Willzkid: These are some of the annoying things that people do on Nairaland * quoting other people's full posts only to respond to a line or two of it * quoting posts without actually commenting *Sometimes I hate comments like "how did this make front page?", especially when the topics are good enough
Add urs, what annoys u on NL? checking usernames, i hate it when people twist names of stars as their handles. It makes me see them as dumb since they can't think outta their own boxes.. Example..wizkid and willzkid OR smallville=smallville4life
People assuming the world revolves around them and that they are the only group of people in the entire world.
and i hate it wen people alwys strive to stay relevant and sacred of loosing their handle since they thought it's too important to loose or the world revolves around them when in the real sense, nobody gives a fucck... Example..Mrs.Chima=Mrs..Chima and Mrs.Chima2 OR killz=sexkillz or Sisi_killz eledalo: BEAF ^^and the only thing i'm proud of abt Nairaland are straight faces like yo! Smallville4live: I hate it when people just insult people. >>>No one forced you to comment on any post, just because you have the internet you just decide to do anyhow with it. you can see people giving ¤¤nonsense¤¤ responses. Same we do to others, that's what others will do to your own thread too<<< and i hate holy-pass individuals! |

cryptic: I think it has gotten to the threshold for Nigeria!!! There has to be a revolution...Think about this...What about a man that has got a family of 6 and earns 18,000 per month...Imagine he has 5 girls and 1 boy that happens to be the last...How is he gonna fend for his family without his daughters prostituting? I weep for Nigeria...OUA'S case is peculiar
A cousin bought the form for 2350 and now she has to pay almost 4000 bucks to check her results. Is there no regulatory body in our systems anymore? Where is Nigeria headed? I think it is time we head for the streets and carry out some national cleansing by shedding blood...IT HAS REALLY GOTTEN TO THAT STAGE!!! stop running mouth here. Nobody needs your family issues here. A man earning 18k shld knw best not yet to marry or have kids. U think it's by force? Who and what are u carrying along when dead? U wanna blame Jonathan now? Education is expensive mate, check other countries, who says they aint dropping out too? |
Politics › Re: Nigeria's GDP By Sector - Oil Isn't The Major Source Of Our Income by KINGwax(m): 5:18am On Jul 06, 2012 |
ballabriggs: This is erroneous.
Crude oil contributes over 70% of Nigeria's foreign exchange. For an import dependent economy, Oil is the life wire of the economy.
Secondly, it is the earnings from oil which drives other activities that form the component of GDP.
Don't be deceived, take away the oil and your economy is doomed.
You can't get the true picture by mere viewing such data without an analysis. yeah, if i wasn't sane enough to undstnd dt before the oil bloom Nigeria was doing fine in Agriculture, i would have believed you. What fuckin things has the oil been driving except enriching the corrupts' pockets? Did it actually provide d baskets used in farm, legs the villagers used in trekking, did it provide the loans the farmers collected wit interest or d ones that was jes news and was never seen, did it provide d bad roads and difficulties entailed in getting their goods to town? Education › Re: NUC Suspends Caritas, Lead City & Tansian Universities' Licenses by KINGwax(m): 10:12am On Jul 05, 2012 |
rhymz: I am so surprise that most of these church run schools did not make the list. Apart from the fact that many of the schools did not meet the NUC's operational requirements, the way these schools are run leave a lot to be concern about. Schools like Convenant and Redeemer Universities should have been on the list, their owners probably have NUC officials as members, little wonder they did not show on the list. Nigerian private Universities are a joke and a mockery of what a good religious run University should be. Schools where very unqualified people hold the post of VC all because they own the school, they arbitrarily choose pastors and evangelists to head sensitive positions in the school management. People who hitherto have had no prior experience in running a University are allowed to make very humanly demeaning rules fashioned by their intolerant religious sense of right and wrong; little wonder you go to such schools and all you hear is how the management busies themselves with laws that add little or no progress to the academic development of such schools. Imagine after paying truckloads of cash to educate your kid only for one to hear that s/he had been rusticated from school cos he did not attend the assemble with his bible, imagine making christian religious study a major course for a person studying medicine, engineering, law, and other sciences. If you fail this religious course, you are forced to write them or else you will not graduate. In convenant you are not even allowed to wear a jersey, own a camera phone, have independent academic thoughts or even disagree intellectually with the authorities, yet it is a University. Is there any difference between these so-called church run Universities and rehabilitation centres? Are the students there being taught what they came there to know or what the school Church authorities want them to know. Why should a muslim student be forced to observe prayers different from his own or even study christian religious studies as a major even when his program should have no bearing on such study. Are the NUC aware of this arbitrariness in the way these church gangstars operate?? As if the mass indoctrinations in their churches are not enough they have to still drag it to the school? We want investment in our education but not these ones abeg!! Gone are the days when churches make claims of running any business outside the church as a way to help the poor; that argument has become stale and redundant, they are all profit driven with little or no quality education as they like to claim. Having beautiful buildings inside an enclosed landmass space does not transcend to quality education. NUC should also take that aspect seriously, there is too much arbitrariness in the way these bible wielding conmen run these schools and put a price tag on education. you don't wanna knw how glad i was when i found out nobody liked your post. It implies we actually have intelligent people on nairaland. Only a fool will like your post. I don't knw, how they forced a muslim student to attend a 'strictly' christian school. Your concern is what i cannot fathom, your points too. |
