Local government elections are conducted by state electoral commissions. They are not conducted by INEC. The Kaduna State Government is purchasing electronic voting machines for the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (SIECOM) to use in conducting the local government elections in Kaduna on May 12th. According to them, it will be the first time that electronic voting machines are used in Nigeria.

Did you not even wonder why all of a sudden the entire states in Nigeria seems to be conducting LG elections. This had never happened since 1999. What are they afraid of?

I would be surprised if the figure is not up to 100%. Our politicians don't even reside here. Imagine a Governor finishes his tenure and part of his benefit is a home overseas. Those that will even want to stay will change their mind when they see the Exodus.

I see now that kids are much on NL, its good though. For a president to win an election especially in the Obj era, you need the governors to help you rig the elections. You can verify this. Tinubu was rigging the elections in favour of Obj during federal elections before they fell apart.

One of the reasons GEJ lost was because northern governors and the entire northern PDP structures worked against him. Imagine how can kano get those ridiculous figures, were there no PDP members in the state. If only the PDP members decide to vote, shouldn't the result be different.

In Nigeria, state governors are dictators. Only federal govt practice any form of democracy in Nigeria.

In almost all the states in Nigeria, the party of the Governors always win all the Local govt election.

This is the reason I always kick against state police. You can imagine what is going on with the little powers they have and someone is saying they should increase it.

This clearly shows you don't know anything about the Bendel state. How is Edo more Western? The Urhobo language has some similarity with Benin language, the Itshekiri can perfectly understand the yoruba language. And Benin is in Edo state while Itshekiri is in Delta state. As at when the idea to split the state issue came up, the then oba of Benin rejected because he saw it as a way of reducing his kingdom. He only later agreed because he was convinced that this was a way to bring more federal allocation to the areas. Benin and Delta was not split because of tribe or ethnicity. Anybody insinuating this is trying to confuse the young generations of Nigerians.

There's no country that can solve unemployment all over the world, unemployment rate can only be reduced.Using Nigeria as an example,first thing I will do is remove all those old chimps at the very top,who are clueless and yet very corrupt,and employ young,vibrant, intelligent and updated people.
Fix our refineries, instead of exporting our petroleum products for refining,and importing them back.
Invest more on technical skills and acquisitions, education,and ofcourse revamp our agricultural build companies,etc. These can serve as a means of employment.

We should not deceive ourselves, solving unemployment requires us first tackling our population and get an original database of all Nigerians. Every one having a national ID and our birth rate should be drastically reduced. This will help the leaders plan properly with the lean resources. The only problem with this is that the north will reject such policy. This is why some of us believe the only way Nigeria can succeed is for us to split the country.

Most words are pronounced wrongly. Even the word "market" is usually pronounced the wrong way, but you know communication is when you speak and the other person understands you. As far as we understand ourselves then there is no problem.

I don't know which part of Nigeria you stay but pls don't deceive yourself, its very easy to get a gun in Nig. The only problem you might face getting one is the fund. For example if you need one, join any of these local cult group and let the leader know that you need a gun and wait for his response. Its even more easier in the Niger delta part of nig. Gun control does not put guns in the hand of the criminals because whether you like it or not the criminals already have a gun and means of getting one, rather it puts guns in the hands of the helpless citizens who will be at the mercy of these criminals if something is not done.

The truth is that we all need a gun in this country. Only shallow minded people have not figured this out. Some years ago a legislator stood up in the to describe how armed men cross the Nigerian border from Chad and hold Nigerians hostage for WEEKS, rapping the females while the males are used as laborers. You can imagine the trauma being suffered.

The question I kept asking myself is where are the law enforcement officers?

A governor has over 60 police officers protecting him. How many officers do we even have altogether? If they want the police to protect the rich, fine but at least give the poor the weapons to defend themselves when the need arises.

The reasons they keep giving for not doing this does not water.

I would be surprised if the president don't know the current pressing problems of Nigeria. Solving it is probably what you're asking. I would have listed easy things he could do but its useless. Buhari does not need such advice and moreover he does not listen to them. He act at his own time.

What I think Nigerians want are:

1. Fuel price reduced to 142 or lower
2. An alternative person to Buhari (not Atiku) should at least start campaigning
3. Unemployment drastically reduced
4. Lia Mohammed should reduce his lies abeg
