My brother, I need not to remind you that during the PDP era, we witnessed series of bombing in different parts of this country. Lagos and Abuja were not even spared. insurgency was surging on daily basis with the Boko haram in control of some LGS but the menace has been subsidised and it can always get better under President Muhammadu Buhari.

We need to start moving forward and not going back to hand over power to those that led us to where we are today.

Boko Haram has subsided, yet we've had the worst attacks by Fulani herdsmen with hundreds of casualties. Who are you guys deceiving?
What about the bandits rampaging Zamfara and Katsina. Was there anything like that during the PDP era?

That said, remembering that Boko Haram once nominated Buhari to negotiate for them, there is nothing to be impressed about if BH decided to pipe down a little bit when their man came into power.

Kwankwaso's political survival is dependent on a PDP win on Saturday.
Kwankwaso needs PDP to win the senate and HOR seats, so if he's going to get his supporters to vote for PDP for those seats, they would equally have to vote for PDP for presidential election. If he wants to support Buhari for presidency through the backdoor, then he's shooting himself in the foot.
Kano may have 5m voters, but Atiku will get a significant portion of it. Same for Katsina and Kaduna. Buhari's margin of win in the North West may not even cancel out Atiku's margin of win in the South East.

This analysis below is important to common man.... who are majority Voters in this 2019 elections.....

1. They said when Buhari took over from them a bag of rice was N11,500 but they took over when it was N2,500

2. They said when Buhari took over from them ltr of petrol was N87 but they took over when it was N11.

3. They said when Buhari took over from them $1 was N235 but they took over when it was N20.

4. They said when Buhari took over from them a bag of cement was N2,000 but they took over when it was N400.

While the change under APC happened in 3 years, it took PDP 16 years to cause that change.
A man who loses 1 billion naira in 3 years is worse off than a man who loses 1 billion in 16 years.

Apart from the above, remember that before 1999, minimum wage was less than 3k. 16 years later, under PDP it was already 18k. APC met minimum wage at 18k, and it is still the same amount till today despite the inflation.

Buhari is president yet his people are being killed in Katsina and displaced from their home land. How has Buhari's presidency benefitted the ordinary people of Katsina and Zamfara other than ushering death and destruction to them?

Apart from the elite, presidency rarely benefits the common man in the region the president hails from.
Yorubas accuse Obasanjo of not doing anything for them when he was president, Niger Deltans accuse Jonathan of disappointing the people of Niger Delta during his tenure. Buhari has failed the people of Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna and the entire North as a whole.

So, why should Igbos vote a failed president because of an unrealistic expectation that he would hand over to them in 2023? Is Tinubu dead that Buhari will hand over to an Igbo man?

Most of you guys are missing the crux of the post. The second part of the post "...Africa's youngest youth population" is the reason why it's an issue. US, UK and most other developed nations have a large elderly population with a good life expectancy, so even if an elderly man leads them, it's no big deal. In Nigeria on the other hand, majority of the population are young. It thus becomes awkward when an elderly man is leading a population of young people, in a nation with a very low life expectancy.

I've been in a seemingly similar situation in the past. She was a great girl with a lot of virtues, but I just couldn't deal with her size (she's petite, and I on the other hand aren't a tall guy). My advice for you is that if there is no tangible reason why you don't feel attracted to her, then perhaps you can build the attraction. It's all about reconditioning your mind. Just determine to love her. Start making sacrifices for her. At the beginning, it might seem like a burden but with time, you'll get used to it and you'll start enjoying it. The truth is that what sustains marriages isn't the kind of feeling you're looking for, rather it's the kind of virtues your girl has. Don't let her slip away. If you lose her, I can bet you that you will regret it later. I am 100% sure of that.

2007 election is the most compromised election ever held in Nigeria even Yaradua himself admitted it.

Buhar won in the NE and NW in 2011 and this time there will no longer be paltry 4,000, 30,000 or 50,000 votes for him in non-stronghold areas

2007 was heavily compromised, but Yar'Adua would still have won if it was free and fair, the same way Jonathan won in 2011. The voting pattern of 2011 was similar to that of 2007.

Buhari would still win in the NE and NW but the margin of win won't be as much as it was in 2015. Jonathan got only about 5% of Kano votes. Atiku would get much more than that, even though he may not win Kano. Same for other states in the NE and NW.

Is it even safe to step out of your house without a phone in this day and age? What if you have an emergency and need to quickly call for help, maybe a collapse in a lonely place, a serious injury and nobody is around to help etc?

You're a liar! Put the pictures side by side and compare. Even the people outside the stadium yesterday were probably more than those inside. Buhari only filled the inside. Kwankwaso filled not just the stadium but all the streets around the stadium.

2. The capacity of the campaign venue is a maximum of 40,000. If out of the millions of registered voters in Kano, a meagre 40,000 came to grace the rally, it shouldn’t mean anything to those who use reason.

Use your sense bro. If the stadium is 40k capacity, it means 40k people will be able to sit down at any given time. It doesn't account for those standing on the pitch and the tracks, does it? Does it also account for those standing on the aisles and those hanging on different things? If that stadium is 40k capacity, I can boldy tell you that at least 80k people were there yesterday.
Now, those who filled up the streets outside the stadium were probably as much as those inside. Did you also include them in your 40k?

3. Assuming #5000 was given to each person at the campaign venue (as alleged in some quarters and confirmed by some people in the Kwankwasiyyah group), a piffling sum of #200,000,000 would have been more than enough to gather such crowd.
I call this piffling not because I am wealthy but because Atiku spent much more than that during the PDP presidential primaries. He was confirmed to have given each delegate $5,000. Atiku got a total number of 1,532 votes during the PDP presidential primaries, so I will be limiting my calculation to this number on the assumption that those who voted for him were the only beneficiaries of the money (which can’t be true). If $5,000 was given to a delegate, the total amount spent would have been at least 2.7billion naira... (I used 360 as the exchange rate)

Can you tell us how much Buhari has been paying for his crowds including those he rents from neighbouring States?
If Atiku could pay such amount to get them attend his rally, he can also pay them to get them vote for him.

4. What he spent on just a hundred and fifty delegates can garner much more people than we saw yesterday. As we all know, the PDP is a party filled with people who are media freaks and would do anything to have a good image on social media rather than in reality.

5. What should be worrisome to the PDP(if they are thoughtful) is the fact that over 90% of the crowd were on red caps, which means if you don’t belong to the kwankwasiyyah movement, there is high likelihood that you don’t do Atiku..

So you think all Kwankwasiyya members in Kano state attended the rally, or are you assuming all PDP supporters in Kano are Kwankwasiyya members? There was PDP in Kano before Kwankwaso returned, and even if Kwankwaso decamps to APC today, there will still be people that will vote for PDP in Kano.

6. A friend of mine who happens to belong to this movement told me clearly yesterday that, even if they were not paid, majority of them would have gone to welcome Atiku and cronies just because they wouldn’t want Kwankwaso to be disgraced...but this doesn’t change the fact that those who will be voting for Buhari in the presidential election are in the majority.

That's the same way they will vote Atiku and other PDP candidates so that Kwankwaso will not be disgraced.

7. Kano State is so populated that even if the devil goes there for campaign, he would get at least 30,000 people to welcome him.

For a private citizen like Atiku to get more supporters than the sitting president in Kano, then Buhari is in soup. If Atiku was the president, I would have said people turned out just to see him cos he's the president. This explains the crowd Buhari pulls in some states when people turn out just to catch a glimpse of the president, not that they love him. It's the same reason Jonathan had some northerners show up in his campaign in 2015.

You can imagine that despite the massive crowd Atiku pulled in Kano yesterday, nobody died, even though some collapsed due to exhaustion. Buhari's campaigns have been marred by fatalities, at least thrice now. Such a shame on the ruling party.

He doesn't have to campaign against Buhari. He only needs to tell his supporters to vote for the umbrella, and they will heed to the call.

The truth is that the highest amount of votes Buhari can poll in Kano on Saturday is 50%. That's just me being very generous. In 2015, he polled more than 90% of the votes. It means in Kano alone, about 1 million or more votes will be shifted from APC to PDP. That will close APC's 2015 margin of victory by about 2 million. Remember that APC won PDP with just 2.8 million votes. Kano alone is going to cancel out 2 million out of that number. We haven't talked about Benue, Taraba, Plateau, Kogi, Nasarawa, even Zamfara etc.

Buhari is gone, my dear.

You should realise that there is a difference between IPOB and Igbos. Not all Igbos are IPOB members.
Up till now, IPOB members are still calling for election boycott. Go and check Radio Biafra on Facebook and understand that several thousands of IPOB members have sworn never to vote in this election. The people you see attacking Nnamdi Kanu are those who never believed in the whole IPOB movement, and believe me, they constitute a large number of Igbos.
