PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu And The Lure Of Megalomania by kingzizzy: 10:09am On Jun 28, 2017
Who ever wrote this is deluded. Kanu is the supreme leader of IPOB. Not Igbos or Ijaws, Ibibio or whatever. IPOB are free to give their leader whatever title they want.

Thw writter is saying that Kanu cannot force people to not to vote. Did Kanu force anyone to stay at home. This is a voluntary call by Kanu not to vote in the Anambra elections and if the people decide to heed that call the whose business is it?

The writter has asked that Kanu remove the minorities from Biafra that it is causing Igbos insult. When in history has Biafra ever been an Igbo project? The last president of Biafra, General Philip Effiong, was not even an Igbo man. If any minority is insulting Igbos for including them in Biafra, that minority would have insulted Igbos without the inclusion anyway since the same minority is not complaining about being included in Nigeria.

Kanu has said many times that he wants referendum, it is only Nigerians such as the writter that is still talking about war

It is quite shocking that the writter is well aware that the Nigerian security personell have commited murder against Biafran agitators. He doesnt bother to call out those who are commiting murder like the Nigerian security forces, boko haram, herdsmen. But the witter is very much concerned about the language and rhetoric used bu Kanu who is yet to kill anybody.

IPOB touts are worshipping him like a god while he foolishly accepts their worship.

Christians who are following this anti-Christ are doing so at the risk of their soul.

PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri: Nnamdi Kanu's Influence Reducing Because Of His Utterances by kingzizzy:
EvilMetahuman:
Kanu is about to learn a valuable lesson.

In nigerian politics, you have to vehemently chose a side or act like regular politician by jumping from party to party.

Trying to stay neutral and at the same time talk about politics will be the end of his reign as the emperor of army of brainless flat headed alimajiris.

He quickly forgot he became popular after TAN collapsed after losing 2015 election and the members saw him as an opportunity to express their grievances on the hausa/fulani muslim president they love to hate.

E go soon clear for his eyes and learn why ojuku denounce biafra to contest for nigerian presidency.
Those who brought him up will bring him down hard. This time, bury him 6ft down the hell hole.
But you forget that Kanu is no politician but a freedom fighter. Politicians are actually Kanu's enemy. It is politicians that want 'one Nigeria' more than anyone else.

Reno has a short memory. He seems to have forgotten the vitriol that was poured on GEJ by the North and their SW APC supporters and even FFK at one time. Compared to scorn they heaped on GEJ, Kanu has been kind to GEJ

Besides, in the election that followed it was the same area that Kanu wants as Biafra that gave GEJ near total support
PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri: Nnamdi Kanu's Influence Reducing Because Of His Utterances by kingzizzy:
There is something that Nigerians like Reno dont understand.

It makes no difference if Kanus influence reduces or rises amongst Nigerians like Reno, Kanu is not in this for Nigeria.

What matters is if Kanus influence falls amongst Biafrans like me. Its going to take a lot more than calling an expired politician like GEJ incompetent for that to happen.

Reno doesnt seem to realise that Kanu got to where he is by talking the way he does. 'Mr Nice Guy' does not work in Nigeria, thats for more civilised climes.

Kanu remains the unwavering maverick he has always been and it aint going to change soon

starkid1996:
1)form a political party either seccssionist party or a normal party as the case maybe as approved by inec.

2)with that party now which member should be die hard biafran with the sole purpose of achieveing biafra.

3)candidates should be elected to occupy position's both at the state level and federal level which am sure if announced on your social platform people are going to vote for only those people.

4)with those position been occupied by people with same objective and agenda you can now push for refrendum to be added to the constitution.

5)small small they will now push for one to be conducted on the biafran agitation which eventually will pass cause the abokis and afonja's will support the motion have'nd come out to support the agitation.

I think with the above point's if followed biafra will rise in the next five year.
You have to first tell us which of these steps Lord Lugard did before he created Nigeria. If Lugard did not do these things then it means that Nigeria is an illegal union that nobody agreed to.

So you will have to go and dig up Lord Lugard wherever he is buried, get him to go through these steps so as to create Nigeria legally. After that, we can talk about Biafra.

Kanu is probably hoping to return to Kuje, this will make him 10 times more popular than he already is.

justineu:
if those group you mention above refuses to join the struggle must you force them.. My brother this is 2017 not 1967, If they want to be with the minorities leave them..

I have an ekwerre friend with an Igbo name who rufuse to be called an Igbo man or even accept to be called biafran. We must not force this struggle on them.. If they are willing to join so be it.
Stop using the word "force" when talking about Biafra. That word is best suited for Nigeria where all of us where forced into an unholy union called Nigeria by Lord Lugard and the British in 1914. When a person or people are given the choice to join or opt out of something, that is not force

Biafra is to be achieved by referendum. If Ikwerre or anyone else dont like Biafra, let them vote in a referendum to continue with Nigeria and nobody will disturb them. Those who vote to stay can stay while those who vote to go can go.

This is not novelty even in Nigeria. In 1961, British Cameroon voted in a referendum. Northern British Cameroon voted to join Nigeria while the Southern part voted to join Republic of Cameroon. That is democracy

Do you know that Gowon and Ojukwu settled on a plate of food after over 3million Igbo indigenes died after the war, a war where none of his family were killed.

And some ignorant ones are beating the drum of war again without even having a second thought...
This picture was taken from the Aburi meeting and showing Ojukwu and Gowon eating from the same plate during a break from the meeting.

Aburi was the last attempt to resolve the dispute between Gowon and Ojukwu. The reached an agreement to keep Nigeria one and signed the agreement.

But when they got back to Nigeria, Gowon broke the agreement and Ojukwu was left with no other choice but to declare Biafra which led to a 3 year war.

A lot of people think Ojukwu caused the war, it was actually Gowon who did.

Am an Igbo man from imo state, I believe in the Biafra struggle. My problem with the struggle is why should the igbos be trying to force the minorities on the struggle.

Please if the IPOB are not making plans of seceding without the minorities I think they should go back to drawing board and have a rethink. Trying to force the minorities to join biafra will lead to insult by other tribes if you can observe from some thread.

In one of the thread I saw an akwa ibomite spitting that the igbos are trying to force their Biafra struggle on them, to me is an insult cant we form a strong country without them, just imagine little tribe insulting the igbo nation all in the name trying to accommodate them in the biafra struggle.

To be frank with you neither ijaw, ibibio, iteskiri, nor Benin we don't share anything in common with them.

Please my brothers and sisters lets the struggle be between the five eastern state after the referendum any tribe who wish to join us are free.
Thanks

Cc..amarabae
Listen man and listen well. Biafra is not an Igbo project same as Nigeria is not a Tiv project. Biafra is an ancient kingdom that covered what is SE/SS and the southern Cameroon and stopped at the Bini empire.

In the first Republic of Biafra, the following were held

Vice president- Philip Effiong (Annang)
Secretary to the Biafran Govt- Mr Akpan (Ibibio)
Commander of the Biafran Air force- Lt Col Kurubo (Ijaw)
Minister of foreign affairs - Mr MT Mbu (Ogoja)

In 1967, when Ojukwu was wondering what to call the new country he was about to declare, it was an Ijaw man called Frank that came up with the name 'Biafra' to remind us all of our ancient heritage.

So anyone who thinks that Biafra is all about Igbos is either ignorant of history or being mischevous.

In this new agitation for Biafra, IPOB is saying let there be a referendum in the SE/SS to give everyone a chance to be heard. Those who want Biafra can vote to go, while those who prefare Nigeria can vote to continue with it. So how is this forcing people into Biafra?

And if anyone says "we didnt ask for referendum", ask the person if they asked for referendum when Lugard was making them 'Nigerians'.

Igbo land is much larger than.the 5 states created by military opportunist. How can you have 5 Igbo states but 7 Igbo Governors? Igbos are indigenous to parts of Delta, Rivers, Benue and even cross River.

So anyone that says they are being forced into Biafra when they have always been historically Biafran and when this will be decided by the democratic instrument of a referendum simply doesnt know what the are talking about

Be there and be deceiving yourself.

NO TRIBE IN NIGERIA WANTS TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE IBOS. EVEN IN SECESSION.

I don't know why its so hard to see.

Each tribe in Nigeria can gladly unite for a common goal.

The Hausas/Fulani can unite with the Yoruba.

The Edo (Bini, Esan, Etsako etc) people will gladly unite with Delta (ijaw, urhobo, Isoko, itsekiri etc)

The middle belt Plateau, Kogi, Benue, Nassarawa (Tiv, Igala, Gwari, Idoma) will unite together to pursue a common goal.

Even Akwa Ibom and Cross River will unite with the Other South South tribes.

BUT TELL ME WHO WANTS TO UNITE WITH THE IBOS FOR ANYTHINGhuh NOBODY.

JUST FORM YOUR BIAFRA REPUBLIC AND LET OTHERS DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES.
There is no tribe in Nigeria called 'IBOS'

So, in the event of a Nigeria split, we have two options:

1. Ijaw Republic

2. Niger Delta Republic.

The latter will ONLY be if the SS ethnic nationalities endorse a distinct State for the group.

If no agreement of such, we move with the former.

The Ijaws has always stood for themselves and are never known for unity begging.
Lol. How laughable. People like you have no plan for the Ijaw nation except for them to stay in Nigeria and be begging the North for restructuring and resource control.

You better get real. Every ethnic group in the south of Nigeria, big or small, will at some point face the same choice Ojukwu faced 50 years ago. Accept "Hausa/Fulani controlled Nigeria" or fight for your freedom.

The Ijaw nation does not have to be part of Biafra, however, lets not decieve our selves that there are any choices outside the one I mentioned. Nobody is going to hand anyone freedom on plate, IPOB already knows this.

IPOB stands for referendum of the willing, IPOB is not interested in people who are still looking for "one Nigeria"

Even if you boycott the election, result will still come out and a governor will emerge. He will still rule your state.

Why don't you also drop the naira and start using currency? If you you guys are not hypocrites then boycott naira usage. Transfer all your naira to into our account and go for biafra currency
.
I tell you restructuring will produce better result than Biafra for now but you people are so brainwashed by your foolish leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Tufiakwa!
You dont understand the purpose of election boycott. You think this is about who becomes Governor? Or the outcome of the elections its self? No. This is about the boycott its self. Election boycott is one of the strongest ways for a group of people to send a message that they do not want to be part of a system. IPOB is not interested in who rules Anambra, IPOB is interested in getting the Government to agree to a referendum and Election boycott is one the many ways it is going to use.

Drop the naira? That is only possible when Biafra is declared. Participating in elections in Nigeriai optional, using or dropping the Naira is not optional until Biafra is declared as it is the only legal tender. It is foolish to use the Naira as an example.

As for restructuring, you better forget about that because the North will not agree to it. Learn from history. 50 years ago, Ojukwu went to Aburi to find restructuring because he felt just like you, that restructuring was better than Biafra or secession.

Guess what? 50 years has gone and nobody has seen any restrcturing till today.

Please pass this message to anyone close to our hero. It is from a reliable source.
Such rumours have been flying around for a long time. Kanu already knows that his life would be under threat. However, he has made his peace with God and is quite willing to lay down his life for his beliefs. We only ask Chukwu okike to protect his children. But I have no doubt in my mind that IPOB, especially the more fanatic ones, will take up arms if Kanu is killed.
