the case is different because yes Adams was at lest 70% popular in Edo State and the people were vigorously reminded of Ize Iyamu’s role in the failed Lucky Igbinedion administration so all that worked for good to make whether Adams did to make Obaseki governor - but that is not the case today

Oshomole may have been able to pull this through easily if

the day Oshomole lost the battle and Ize Iyamu was rejected was the day Obaseki got disqualified -That was the day even Oshomole made Obaseki a hero and someone worth dying for (whether he merited it or not)

Go to the streets of Benin City (Edo South) - run a random sample of at least 50 people who are eligible to vote from like 10 random streets. Do this same process in Ekpoma (edo central) and Auchi (edo north) and you will be exposed to the hard shocking truth of Obaseki”s water tight support among the Edo people
