out-of-control fornicating, adultery, wild partying and sensual into the night. Murder is everywhere we turn, killing, killing and more killings.

They cut themselves in the name of demonic tattoos. Why would any normal person want to hurt themselves?

They are untamed and out of control, naked, and acting crazy. This is all we see in the news:

These celebrities always get high on drugs, in and out of rehab, in and out of sexual relationships, blaspheming the God of the Bible, wearing a cross around their neck like Anna Nicole Smith. She eventually died of a massive drug overdose just months after her own son overdosed and died of illegal drugs.

Television viewers are infatuated with death, insanity, smut, violence, gossip, lesbianism, cursing in God's name, feminism, and every form of wickedness.

My dear poster, don't you let Hollywood brainwash you into believing that it's ok to live as they do. It's not.
