Nigeria Army ll soon show you what war is all about.....
You and your kinsmen will wallow in agony and pain after Nigeria Army must have dealt with you and your fellow idiots.
If Nigeria can stand and deal with Jihadists called Boko Haram mercilessly despite their die hard doctrine, Ipobs and militants(Their communities) ll be dealt with like ragtags they are.
Bring it on.... Odi ll be a child play compare to what is about to befall you and your communities. I think you forget that the Nigerian Army never wins any war without massive international support. The only reason that the Nigerian Army managed to get anywhere with Boko Haram was because Chad, Niger Republic and Cameroon joined the fight. It is much better for Buhari to call the Niger Delta militants to dialogue than try to fight them because such a fight is not winnable. The militants don't even have to fight. All the have to do is to keep sabotaging oil intallations on their lands to cripple the oil industry. So anyone advocating fighting them should perish the idea and encourage Buhari to call them to a round table meeting. |

Even the surname of the Ndoki guys report is 'nwa-Igwe' I could tell you what that name means in Igbo, can you tell me what it means in Ijaw? BTW, why did your Ijaw brethren who left the coastal areas to head inland drop their Ijaw names to adopt Igbo surnames? APC supporters read that Kanu is heading for Kuje prison and were rejoicing that Kanu is going to suffer but they didn't know that the ruling was in Kanu's favour. Kanu can now recieve visitors, have access to his legal team and communicate with outside world which was impossible when he was kept incommunicado by the DSS. I'm not sure if the court actually struck out the 6 charges against him. That part is still a bit confusing |

bakynes: Be reasonable here, freedom of speech is still restricted. So if I say I will bomb the US and kill everybody in the state of California on radio or TV. You don't think the next minute I will be talking to the FBI. When you threaten the state that's not freedom of speech anymore. If he had called Nigeria a zoo or Buhari a terrorist that can still be pardonable but when you threaten to take a section of a sovereign nation away to from another country and threaten its citizens by saying you will procure arms to fight her then my brother that is an issue of urgent National security. If you say you are going to bomb California and kill people, you may picked up. But as soon as as the authorities find out that it's just mere talking, you will be let go in a few hours since you can't be charged for 'talking'. Nobody can be charged to court in a democratic country for talking or making a threat by talking. So it doesn't matter what Kanu called Nigeria or Buhari or the fact he solicited for guns, it is still 'talking'. It isn't until he acts that you can charge him. That's why the case around Kanu is baseless. Nobody can be charged in Nigeria for making verbal threats, wether it be against people or against the nation, it is not in the constitution |

Ordinary Racist comments on social platforms they pick you up. You think it's coz our government here gives us free hand to say anything we like, you think that's how it is done everywhere all in the name of free speech. You don't know what is happening in the world. Do you know how many far right organisations in Ameica are calling for Obamas head the destruction of the USA? Do you know how many anti-Monachist are calling for the head of the queen in Britain? I even once saw on CNN people in a park close to Buckingham palace openly call for the queens death in front of the British Police . During the war in Iraq, British Muslims regularly held protest marches in London calling for the bombing of Britain, the introduction of sharia law and terrorism in Britain because of Britains involvement in the war. All of these things are on YouTube and online. Nobody was arrested because by law, they are entitled to say those things. As for racism, in the Nigerian context, I don't think we have any laws as regards that since Nigeria is almost 100% black. Nnandi Kanu is allowed under his right of free speech to say anything he likes. A person cannot be convicted in any democratic country for what they say with their mouth, they can only be convicted by their actions. |

NgeneUkwenu: A lot of noise have been made by the PDP and other "patriotic" Nigerians about President Buhari not respecting the "Rule of Law in the fight against Corruption, "disobedience of Court orders and other manufactured lies they dish out daily to protect the looters.
However after some retrospection by yours sincerely, I have now come to support this side of the argument by the PDP, that indeed President Buhari should tone down and see the benefit and results of fighting Corruption, the PDP way;
1. Abdur Rasheed Maina, the maelstrom that sucked up N195 billion pension fund, has escaped out of the country to enjoy his loot in a small exotic Island because the rule of law provided a cover for him to go for medical treatment from which he never returned for trial.
2. Farouk Lawan demanded a $3 million bribe. The rule of law was invoked to permit his fundamental human rights. He got away with it. Today, the trial is dead.
3. Mohammed Abacha has a case of N446 billion hanging on his neck. The rule of law guaranteed that he walks free and enjoys his loot to the fullest. Nothing has been heard of the matter till today.
4. $6 billion fuel subsidy scandal has been swept under the carpet and all the criminals that shared this loot are walking free because the rule of law says so.
5. Peter Odili plundered the Rivers state treasury to the tune of about $500 million. The rule of law protected and gave him an everlasting immunity from prosecution so that the man can be left in peace to enjoy his loot.
6. Dan Etete and his gang of seven or more thieves shared $1.1 billion in the celebrated Malabu oil scandal. The rule of law ensured that they walked free and have all relocated out of Nigeria.
7. Abubakar Kigo and his gang of five stole almost N33 billion police pension fund. The rule of law gave them a feeble slap on the wrist with 2 years jail term and N750,000 fine.
8. Steve Oronsaye, the former Head of Service of the Federation was found culpable in mismanaging and diverting N123 billion and the rule of law has made sure that the matter never saw the light of the day again.
9. Sambo Dasuki, after mismanaging, looting, diverting and sharing $2.1 billion arms purchase money to his friend and cronies is asking to be let out to travel abroad for medical treatment because the rule of law guarantees him that privilege. A trip if he be allowed to make will ensure he never returns to the country to face trial.
10.The PDP and lovers of corruption are asking and demanding for the release of Olisa Metuh from EFCC detention because the rule of law guarantees him freedom for corruptly enriching himself. Olisa Metuh, a man who collected over N400 million of arms purchase money for his personal enjoyment to the detriment of our soldiers and innocent Nigerians who are killed daily by Boko Haram.
These criminals still enjoy their loot while many workers fo unpaid.
Whose interest does the RULE OF LAW serve? The rule of law is: Innocent until proven guilty in a competent court of law You don't like it, tough luck! Nobody gets to pick and choose what part of the constitution they observe or don't observe |

They even told you that their ancestral name is 'Ndi Oki' or 'Oki people' in Igbo before you guys came and 'Ijawnised' their name to Ndoki. I'm quite surprised that you have not tried to claim Ikwere and Ogonis as Ijaw. You claimed Opobo founded by an Igbo man, you claimed Andonis, you tried to claim Obigbo/Oyigbos they chased you away. You also came after Porthacourt even though you know that the original site of the city was called 'Iguocha' (or Igweocha to some Igbos) I'm starting to think that Ijaw people don't know who they are. Eddygourdo: I find it absolutely shameful that people are so partisan to their DNA. They could sell their mothers just to stand right with their idiosyncrasies. This country is greater than any party, the development of the country should surpass any desire by each party faithful to be supreme.
Any right thinking patriotic Nigerian knows corruption is a major issue hampering our development. Even with a clueless government Nigerian will still perform averagely if corruption was stamped out. This should be the main worry of a Nigerian. Thank God we now have a government which is hell bent on chasing, humiliating corrupt elements. Yet people are grumbling. Accusing the President of selective vendetta as though common sense has become extinct.
Please I apc should double more efforts to chase down every pdp member from past governments and collect our yams, such retrieved yams should make up 40% of out missing yams.
Please in 2019, other opposition parties should rise and challenge at national level because the Nigerian electorate has a more genuine love to opposition than the incumbent.
Please whichever opposition than wins in 2019 should chase and harass all apc member from past government to collect our stolen yams, such retrieved yams in combination of that gotten from the pdp should amount to 80% of our missing yams.
Enough of this accusation that the corruption fight should be a cross board, nobody fights his family members, that job should be left for perceived enemies which in this case is the opposition in Nigerian political sphere.
Why are we the populace who didn't gain a kobo from their kleptomania complain of selective blah blah blah, we keep talking of rule of law yet we forget our judicial system is poo (this doesn't imply we forgo the law). Apc is simply sowing a seed they will reap it's fruit in kind one day. Rather as good Nigerian we should support them because we see the big picture and not their crude methods.
Nigeria must rise, corruption must be killed, I advocate the death penalty, I advocate death by stoning, I advocate any measure that can curb out corruption wherever it may exist. Today it's the turn of the pdp, let them burn, let them produce our yams, it shall be in similar vein that the apc shall burn one day and produce our yams. I shall support all such efforts till the tyranny of corruption and lawlessness is wiped out of my country.
We have no other country, imagine if there was a refugee situation in Nigeria, with our current global image as theives, rapists and law breakers. Who will accept us or give us laxity. Just as is being offered to terrorism inclined arabs.
Nigeria must better, no matter whose ox is gored. This mindset of yours is the reason why Nigeria and indeed black Africa is not moving forward. If Nigeria wants to be great, it pays to be pragmatic. Nigeria should look at what other great countries did and are still doing to be great. For one thing, Nigeria is running the wrong system of Government that is stifling the people. We claim to be a country but we are not. While corruption is a major issue for Nigeria and should be stamped out, it is not Buharis job to fight corruption. It is Buharis job to strengthen the institutions that ensure accountability. If a person has looted the funds, let the person be charged to court and Buhari should keep his nose out of the judicial system. I actually expected Buhari to set up anti-corruption courts by now and introduce new laws to strengthen EFCC and ICPC. Instead, what we have seen is the hounding of mostly people who have an axe to grind with the president and a president who came on national tv to tell the world he has no regard for the rule of law. We do not have a people's oriented constitution, we do not operate the right system of Goverment, we do not have checks and balances,we don't have national cohesion, we don't even have a comprehensive economic policy. What we have is a highly divisive president who has shown that he doesn't know what he is doing. If we want a better Nigeria, we must return to the regional system of government let the people manage their affairs. It is not for Buhari to manage my affairs for me, his role should be purely supervisory. As long as Nigeria keeps operating this unitary for of Government that makes Buhari and Abuja all powerful, Nigeria is headed nowhere no matter how many people Buhari locks up. |

This isn't intended as a bash thread whatsoever. For research purposes, I seek to find out why the IPOBians are so hateful and wish I'll on everyone else.
The Igbo people are enterprising, hardworking and unrelenting... as in, real sharp guys! A trait which has led them to spread across Nigeria and even beyond her shores.
For every enterprising Igbo man/woman, Nigeria has provided a market, and a platform to succeed. There's no nook or cranny in Nigeria that you'll go to and not find an Igbo person doing business or other ventures. For every good produced, there are over 170m people to market it to.
Non Igbo States Have Helped More in the Development of Igbo Talents Than Have Igbo States. The best and most successful Igbo people were born and raised outside of Igbo land. The environment you grow in goes a long way in influencing what you may become 90% of the time. Nigeria has been accommodating and has horned the skills of many Igbo athletes, sharpened academicians, and has given them the room to blossom! You may argue that they made it simply because they are Igbo blooded, but I ask, why aren't the Azikiwes, the Ojukwus, Mikels, the NOI, P squares, to list but a few coming out straight from Anambra in droves? Or aren't they Igbo blooded as well? Truth is, Lagos in particular has done more for the Igbos than has all SE states put together. Thousands of Igbos slaughtered in 1945 Thousands more slaughtered in 1953 Over 50,000 slaughtered in 1966 alone Over 3 million killed 1967 to 1970 Man you are right, Nigeria has given the Igbos a lot indeed! |
