there once was a village, called Zoo republic. Where Men had the upper hands. Men had the upper hands as they believed they were stronger, there were the only ones able to pass laws however they were not subject to those laws.
These men announced far and wide, if you see a damsel, she is yours for the taken; should the damsel be dressed in a bikini, then you are free to molest her, after all she wants it thats why she is dressed that way. The law was not challenged.

These men, extended the law; should you see a female dressed in a knee length skirt and you desire her, feel free, molest her even if she says no, afterall, females know not what they want. they need "us" men to tell them what they want. And then the law, got extended, should the lady wear a loose gown and you desire her, have your way, forcefully if you wish.

As time went by, the restless male folks in the village would break into homes of families, and molest the females (wives and daughters) were not spared; after all, the law allows for that.

As these acts carried on, soon it was discovered, that females in their 20's already had multiple partners because men took advantage of them due to the laxity of the law; the men folk once again, reviewed the law and decided regardless of the age, any female dressed in a manner that makes you, as a man feel hornny, ravish her after all she wants it.

So the men gleefully began preying on teenage female folks and then, moved to children, then toddlers and babies.

Years went by, a generation arose however the culture and belief of a lack of self control and responsibility remained embedded in the village, albeit, now a city, dare i say, a Country. Where infact, the female folks were led to believe should you be raped and/or assaulted, it is YOUR fault.

The new generation of male folks visited a country in a far away land, a country united by 52 states and displayed their wonderful culture, a culture rich and colourful; so much so that they assaulted the female folks in that country as they would if they were in their country: Alas, their host country would not accept their actions.

These men ran back to their beloved Zoo republic, huffed and puffed; with a generation of supporters behind them, defenders of their culture, upholders of the law daring the united by 52 states country to prove that what these men folk did was wrong.............Centuries later, the men folk in Zoo republic realised the following had begun taking place in their beloved zoo republic

- Their beloved daughters were being molested by their male teachers. Why? Because the laws and beliefs they upholded and supported
- Their wives were constantly being molested by bosses at work and by hoodlums at night. Why? Because the laws and beliefs they upholded and supported.
- Their beloved mothers were being molested in the farms because even the male folks didnt want to be left out of the actions

Alas, they realised the chickens had come home to roost

Do we all see what happened in Ilorin? Where youths were protesting outside the government house? That’s what Nigerians need to do. Abi are we not tired of the same old, recycled, out – of touch, selfish and insensitive governments?

We demand a new party, formed by Nigerians who have

I have family in Nigeria and my heart bleeds. No light, no water, no jobs. Girls resort to prostitution, boys resort to kidnapping, students resort to political thuggery, our parents are owned salaries 6 months on, the “fortunate” ones are paid half salaries yet our leaders are buying penthouse flats for their children in the poshest part of London, Paris, New York.

Nigerians need to learn to put sentiments aside. We are talking about your baby's health here. That child is not satisfied hence sucking constantly. He isnt getting enough nutrients/food from the single source. Babies use alot of strength to suck and if your baby isnt getting enough food to recoup the strength, you may end up in hospital

Finally, the benefits of breastfeeding are enormous however, the main nutrients passed through breastmilk is the Colostrum ( the milk produced during the first few days of birth). The rest of the milk produced is just regular milk o

why wont they hide their money, when the economy is in recession yet the govt refuses to acknowledge the recession and take steps to tackle it.

Again, budget money has not being released and we are over 1 yr in power despite the fact the budget has being approved.

Thank God you live in a country where you can file for child support. Go ahead with you application for support. When he starts paying for CSA or its deducted from his earnings involuntarily he will be forced to be involved in his child's life. It will come natural. However for the time being, focus on other things and dont dwell on getting closure from him.
Morally he owes you an explanation, legally he doesnt. What he is legally obligated to do is to look after his child whether he chooses to be part of the childs life or not.
He also does not have to be physically involved with his child in order to be financially responsible so move on please and stop dwelling on this. When the child is old enough, he can ask his dad those questions

When a child grows up in a home where violence and abuse are reoccurring, the male kids grow up to accept the fact it's okay to put your hands on another person.
They engage in fights in school....even outside school environment.

As adult males, they subconsciously derive the notion that it's OK to beat your girl /wife. They believe a woman who "truly" loves you will remain with you despite the bashing and panel beating of her by u.

They take no responsibility and have no sense of accountability. They do not like to be questioned about anything and resort to violence when queried.

For the ladies, it's the same, they slap their boyfriends/hubby's. Fight friends/in laws.....some others believe if a man doesn't beat you then he doesn't love u.
Some other females would see nothing wrong in that environment because they grew up in such and have become desensitised to it. They think it's the norm because they don't know any better.

Worst case scenario is you end up with kids who become saddist: they derive joy and happiness from inflicting pain and torture, physically and mentally on others because they grew up in a environment where dad was always hitting mum and then 2 days later mum is smiling and laughing with dad because she has forgiven him. So in their deranged mindset, they believe you have to pass thru pain in order to get joy
