Na full-time Bachelor I be oo. I hated beans as a kid till I started cooking then I realized the mistake our parents were making which was just cooking to satisfy hunger and not to enjoy it.

Beans garnished with small pieces of fish or meat(2 encourage dem as kids hate beans), Salad,all types of sandwiches(cheese,sausage,butter,jam e.t.c), oats+fried eggs, Moi-Moi, plantain porridge e.t.c Madam food plenty well well.

Noise all through. Little wonder my Nigerian music playlist has not changed much for years. I just transfer them from one smart device to another and people keep wondering why I still have older songs. Quality over ~~quantity~~ noise.

People should join those office co-operative where a percentage (18% in my case) of monthly salary is automatically removed right before you get the salary alert. That way even if you are a big spender, you adjust yourself to the net income you get after co-operative deduction. The bulk sum, after some months, can then be used to fund major projects like building of houses.

What pain is the chap talking of? Those that have rushed into the University and graduated, how many of them have had jobs? How many had jobs in their 1st,2nd or 3rd year?Take it from someone who has real life experience, if you want something(LAW) seat your a.ss down and work towards it, not settling for lesser alternatives(Religious studies).

No where in my post did I indicate that she should waste her life doing nothing, which I presume you youths do these days, while waiting to retake the exam.She was advised to learn a skill.You are not going to burst into the over-saturated job market with zero skill and a paper certificate and expect to start making money just like that.

Are you always this dull and myopic when reading other people's comment on Nairaland?

From choosing Law to contemplating Islamic studies shocked

! Your cousin paints a picture of the typical Nigerian youth who just craves a University degree even if it's BSc in garri drinking. I doubt if she'll even make it into Law school or manage to graduate from one if she had passed the Post-UTME.

Why the rush into University by the way ? She can learn one of these important skills: Tailoring a.k.a Fashion Designing, Hair Dressing, Event planning e.t.c while waiting to retake the exam next year for Law. She might end up earning her paychecks from the above skills than that paper certificate.
