@honeric01, you seem surprise to be 'meeting' other traders; you think you are alone? ![]() |
Make sure you put the /forum else, project management loads. ![]() |
What is not loading? The site? |
honeric01:I am game bro. You can also join a few of us at the forum above. |
honeric01:I guess you meant, "Trade what you see, and not what you wish or hope" Kudos. |
adros84:The site is up and running as I type this. It is www dot getmoreng dot com slash forum. Dot = . and make sure there are no spaces. Cheers. |
For those of us whose posts keep missing here, we can be meeting at a dedicated forex forum for Nigerians: www dot getmoreng dot com / forum. C U there. |
FIFA can jump into the lagoon! Will they fund NFF? If the sole sponsor of an organisation says he is tired of their lackluster performance for obvious reason of corruption, what can one do? Why did Globacom leave? You want GJ to come and tell the world that his FA is corrupt? Remember he is only carrying out the recommendation of the PTF. FIFA my armpit! ![]() |
jamace:If you are a forex trader, you will surely know a scam when you see it. You don't need to even get near. 200% monthly returns?? S/he should go tell it to the marines! ![]() |
@poster, go to www dot babypips dot com. You will learn all you need to get started. From your post, you are a stark novice so thread with caution I beg you. One more thing: Forex trading is NOT easy. Don't let anybody deceive you. Don't expect spectacular result before six months. Best of luck! |
For those of you who want to use Guardian, you can call Mr John on 08033044627. I have placed adverts with him sometime last year. Have not called him since then though. |
This goes out to anybody out there trying to find his footing in fx trading - STAY AWAY FROM ROBOTS!! I am telling you from personal experience. Those proponents have never traded live. Ask any successful trader, and see what he says about fx robots. Look at a few red flags for potential trainers: 1 - He will just sell an EA to you and you go to sleep (flee from this one) 2 - He will train you over the weekend 3 - One week seminar is all you need 4 - He does not use stop losses 5 - He says his method is the only way Before you go to anybody, let him show you proof of profitable trading for at least, three months. @jahnnelly, nobody hacks any account. Pros don't care if you make your statement public; it is just easy for them to detect foul play. When an amateur talks, pros know. They know that robots don't work. If you like, back-test it 15 years, it still performs woefully when deployed real time. If you want to be successful trading fx, learn it. Spend time and energy! You need lots of experience and unfortunately, this does not come without considerable perseverance and dedication. If you are good and turbo-charged, six months might be enough to see you stabilising. Cheers! |
Jahnnelly has a knack for avoiding questions directed at him. Tell us why you have not deployed your account-multiplier in a live account. If you like, make millions in demo trading, it does amount to anything. Anyway, I know some robot marketers who don't even have a demo account! Newbies, beware. |
@bily, you are spot on! fx trading is serious business and must be taken as such; not get-rich-quick scheme. It takes time for a trader to be mature enough to keep stops, limit exposure, manage risks and so on. These don't come unless time has been invested. |
@jahnnelly, you post trades from a demo account? Don't you have a live account?Newbies, beware!! There are lots of falsehood in this business. Like Bigheart pointed out, if the EA is making millions, he would not be here worrying about buyers. If it is that good, let him deploy it in a live account; it is common sense. |
No matter what a forex newbie is taught, if he does not conquer his emotions then, he keeps making the same mistake over and over again, wiping out string of accounts, Of utmost importance is to make him understand that forex success does not come in a flash, |
uihebom:Here goes another unfortunate tale about forex trading. If you attend a two-day seminar and expect to start making money in forex then, you'll surely lose. It is a pity you lost just like that but the fact remains that you either did not have the right orientation, or you were not disciplined enough to follow the rules. If you quit, you have become a loser big time. Forex trading is not easy; if it was, everybody would have become a millionaire. Only 5% of traders are profitable. So you can imagine that an exam that has a failure rate of 95% is not for junior teams. It is not jackpot so you must take it like a serious business. Believe it or not, it takes months for a trader to become profitable but sadly, only a very few have what it takes to go through that phase of losses and frustration. You must be able to stay long enough to find out what works for you. @Olajides, forex is VERY real. You can make or/and lose any amount of money. |
seun awo:You can't succeed with 'ideas'. You need solid training because in forex, many things come to bear. Refuse to be trained until you find a successful and willing trader. |
magragold:Like I said before, Alpari is now represented (Rep Office) in Nigeria, as confirmed by Alpari UK. Their website is http://www.alpari-forex.com/en/lagos/. This office is however affiliated to Alpari Russia, which is part of Alpari group. Hope this helps. |
Your question is more of skepticism than wanting info. We all know what Alpari does so, you can check it out yourself. |
magragold:Yes, Alpari is now represented in Nigeria. I have seen their office at Allen Avenue Ikeja. I have read it from their website before actually seeing the office. |
This happens to babes too. I saw a babe's picture in my friend's house and told him I would like to meet her. He gave me her number and told her his friend wishes to get in touch with her. We started talking on phone and after two weeks, I paid her a surprise visit at her office. She came out to the banking hall, and for some seconds, felt as if something was choking her. Even while she was attending to some issues from her colleagues (she is the BOM in a top bank), she almost fidgeted. We talked for some minutes, and I asked to take my leave. After many months, when we have become familiar with each other, she told me how my first visit threw her off-balance. She felt out-presented. She said she was like, "why this guy no tell me he dey come make I arrange myself?" The same thing attractive ladies do to guys is the same thing presentable guys do to them; don't mind them jare. ![]() |
hey guys what of this forex robot of a thing? how true is it?
Please stay away from robots. They don't deliver what their proponents claim. Hope you heed this, ![]() |
larry x:I am doing fine my brother. I can say I trade forex full time because I scan the charts daily. In this world of ours, you'll agree with me that it is nice to try and equip ourselves. You can send me a mail via the email addy on my profile, (I would have to keep a tab on it). Hope to learn from you too. |
Let me see if this post-deleting demon will leave this one ![]() |
@holahabib, If the only options I have for proof of live trading lie between account statement and screenshot, I would settle for screenshot. The reason being that statements are much easier to doctor. Moreover, there is no way of know if a statement is from a demo or live account. A screenshot makes a lot of difference. However, a screenshot proves that a published statement is not a demo statement. A statement shows a more comprehensive history/trend, and not a choice selection. The account statement must bear the same account number on the screenshot. I can't ask you to publish your statement but if you so wish, go ahead but please, soft-pedal on your choice of words. @Magragold, those results are great. I wonder how much is in that account. |
