I'm an indigenous born Igbo man. If you say that I'm a Nigerian, well Lugard said this even before you so it is open for debate.

So January 15th changed Nigeria? How come those who later took over haven't managed to chage it back in 50 years?

How did people move from Lagos island to mainland before the construction of third mainland bridge, eko bridge, Carter bridge since its all water...
Canoe and boats

This picture was the good old days of Nigeria when the British were still in charge. Then Nigerians took over and wrecked the place
PoliticsRe: Top, SOUTH SOUTH DOES NOT EXIST----GEN ACHUZIE by kingzizzy: 10:30am On Jan 16, 2016
I laugh at people who say they are South-South. A mere coinage that came out in the Mid 90's. If they had called themselves 'The southern minorities' it would have made more sense. I wonder what they were called before then? East-East?
PoliticsRe: ''The North Is A Poverty Trap'' - Shettima by kingzizzy: 10:17am On Jan 16, 2016
The North caused their region to be poor. With the huge solid minerals in the north and its Agricultural potential, the North should not be poor. But because of their inordinate ambition to have power, they forgot that it is those who control the economy that have the real power. Today, no international investor is willing to step foot in the North to help them develop their resources due to incessant sectarian strife. All the political power in the world will not help the north catch up with the southern economy.

Havent you realised that it really may not concern you why the efik may want to fraternise with ijaws? And vice-versa?
As an Igbo man, I have no problem with anyone fraternising with anyone. What I have a problem with is that when I want to fraternise, someone will come from nowhere and start shouting 'SS'. We Igbos have much closer ties to the Efiks. We have shared borders for thousands of years. An Ijaw man doesn't know where Efik land is. But when Igbos and Efiks want to do something together, an Ijaw man like Tonyebacarnista will come out shouting 'we are SS!'. Laughable. People should stop speaking outside their ethnic group

Nigeria = 102 year old British arrangement

Biafra = failed igbo arrangement

Igbo, Hausa, Ijaw, etc = natural arrangement

SS = Natural + Consensual arrangement
Oh really? When did this consensual 'SS' agreement take place? On Abachas presidential table?

Leave Dearpreye make him de arm the IPOB. They know me very well that I'm not the pushover type. People like Deapreye will be transferred to Owerri if he so wish to be a Biafran(hehe), but SS and Niger Delta shall move on. During the civil war there were people like that(about 0.1%) and they were dealt with by the people after Biafran toops were sacked in Ijawland.

The fact remains that Biafra is an Igbo arrangement and shall remain so. No South South will join whether or not anybody have any personal interest. Specifically, no inch of Ijawland will be part of it.
So Biafra is an Igbo arrangement? And South-South is who's arrangement? You people accuse the Igbos of grabbing the lands of the southern minorities, but with so called South-South you have grabbed the lands of more than 30 ethnic nationalities in the south of Nigeria including Igbos. You are doing the very same thing to other nationalities you accuse the Igbos of. How can an Ijaw man who has no connection with an Efik man start talking about a non existent brotherhood? Does the Urohbo Man know who the Ogoja man is? So where is this south-South you people are talking about?

As much as I remember Uwazuruike saying he will issue a certain Biafran passport, I'm not sure if he ever did. To have raised 500 milion it means that he issued hundreds of thousands of these booklets. So how come I have never seen any? Has anyone actually laid eyes on this booklet? This story has to be fake!

I hate y you igbos keep doing this to ourselves. First and foremost, the SS has no plans to become a minority with any other country. Its either Nigeria or Niger Delta Republic. All your intentions of coverting SS is for selfish reasons.

There are Turkmen in Syria but does that make them Turkish? NO!... Igbo speaking people can exist in any part of the world, that doesn't mean they must be drawn into Biafra.
Its Nigeria or Niger Delta.
IGBOs please stop deluding yourselves n stop being greedy
I think before you make a statement like that, you had better ask the Igbo sub-groups like the Anioma people,Etches,Ndoki etc who are in your so called Niger-Delta what they want in the event of Nigeria breaking up. You might just be surprised that most of them would prefare to follow their Igbo brethren into Biafra than to stay in Nigeria or any Niger-Delta Republic
PoliticsRe: If Biafra Had Won The War by kingzizzy: 4:02pm On Dec 07, 2015
If Ojukwu had won the war, Biafra would probably been the leading economic power in Africa by now. I say this because Ojukwu would not have tolerated corruption even for a second. Ojukwu was someone who never liked money. The evidence is in the fact that even though Ojukwus father was one of richest men in Africa, Ojukwu rejected his father money and joined the Nigerian Army. How many of us would have joined the Nigerian army if we had been born as Dangotes first son?
PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu Wanted One Nigeria Before He Change His Mind by kingzizzy: 3:49pm On Dec 07, 2015
Even Ojukwu once believed in 'one Nigeria'. But after witnessing over 50,000 of his fellow Igbos slaughtered in broad daylight, he knew there was no such thing.

Truckpusher:
Honestly, the autonomous nature of the Igbo man did not give him room for unnecessary patience and diplomacy . But one has to weigh his options carefully before taking a calculated risk which is what the Igbo man lacks in abundance but let's be fair here - There is a conspiracy to keep the igbo man down and this is bad and totally unacceptable .
Sometimes I understand their plight and frustration because how can a people so vibrant be held down by some crazed zombies that has total disregard for nationalism and self development but wanting to drag the Niger delta into their problems is a no no situation even as we find ourselves in the same boat. We are children of circumstances and it would be unfortunate to for us to take any calculated risk that will backfire. At least not now.
If I were Ojukwu I wouldn't go to war but I'll build a regional economic powerhouse because once you win the economic war then the military confrontation will become a walk in the park.
Why is North Korea not attacking South Korea on a full scale invasion ? Because the big boys interests are in the South.
Win the economic war and watch the North come to the negotiating table.
Ojukwu did not go to war, rather, war came to Ojukwu

kindly remember that each region was developing on its own pace with different resources before an igbo man, Aguyi Ironsi, abolished regionalisim and foisted the unitary system on us
All 4 regions were still in existence even a year after Ironsi died. So unless Ironsi returned from the dead, you will have to explain how he abolished the regions.

Preyetonye:
Ever since the agitation for a biafra republic started, the igbos have repeatedly included the South-South region, even going as far as removing Edo state from the region and adding states like Bayelsa, Cross River and Akwa-Ibom states to their so-called map, note that i did not mention both Delta and Rivers states who supposedly have igbos dwelling among them, igbos they didnt consider brothers before but because they need them now, they are suddenly their brothers, but hey i cant speak for them but mind you they have repeatedly said that they r not biafrans and i mean the speech the ikwere elders gave, the problem is that igbos are trying to bring dispute between the tribes in our region, if you want to leave nigeria, then by all means do so, but dont drag the southerners with you and stop including us in your biafra. We are South-South and we are NOT Biafrans
Your not making any sense. So because Igbos happen to be in Rivers and Delta States created by Military leaders, they are longer Igbos?

lmao.... its only in your dreams that that is happening. The ikwerres leaders have said they ain't in support. Biafra starts and ends in the SE. the reason your people are in other peoples lands is simply as a result of migration. igboland is SE, nothing more, nothing less.

that's like the blacks Americans saying they own ATL, Georgia. that's very laughable. Or like the South African whites saying they own Pretoria or Cape Town.

just because Igbo's are in Lagos and Kano doesn't stop those places from being yorubaland and hausaland respectively.

Your people should try to unjustly amass SS lands and y'all will see a repeat of 1967.
SS? SE? What are those? The name of the new beer in town? you realise we are talking about Nigeria here not Ghana?

Except for those who don't know. But for many of us down here in south-south, we know that the 2 major reasons why the Igbos want the people of south-south to be part of their separatists movement is; the oil and access to sea and port facilities to enable them continue their importation business. Check the whole of Igbos land they do not have access to the sea the way we South-south have. From Calabar straight to Edo even stretched to Ondo and Lagos states all these States have great access to the Atlantic Ocean. So that is the reason why the Igbos at all cost want the south-south people to be part of Biafra. They see it as whether we like it or not that we are Biafrans. If u doubt me, just engage on this Biafra disscusion with any Igbo man and tell d person ur a Rivers, Akwa Ibom person but ur not part of Biafra and see how he will insult u as if u have no right to say ur a nigerian. I encounter them here everyday in port harcourt. I challenge on d street, cab, football viewing centers etc. Some of which have made me their personal enemies. Yet they cant do anything to me because me i hold ground for my Area and zone. Not that the Igbos love us so much and the Hsusas and the Yorubas hates us so much as being painted by the Biafrans led by one Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra. Igbos is land is seriously a landlocked zone. Tompolo's boat can't even sail in Onitsha river how much more a cargo vessel or ship.
Funny how you accuse Igbos grabbing the lands of the minorities into Biafra but you already grabbed the lands of more than 30 ethic groups including Igbos into you non existent 'SS'. You better pray that these people join us in seceding because if just Igbos leave we are taking everything Igno with us from the Igbanke people in Edo, Anioma people of Delta, all of Rivers Igbo down to the Ikwere city of Porthacourt. After that, we will see how the rest of your 'SS' will do under Yoruba/Hausa control

Innocent lives gone.

Who do we blame? The protesters? who have a right to a peaceful protest, that was later hijacked?

The Security Agencies, whose Jobs are to safeguard lives and property?

MASSOB And IPOD? Who even if they called for the rally, conveniently was at the back of the protesters, instead of the front when the shooting took place.

Or maybe we will blame Buhari, who it is his Job to keep Nigeria one.

But, one thing we can all agree on is, if those guys had been going about their private business, I am sure they will be alive.

Now, it is the family and direct loved ones who are feeling the pain.
We all saw the picture of the young unarmed girl who was murdered in broad daylight by the security agents of Nigeria. It is only in a highly uncivilised country that a police will turn their weapons against unarmed civilians. Arase should have resigned for this despicable act
