Just three months? And only one month LG salary? Mehnn, you guys are lucky. Have you been to Imo State? I do not think you have. In that State, workers are owed up to eight months and the Governor does not bat an eye lid about it. Instead, he erroneously and unabashedly claims that he is not owing any worker and even thumps his chest and says that he has paid the civil servants to date! Such bare-faced lies!

Sometimes I do wonder what you people gain by all these deceitful posts on social network all in a bid to discredit Mr Okorocha. I visited he tunnel and the standard is very good and drainage very well constructed. Anyone in doubt should visit and see for himself. The tunnel has an underground tank for water storage during rains and installed pumping system that pumps excess water to existing road drainage in case of flooding as seen on the OP's photos. Underground tunnels everywhere do get flooded after heavy rainfall and installed pumps used in pumping out the excess flood water.

Let's take a look at these flooded tunnels in UK and Saudi Arabia.

You did not visit the 'tunnel'. If you did, you will certainly not write what you up there. That needless project has caused, and is causing the citizens great discomfort as a lot of manhours is wasted everyday by commuters trying to navigate their way round the so called 'tunnel'. Everything should not be politicised.

You do not live in Owerri. As a matter of fact, I do not think that you live anywhere within Imo State or knows the antecedents of Rochas Okorocha for that matter, because if you do, you will know that for the past five years and threee months he has been on the saddle in the State, he has not commissioned a single project. All the roads or whatever structure he has so far constructed or built are in great state of disrepair. Maybe, that is why he does not commission them.

Students are to bring their parents tax payment receipt to identify them as indigenes of Abia State. Does the school not have record of students who are from the State or is the receipt meant to determine if their parents pay or paid tax? Hmmmm.

Yeah! Saved N1.4 trillion and so what? It is not an achievement if such colossal amount is not channelled into meaningful venture that will impact on the welfare of the masses.

Frank Edoho probably has a short memory. He goofed when he said that he has not acted in any movie. I have watched a film where he starred and acted like a dumb fellow. Maybe, that is why he has decided to forget that he has ever acted in any film.

I hope he will also be prosecuted for forgery.

Oh well, in Nigeria, anything goes. Dogara has quoted Section 30 of the Legislative Act to suit his purpose. But he should be reminded that legislative privilege does not extend to budget padding which is a crime. Dogara has by words and actions overwhemingly confirmed that he indeed padded the 2016 national budget for his own selfish interest. EFCC should do the needful. Privilege does not cover stealing and fraud. Dogara cannot and should not be encouraged to become or turn to pen robber overnight. He is not an Accountant. I read somewhere that he is a lawyer.

This is the worst team of Govt officials and Ministers we have had in recent past in Nigeria and it took PMB over 6 months to find these imbes who keep fighting themselves internally while the economy is nose diving.
Buhari needs to urgently overhaul his appointees to move this country forward, we cant continue like this

Why should a Minister conduct all appointments into parastatals under the Ministry of Education without consulting his deputy and comparing notes on the candidates; this same Minister advised the President to fire University Vice Chancellors whose tenures have not expired without informing him that each university has a governing council established by ACT of parliament and ended up embarrassing the President who had to reverse the sacks.

The Adamu is very incompetent and is just fumbling and wobbling in the Education Ministry. Buhari should reverse this appointment and do the right thing in the interest of Education in the country. He should also fire that beret-wearing Sports Minister for embarassing Nigeria in the comity of nations before the olympics. Buhari should show that he is really in-charge of affairs in this country.

unfortunately, the said Minister knows next to nothing about Eudcation. I learnt that he is a journalist. It is infradig to appoint a journalist over a Professor to head the Education Ministry. But then, this is Nigeria. Anything goes. To worsen matters, the Professor did not deem it fit to reject the appointment for being beneath him. However, I understand that everybody wants to remain relevant in the scheme of things. In that wise, I will not blame the Professor much.

37 of the 143 Universities in Nigeria are running unaccredited courses. NUC should be proactive and endeavour to streamline courses taught at the numerous Universties in the country.

Corruption have taken permanent residence in the country. It is a misnomer to think that the current war on this scourge is all-embracing. Jibrin battled for nothing!
