If your house rent is 69k or 70k per annum as some of the dolts that commented, you are probably a low income earner and should not be concerning yourself and complaining over smart electronic devices that are of premium price! angry It was never meant for your type! angry angry

What happened to ''cut your coat according to your size'' and proper money management among youths? Who are you planning to impress with a 70k phone when you can hardly live in a good environment and appartment that worths more than your 70k rent?

The heart of a man beats faster than normal during intercourse, same way a man's heart beats when he is scared, afraid or hears bad news just that with intercourse the excitment will not make you even notice and if you have a weak heart, a cardiac arrest may occur.

Oh! I understand you now. You are actually right, but why would security be after them? They didn't commit any crime nah
Read Profdada's last response to you, no one can be that lucky to go on winning streaks of large sums of money emphasis on ''large sums'', the house (Vegas casino) believes there must be a loophole being exploited and will have to cut it and possibly ban you from their Casino.

Why security? Any problem on being on winning streak?
No problem but the house hates smart bettors who win big regularly, that's why you read of people who bookmakers have closed their accounts because they have been winning large amounts.
Let's say you are a bet agent and I come to your shop for six straight weekends telling everyone there to bet large amounts on a certain high odd game in an obscure league in Eastern Africa ,say 10 odd, which always win everytime. On the seventh week, would you allow me place a bet and/or remove the market completely?

SportsRe: Youths Visit "Mad Men" & "Imbeciles" To Win Big In Sport Bets (Photos) by kevoh(m): 11:51am On Sep 27, 2015
The only time you can continuously make it BIG in sport betting is if you are the bookmaker yourself, the house always win and the odds are always stacked against the bettors. Go to Las Vegas and see how people lose $10000 in one night (not all these N50/N100)and if you manage to be on a winning streak, security comes and kicks you out.

You will be amazed at the charity work most of these bet houses do and to crown it all they do pay TAX to the government thereby increasing goverment revenue. 95% of prosperity-preaching and tithe collecting houses are against TAX and have never paid a dime.

Now every addiction is bad even addiction to Nairaland and betting is more DANGEROUS, it could drain all your entire savings in the blink of an eye. 90% of bettors ALWAYS lose but few smart and sometimes lucky Fellas still win.
Time to ignore your posts and you mentioning me!

dont compare betting with education not the same...in betting u looking for quick money and it can kill..in education u laying a good foundation for urself in the future...so wat u saying here?
Your initial premise holds that ''anything bring money to take money is not accepted'' which is actually a fallacy as business, education, betting, farming e.t.c virtually almost every money earning venture in life all fall in the same category. Maybe you should look up on your comments, think hard about it before generalising and clicking the Nairaland submit button next time.

Oga how else do you earn money in this World?
1. You use MONEY to pay for school fees from Primary to University so that you can get a job and start EARNING money.
2. You start a business with CAPITAL (money) to start making profit (money).
3. You use money to package your outward appearance (Car,Suit,Presentation,Proposal, regular info on call for tenders e.t.c) so that you can get thet contract.

You need money to make money damn it!

So 5000 silly people decided to follow jesus without going with their own lunch pack except for the little boy. Clap for yourself!  angryThis can only happen in the era were there were no cameras, no twitter nor facebook, no Linda Ikeji  tongue, no smartphones, no James Randi, heck Criss Angel performs better magic tricks tongue and the only back up to the story is the bible. So little or none of this ''wonderful miracle'' is mentioned by the great rulers and historians except the bible. Yeah, spiderman and thor exist, check marvel comics  for proof!  undecided

On a realistic discussion level, I will go with it just being an allegory.

Thank Youtube for that. With every tom, dick and harry competing for stupid views while exposing magic tricks unnecessarily. Meanwhile, magicians like Criss Angel are still making money, they know how to make real entertainment not just only magic trick.

seems cool
btw can someone tell mw what happend to the original series heroes, theyvhad some pretty interesting chararcters, like sylar, micheal and co
They've all moved on to other things with Sylar (Zachary Quinto) being the most successful of them. Hiro will appear as guest, Micah and HRG, Mr.Bennet, are still in the series and Micah looks older, Claire and Peter Petrelli were not invited owing more to their relationship wahala on set, Yes, Claire was engaged to Peter in real life.

Micah's mother, Nikky/Jessica, (Ali Larter) wants more time to devote to her kids in real life and become more of an author/writer than actress. Her husband is rich though.

Most importantly, the old characters are best left behind and out of this new series as they will take the shine out of the new characters and kill the whole storyline.

DrGroove:
So u expect a graduate to go fry akara? why go to school if u will end up doing menial jobs like illiterates on the road side?
No the graduate went to school to have common sense and think more ''out of the box'' than the average unschooled akara seller.

1. He could fry and deliver his akara in hygienic brownpaper bags(like the types they use in selling fries in McDonalds or KFC) to those in corporate institutions like the banks. People would pay premium for anything it all matters how it is packaged.

2. He could get a fabricated stove that produces the least of smoke and consume less fuel(kerosene, firewood, gas e.t.c), install himself in a high density market and start making money.

There are many possibilities an educated GRADAUTE mind can explore even online, yes, online it might sound funny but ain't all startups funny till the money starts rolling in.

We could still have the same holiday by celebrating something that is worth it. Something that gives everyone pride to be a Nigerian; something that gives meaning to everyone.
Sir, we have May 29 Democracy day and October 1st for that. Enjoy the Sallah, man. For non-muslims who work far from their loved ones, it is the perfect period for them dash home to see aged parents, long-distant families or just take the period to rest after weeks of stressful work+monstrous hold ups(Lagos workers can testify here) while for others it's time to celebrate whatever belief they have, foreign or otherwise.

The holiday doesn't seem harmful, let people enjoy themselves or do nothing and get back to their routine life on Monday. Chill man!
