Congrats sis! I was explaining to a friend just this morning that its not all about number of pips.

I suggest that you re-evaluate and think of profit/loss in terms of %.
Let me cite an example:
I went long today on usdjpy @ 79.93 with my SL @ 79.66 (27pips). If I decide to risk 5% on this trade, I would use
5% * 100/27 = 5% * 3.7037= 18.5% of my capital on this trade.
If I make  measly 27pips profit, I get 5% added to my capital.

Now if I come on this self same thread and say I made 54 pips that obviously would NOT sound like a big deal to any trader. Yet if I repeat this feat, compounding daily for 22 trading days, I would have made at least 500% profit.

IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT PIPS SIS, THINK IN %.

So you rather she comes here to tell you she made thousands of dollars like some fellas do? Forex gain/loss is counted in pips jare. The % is subject to money management, and not easily quantifiable.

It appears EU is plotting a head and shoulder? Should that be the case then, it would be a south-bound move! At this level, I no longer trade "e be like say". Panadol must be panadol. LOL!!

That said, are we expecting any pull back on EU at this point or it's best we wait till 1.47xx or 1.48xx for a pullback? trying to figure out when to short EU.

But can the resistant at 1.47xx obstruct the up movement or are we likely to have a crash soon?
The northward move on EU appears to be weakening. I have exited the long I entered earlier. I could not see the resistance you refer to in at 1.47xx though. For me, it is waiting time again for this pair.

@JAZE, can see you are a fundamental trader.

V6 is better than I4, but these days, what I see all these 1.8l engine-powered corolla and civic do on the road is amazing. They just pull up behind you and the next thing is they just whiz past! shocked

Which of the brokers are safe? - Many of them but, learn for now

As per how much you can start with, start with $50 on a micro account! Ignore this advise at your peril!

My experience on this thread is that the tempo fluctuates. In this business, people don't always tell what they do so, when peeps start sowing pips in large volumes instead of reaping, it tends to affect their posting. (That is my calculation).

After a bottom-out, posting will resume. (has it resumed already?) undecided

100pips is not good enough on 4hr TF. You should be looking at 150pips and above. Depending on how you trade, your SL on 4hr TF could be up to 100pips. Are you gonna be doing a risk/reward of 1 then?

I posted a caution on AUD buy at this time but was banned. If anybody must buy AUD, let him wait, especially against GBP and JPY.

@blog icon, I can see that you are still banned. Have you tried sending them a mail?

On AUDUSD, the correction is likely to do more than 300pips, and this may not be as short term as you may imply. Just like you, I don't like targeting small small pips so I look for swing trades.

If AU breaks current level, which is very likely, it would head for 1.0200 level, get some breather before targeting 1.0067. If any unfavourable news should come from the kangaroo country then, AU is sure to head below parity.

Just my 50kobo. Respect!

@meshpips, I entered GBPAUD long last night because I favour that direction. I have moved my SL to entry after 50pips in profit. If I get stopped out and 1.5440 is breached, I would start looking for a sell entry targeting 1.5140.

To me, upward move for AUDUSD is limited. AUD should be around resistance now.

Caution on Aud buys.
