There's literally no much difference in the infrastructures and technology of those era (pre-1999 Nigeria) from that of the industrialised worlds of today to me, but somehow, somewhere we got it wrong, smh, and we're here still grappling with the second industrial revolution, and attempting to integrate into the third one.

And some may attribute those erstwhile growth to the military government, but are the developed countries of today necessarily the way they are under a dictatorship?
