That's why I've maintained on various forums that if Nigeria wants to fight corruption, only the receiver of the bribe should be punished. This will make those that gave bribe come out openly to speak out since we know most of the time it is the "police(receiver) that asks for the bribe, while the giver gives for fear of his life and property".

Secondly whistle blowing system should be encouraged and whistle blowers should be protected by law. In Nigeria whistle blowers are persecuted. I'm sure the officers that exposed Buratai have been dealt with as promised by the government.

What!? I can't believe I read this. This will have effect on everybody, even the common man on the street. The unfortunate scenario is that the effect would be a negative one to the southerners. The only thing is that it will take time for you to realise this. Do you know what it took Obasanjo to correct this error. Nice one, but I believe there's nothing wrong in phones replacing radio and alarm, you can't always go about carrying a radio with you(for the leggedize Benz people), but with your smart phones you can walk about while listening your fav radio stations.

Even for reading, I think I prefer eBook to paper book, due to the fact that on a paper book, I'd have to start opening d pages one after the other(and most time the page might be stuck together), and I'd also have to fold a piece of the last page I read last to know where I stopped, but with your phone eBook. just scroll through the pages, and you don't need to mark where you stopped for its there waiting o...


And don't we all just love taking pictures with our phones, no need to go to a photo studio to take pictures, and op not everyone is rich enough to get a digital camera.

I believe phones having all these is the best and its saves both time and money just having them.

Please in case no one has told you: Reading ebooks is very bad for your eye sight. If we are talking about 5,6 or 10 pages, fine. But when you are talking of reading a 600 or 1000 pages books and you are doing it electronically, you are damaging your eyesight. I'm currently suffering from the side effect of this. I can't even advise my enemy to do such. I was warned then but I don't just know how it degenerated although I took the advice serious. If you have the means always print out what you are to read in hard copy.

1. Accountability stems from responsibility. This is being responsible for your actions and inaction. Were it not for Rochas, this administration was still refusing to take responsibility for leading the country to recession. So much for an accountable government.

You may be correct in your submission. That should not stop us from giving credit to his style on Governance thus far. Mind you, its not about visible projects, its more about style of Governance. Visiting project sites unannounced, regular retreats and town hall meetings, ensuring reasonable quality of executed project... these is more than just expending monies my brother. All those other stuff you mentioned: visiting project sites, town hall bla bla bla are also performed by the so called governors that have been voted out by their people as failures. What I'm saying is that the difference between lagos administrators and other states is the money available to execute world class project.

Now don't get me wrong, you are free to praise any administrator you like but I still maintain that with the available resources that lagos has compared to work been done by government, I rate them poor. That is not to say lagos is not better than other states but using the executed project as a yardstick in comparing the individual governors to me is wrong.

You can't place a ban without creating an agency to enforce the ban. If we use Ekiti as an example, when Fayose placed a ban on them, the Nigeria police refused to enforce the ban hence the governor had to create an agency to enforce the ban. I don't see local governments having the capacity to create such agencies except they have to give it to thugs like they always do. I even know of some local government that already placed the ban and the order is not obeyed.

The bolded is what many uninformed people don't know. They talk as if these men are spending their money repairing the state. Since I've been in Lagos even in the military era, lagos administrators have always been praised because they performed visible project. That is not to say they are not thieves.

I've rarely even talked on this chibok issue. I just watch and observe. Sometimes I wonder if we Nigerians decide on purpose to behave like fools just to achieve a purpose. I've stayed with these northern guys for quite some years at Idi-araba lagos and from my observation, most of them that schooled in the north could speak good english, even Buhari himself could speak english when he was at their level of education. While I was in the NYSC camp, I never saw a northerner who did not understand or speak english. Yes they could have the northern intonation but they spoke english. I'm now wondering at what point in time the education degenerated to a level where SS3 student cannot express themselves in english.

I don't really know the population strength of these ethnic groups because different media and academic reports have mentioned them as being the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria.
This is the major reason for bringing this question here to gain more knowledge. Which ethnic group is the 4th largest in Nigeria.

Go back and study the history of Nigeria properly. This time without missing any detail. You will find the fourth largest ethnic group
