honeric01:I like to be the first to buy or sell. |
Blog icon:@Blog icon, Buy or Sell? Please check o! |
@Blog icon, my outlook on GU at the moment is bearish. Pulling up the H4 chart, you'll see why this pair is dragging its feet northwards. Summarily, GBP appears to have hit resistance - check it against other currencies. As per fundamentals, UK has dished out some impressive news lately but at this point, just the least negative shift in market expectation will send this pair crashing. It would be nice to wait for a pull up once more upwards, maybe towards 1.5900 (if the market wills), and pull the sell trigger. If you get in short here, using a tight SL would not be a bad idea. I have been wrong before! Utmost care is key here! Its good to see traders coming out once again especially, naijababe. Welcome sis ![]() NB Today is bank holiday in US so, market could be really slow. |
JAkpayen:Thanks bro; just trying to make it lighter. |
Blog icon:I wonder the same too! So, I now just check and see if anything has changed. Wake up, so we can all https://serve.mysmiley.net/animated/anim_65.gif this year! |
Don't mind him. 200% my armpit! |
jamace:We dey. Guess guys are https://serve.mysmiley.net/fighting/fighting0040.gif with the market and https://serve.mysmiley.net/sick/sick0013.gif |
honeric01:That is what I am saying - 1.53xx is some 200pips away so, going long at this point could have you sitting and sowing pips, instead of reaping. A retest of 1.58/59 may not come soon. In as much as the southward move appears to be stalling today, 1.5320 area is still a possibility. honeric01, good to see you bouncing back. We learn everyday. |
I think it is too early to buy GU; I still see a downward bias. Caveat emptor! (I have been wrong before). ![]() |
JAkpayen:Invariably suggesting weak dollar? Lets see how this plays out but I would rather sell EUR and AUD against the greenback on rallies. |
@JAkpayen, good as long as your analysis works for you. That algorithm is a little tough for me to follow (my brain no sharp again) The privilege is fully restored, thanks.@ honeric01, good you routed for UCHF. At the time of my analysis, UCHF did not have a distinct entry so I went for GCHF instead (GBP could be finding support in some quarters). Let's enjoy the ride and see how it plays out. Cheers! |
I think its time to sell CHF! |
jamace:@jamace, I don't think what honeric01 is experiencing with Odiaero is funny. I wonder why the former cannot lay his hands on the latter ![]() |
JAkpayen:These two do not have close inverse correlation. UCHF is not known to directly influence EU. (I earlier lost my posting privilege). ![]() |
@JAkpayen, From what I have seen about GU, I think next week could see 1.5850 resistance hold sending it down. Remember that the 1.5650 support had been voided earlier. Just like you rightly said, next week will tell. EU is giving me mixed signal. |
JAkpayen:He is not a professional trader; just a noise maker! I have seen seasoned traders, and this one does not come any close. |
odiaero:Those who do what counts don't go back to count them. I have said that before. Who is asking you how much you damage, sorry manage? You are simply a cheap attention-seeker. Go get a life and stop deceiving some gullible traders! What do I need to see apart from calls for your head here and there? Try and settle all the people you are owing. I can handle you and what you represent, empty vessel. 50k account my armpit! Settle honeric01!! |
@honeric01, you sound depressed and discouraged. I don't know what has gone wrong but just like martog has said, you need to dust up yourself and get going. Work on yourself some more, and you will have a cause to look back and smile. ![]() Meanwhile guys, the pressure on EUR does not seem to have cleared. If anything should happen to Spain then, a major southward move is sure. GU looks like it is bracing up for a decent downtrend. Is anybody seeing what I am seeing (H4 and daily)? But, if it breaks above 1.5850 then, we could be having another picture all together. |
ecoh:This is not true. |
jamace:It is because MOST of them don't work. If I have an EA that works, what is my business looking for a buyer then I can be making all the money? |
Non farm very cool? At 39k vs 143k expected and increased unemployment rate? Maybe you meant that the surprise factor was cool (for those that trade news). Expect something different next week when investors fully digest that info. Looking to buy the greenback. Just my 50kobo. |
martog:Nna, people like me don't do news. I just watch from the sidelines if I am not in a trade already. ![]() |
Good to see that u guys are back. I thot the thread had been abandoned or FX had gone into extinction , I do enjoy everyone's contribution.By the way, where is Odiaero, The Million Dollar man.
He has gone where he belongs - oblivion. Not all of us are fools. |
showreals:I have not seen anything wrong with trading in December. You can trade actively until few days to xmas, then resume some days after Jan 1st. |
Nice to see that guys are beginning to creep back, together we can make it. @honeric01 and martog, nice to have you guys back. @martog, I would like to experience what you said you experienced with some users here when the time comes. @ honeric01, if you have the passion for forex, nothing else matters; if you dont have the passion, nothing else matters. That is the only thing that could keep you going until you are able to come up with a formidable system. Cheers all! |
Where is everybody? LOL! Is it that the pip sowing has drained our drive? ![]() Success in forex does not come easy folks!! |
Was that an odometer or trip meter? |
Hi folks, How has it been? I have not been able to find an entry for some time now. I don't know if anybody else is experiencing this. ![]() |
