Actually, retention of Ekweremadu as DSP in an APC-led government is an aberration. Saraki should find a way to ease him out. He has to think of his political future. |

APC government and demolition are like.......Hmmmm. In Lagos State, Ambode will demolish 800 houses to make way for his lofty dream of a 4th Mainland bridge. In Imo State, Okorocha is demolishing people's houses and stores on major streets and roads for a supposed road expansion project without a prospect of paying compensation to the affected persons while many bad roads are littered all over the State begging for his attention. IIrony! In a recent media chat, he stated unequivocally that any person or group of people, or an Organization whose properties were affected by the on-going demolition exercise would not receive compensation from government. It is a known fact that this Governor does not obey or respect court orders neither does he adhere to the rule of law. And yet it is the courts that kept him on that seat. From the foregoing, resort to the court by the victims of his demolition spree will be an exercise in futility. And now, El Rufai have also joined the demolition train. Which APC Governor is next? |

How did this unregistered women group know that Stella Oduah does not have a female maid in her employ? Did they live with or even associated with her during her 'light-finger' days as Minister to know this fact? These women know something that ordinary Nigerians do not know and should be rounded up by EFCC for interrogation because the said Stella Oduah did not allude to this fact during her denial of the allegation. |

EKHA have been known to be an appendage or extension of the executive arm. Really unfortunate! Saraki and Ekweremadu, including two others will be arraigned in Court tomorrow for allegedly forging Senate Rules which ensured the emergence of Saraki as the Senate President. It is being speculated that the Presidency is behind the travails of the duo for political reasons. For this reason, the National Assembly has declared 'war' on the Presidency. Was the Senate Standing Rules forged? Is Saraki, Ekweremadu and the two others culpable? This is a question the courts will answer based on evidence placed before them. It is too early for the Senators to heat up the polity unnecessarily by pointing accusing fingers at the Presidency. Assigning political undertones to the case undermines the principle of separation of powers in a democracy. The parties should sheath their swords and allow peace to reign. |

With the recent revelation that Burutai owns properties in Dubai which he allegedly acquired with his meagre earnings, corruption now knows no bounds. Burutai was once a Director of Procurement in the Nigerian Army. His income certainly cannot afford the expensive houses traced to him. |

This is infantile. Very childish. Fayose is loosing it. He should be scheduled for psychiatric evaluation ASAP! But seriously, a mere State Governor who was even rigged into office should not be allowed to disparage the President of the country and his family at will without repercussions. This is no longer playing the opposition but outright contempt for the office of the President. The earlier the demented fellow is called to order, the better. |

Releasing the amount of loot recovered without the names of the looters is a disservice to Nigerians. It means nothing. Lai Mohammed should keep the list to himself. This government is not yet serious about confronting corruption head-on. There is no law that forbids the President from releasing the name of the looters unless government have something to hide. |

PDP was in power for 16 years and did not deem it fit to build a hospital beftting of Metuh's status that he now wants to sojourn abroad for an undisclosed ailment to join the numerous other Nigerians enjoying medical tourism. This is aggravated assault. The Peter Ethan should, without delay, initiate criminal proceedings against the Seyi of a comedian by reporting the incident to the appropriate security agency. He can also claim damages in a civil court. If he is indigent and cannot afford the services of a lawyer, he can approach the Legal Aid of Nigeria which offers pro bono legal services to indigent persons. |

Owerri in the top 10? Tell me another story. On what criteria did this Op place Owerri in the top ten? Have he visited Owerri recently, or even at all? What infrastructure is he talking about? You do not judge or define infrastructural development in a State or City from mere pictures of artist impressions posted on social media or in newspapers but by actual physical visits to those cities to see things for yourself. |
