frubben:No, it's not a paid advert. We've actually had thermal imaging and other heat detectors at Abuja airport way before COVID-19/coronavirus. The equipment were brought right after the ebola case of Patrick Sawyer. I know this because I've seen this thermal imaging equipment countless times while working at abuja airport. It was a matter of bringing them back to use the moment we realized coronavirus was in Nigeria. |

jclave22:What drugs did the doctor prescribe for you? |
Any eediot that tells you the average Nigerian can not pay for electricity give him/her a big knock on his head. You are estimating 10k, 15k, 20k per month for people while on prepaid non-heavy users hardly consume 2 to 3 k worth of light per month. With the prepaid meter, everyone can afford to pay for electricity. |
The Discos want to play a fast one on us! Your contract ends this year, Force Majeure kill all of una dere! ![]() See them, yeye discos! They want to collect free money! They didn't install new or replace old transformers, communities had to do that themselves ! Refused to build injection substation to increase distribution capacity! Refused to make prepaid meters readily available! Yet they want to return licence and collect free money! ![]() |
Randy100:Do you by chance stay in the North? Infact, all it takes for you to be kidnapped in some Northern villages is to have a relative who is a government worker. That's all! Let's not even start with the Kaduna-Abuja highway kidnappers! |
My first time commenting on this thread. Please permit me to address this misconception of gaming the system by fraudulent scammers. (Case Study : Admob and Latinhire) Has Google banned Nigerians from accessing Admob? No. If you have developed a mobile app that actually serves a purpose, can be of service to prospective users and can pass Google's Admob requirements. Kindly go ahead and make your money from Admob. Same with Adsense and other google ad revenue services. It's laughable seeing people (Nigerians are learners here compared to Indians) trying to game the system with empty apps and zero contents. Even mobile apps that have content sef Google removes them from playstore, let alone an empty apk file that people have placed ad banners and were expecting to make money from by self clicking. There's always a quality review system that will spit out any offender. Infact, Google doesn't need a quality team to catch your tricks, you give yourselves up when you are busy opening all sorts of thread on Nairaland and the internet on self-clicking methods. As for Latinhire, I fail to see how an individual will game the system. This is my first week there but from what I've seen so far they are not different from other sites I've worked with who have a quality assurance team in place to do reviews. There are also rules to abide by. You get kicked out when you continuously give answers that are rated 1 or 2. It takes the quality assurance team less to nothing to detect plagiarized answers. The way you are expecting to be paid for your answers is the same way the quality assurance team expects to be paid for every plagiarized answer they detect. So keep deceiving yourself if you are planning to game the system. Please let this issue of Nigerians on the platform just die on this particular page. It's not a healthy form of discussion for us, as many countries are also guilty of the same issue. |
Guestlander:I have my doubts. AJ fought an older version of Klitschko who might have had experience but lacked the firepower (in terms of punch) of his youth. Remember Fury also beat Klitschko before that match against AJ. AJ and Fury are also of the same age group, I see their fight going either way and like you said, it's definitely going to be a tough fight. |
zeenaman:I don't speak nor write horrible English yet I am quite good at Maths. There are no stats to back up your assertion as I have equally come across people who are Maths gurus and can speak and write English perfectly. The way Mathematics demand more effort and constant practice to be better at it is the same way English demands such requirements and ditto for any other subject. |
No one takes Adamu Garba serious! Those of us familiar with his antecedents on Twitter hardly take him serious. His brain functions like that of a six years old. |
philip0906:I reiterate it's quite straight forward. Questioning the accuracy of a method is part of science. Even at 100% efficiency, scientists will still question it's accuracy and reperfect the technique. That's the beauty of it. The phone you are using to type right now was quite crude years ago. philip0906:I have not mentioned the bible. Let's not go there. The bible can only be used to validate the bible! Too many inconsistencies and most importantly, there's no room for questioning obvious errors and illogicality. Please let's not even go there. |
philip0906:The method looks pretty straightforward and can be fine-tuned to be more accurate. Are there any other reliable and accurate technique of dating that you are aware of? If yes, please spill it here. |
philip0906:Google RadioCarbon dating! These things are taught as far back as secondary school! |
Technically, it would be hard to site a nuclear plant in the North due to most parts of the North being dry zones as the nuclear reactors need lots of water to operate, so it needs to be sited in a region where there's a lake or a river. Then again, an artificial lake/river can be created in the North if one must site a Nuclear plant in the North. |
I fail to see how this is a payback. It's a double win for Ada. She enjoyed your boyfriend and her dad got fresh p***y. Except she was framing Ada's dad for raping her, Ada seems to be the winner here. |
$500 million loan to broadcast FG propaganda and religion bias? Abegii! ![]() |
Commentor:Sorry, I don't have time for idiotic praise singers and a*slickers. From North to East to South to the West in Nigeria, there is hardly any leader worth commending. They are all the same thieves! Once again, what is all the raucous about an intersection with painted yellow lines? |
Why all this raucous about an intersection painted with yellow lines and snapped with high def camera? ![]() |
The only change IPPIS brought was shift the ability to embezzle using staff payroll cost from the various government agencies to IPPIS itself. In other words, the power to create ghost workers might have reduced drastically within the various agencies but increased astronomically within the staff of IPPIS. |
Just make the remunerations for a being a political leader less attractive. Deregistering these parties will serve no purpose, the name will change but the politicians will remain the same. |
I participated in that poll on twitter and I'm among the 13% that actually don't care. |
10% to get enrolled into the scheme. 10% of N8.5 million (N12.5 million for late comers) is N850000. How many civil servants have 850k (N1.25 million) waiting in their account and are level 12 and below? I am talking of original civil servants, not FG Agency workers that sometimes earn more than private companies in Nigeria. |
I don't feel like discussing the uselessness of the christian god in this issue. My empathy for this young girl's predicament overshadows the uselessness of the christian god. Sadly, she can hardly lead a normal life even if she gets released eventually. That baby/child will be a constant reminder of what she has been through in the hands of Islamic terrorists a.k.a Bokoo Harram. |
Yaaaaawwwnnn! |
Is it not the same diabolical people that are struggling and dying of hunger induced by this Next Level administration. You would expect then to direct their so called diabolical powers at the Nigerian leaders embezzling funds and rendering every one poor and unable to access basic amenities. No, they choose to instead diabolically attack their fellow Nigerian who is struggling and dying of hunger like them. Where is the logic there? Why do you think I should take your belief in these things serious when you can't diabolically attack these leaders and save is the stress? |
Seun, please implement a block button so that we don't get to stress ourselves over seeing idiotic comments from monikers like NwaAmikpe and some other nut jobs that have commented so far on this thread. They are also free to block me if they feel offended. Meanwhile, Rest Well Kobe Bryant! We're going to miss you! |
AerialMapper:I did. That was when I first knew him. Very smart chap. All these indomie generation kids saying Bobrisky has taken over, certainly were not self aware or even born then and can hardly recognise real talent. |
CSTR2:That side of the road does not need to be tarred, in fact, they should not be vehicular movement around there as it will be some sort of confusion to pilots when landing. |
Misleading title! Their salaries were not stopped. It was only moved to the IPPIS platform. No more direct payments as all payments will be coming from IPPIS, in other words, those not registered already on IPPIS will not be paid. |
berryace007: Talkwisdom:These things are happening. It's very much possible. Go to YouTube you will find a lot of undercover documentaries on prostitution. You will understand that Zainab Lawal's case is child's play. The housemaid issue in Middle Eastern countries like Oman is over real! There is even an app, in arabic though, where maids are traded like slaves just the way jiji or olx work. The maids/slaves are listed with their attributes and people bid for them on this appas if they are objects. The maid/slave issue in these Middle Eastern countries is normal lifestyle for them just the way NEPA taking light is normal lifestyle to us. |
