The EU is a great supporter of self determination. As we all remember, the EU was there when Czechoslovakia split in Czech Republic and Republic of Slovakia, both of which are EU members. Greenland and the UK both left the EU by way of referendum. There are many examples to show that the EU supports the right of self determination. |
Let’s shun distractions and face the advancement of Nigeria; we are one, today and foreverWe are one? Since when? Did any of you know anything about Igbos before Lugard came? Now, we are one? Jokers and Jesters everwhere. |
Papiikush:If your country was truly great, one man would not be able to divide it |
IHEJIRIKAisBOKO:And after that, you carry one with 'one Nigeria'? The fraudulent British colonial organisation called Nigeria must end and from its grave, Biafra will rise! |
As an Anambra man and Biafran supporter, even though I think that Obiano deserves a second tenure based on performance, I still think Kanu is right. Biafra land should not be engaging in Nigerian politics to show seriousness about Biafra. |
No tribe in Nigeria practices 'one Nigeria' like Igbos because only an Igbo man will leave his area to go to a forest in Sokoto to settle, build a house and bdevelop the place. So when Yorubas and Hausas talk about one united Nigeria I laugh because they pay lip service to that notion without practicing it. However, the fact that Igbos have spread their tentacles all over Nigeria does not in anyway take away the fact that they have the right to agitate for a separate state. |
These Northerners are funny as some Nigerians are. There is little or no relationship between Igbos leaving the North and having their own country. What do the two have to do with each other? |
61Penguins:These clowns are everywhere. I remember when they said that Kanu can never return to Nigeria to fight for Biafra. Since Nnamdi Kanu fearlessly returned, the shifted the goalpost to other things. Kanu does no need to need to renounce his British citizenship. Dual citizenship is well recognised. Anybody who is waiting for Kanu to renounce his British citizenship before embracing Biafra is just making excuse. |
Markfemi2:How will relocation get Igbos Biafra? |
Markfemi2:Really? Did Lugard ask for the creation of Nigeria legally? Nigeria is the illegal and enforced creation of thw white man. As such, nobody is bound to go to any Nigerian Senate or Housr of reps to leave an illegal union. The Government should meet the agitators to map out when and where a referendum should be held |
lofty900:There is nothing like bush pig and its not a Rhinoceros. That is wild boar. A dangerous animal but tasty if you can catch it |
His name is Nonso? What is he doing in Sambisa? |
ScotsReferendum:I dont see how a Niger Delta Republic is possible. Biafra that people are agitating for is hard to get to even talk about Niger Delta that nobody is agitating for. |
Okorocha is a morron |
Redomi:Nigeria started the war. Nigeria broke the Aburi agreement, Nigeria declared 'police action', Nigeria invaded the Eastern Region. Nigeria started the war. Scotland is part of Britain, the 5th richest nation in.the world. Despite all the economic and political advantage of being part of Britain, Scotland agitated for its independence and got a referendum in 2014. The lessin of the story is, wether good or bad, no matter the circumstance, every ethnic group has the right to self determination and to seek their independence |
kolafolabi:No no. He said that agitating for another Biafra was unnecessary if Nigeria is run fairly and equitably. Nigeria is neither run fairly or equitably and Biafra must be actualised |
NwaAmaikpe:He was offered that in Kuje but he turned it down |
Every Nigerian knows that Nigeria is a disasterous British experiment that has outlived any relevancy. The umity of Nigeria is not worth the MB I will soend to post this message. So instead of us fighting and killing each other, let us peacefully disengage from each other and let the Biafrans go. Nnamdi Kanu is a prime example to all Nigerians that Nigeria is an unworkable disaster. Let the Biafrans go! They are not your brother just because Lord Lugard said so! |
newbornmacho:Your problem is that you dont know what the song stands for. The song is meant to glorify something or someone who leads the people to a better place. Back in my primary school days, we used to sing this song in school but we would put the name of our school to replace 'Nnamdi Kanu' as in this video. People use this song all the time to honour someone or something |
Which Igbo leaders? These ones? I laugh in Igbo |
Umuchukwu! Thats how it is done! When you have support, the work is half done! |
johnserek:It doesnt matter whether it is a confederation or not, if nobody agitates for it, it will never be. In this day and age nobody will give anyone a country without agitation |
Niger Delta Republic is not a bad idea. Unfortunately, nobody is agitating for it. There isnt even one single organisation spearheading anything for a Niger Delta Republic. Not even a single protest. So how will Ijaw, Efik, Ogoni, Ibibio, oron and all other ethnic groups come together to form a country when none of them are agitating for it? |
johnserek:You are funny. Why would anyone be trembling over Niger Delta Republic which no one is agitating for? If anyone should be trembling, it should be over Biafra which is reaching advanced stage of agitation. |
aycorporat:How can third marine commando be liberating those who have already declared their own freedom and independent country? Third marine commando was only fighting to take the people back into Hausa/Fulani controlled Nigeria. That is not liberating people, that imprisoning them |
Aonkuuse:Hypocrisy! So you people know that the Northerners may kill Igbos from October 1st but you peoole want IPOB to accept 'one Nigeria" Nigerians must be crazy, Nigerians are the only people who want to do 'one Nigeria' with people who can rise up againt them any time |
mightykay:Both of you are pathetic. You people are trying to smear the reputation of the greatest hero of the Igbos, the Eze ndigbo gburu gburu . You people didnt even bother to do a research on Nigerian history to know what the Aburi agreement was and how the war started. You people dont even know that Nigeria commited genocide by using starvation as an instrument of war, something that is now regarded as an international war crime. The letter of resignation blames Ojukwu for not allowing the Nigeria method of distributing relief supplies without taking into consideration that Ojukwu was fighting a war and could not accept what Nigeria offered because of the undue military advantage it gave them. You guys make me laugh. Ojukwu is the greatest hero of his people because, against all odds, he fought to liberate them from Hausa/Fulani controlled Nigeria. I dont expect those Lord Lugard named after a common River ti understand what freedom is or its importance |
GavelSlam:So what sounds intelligent to you is to go back home and still have no independence? |
