OP mumu sha, or looking for argument that will take his thread to FP

How will you not remember the day we had our first and only free n fair election in Nigeria, where every Nigeria from east, west, north, south, yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, calabar, Edo, delta, igara, tiv all came 2geda as one to move the nation forward with a man( 4get d tribe e cums 4rm) who fought for true democracy till his death.

June 12 used only be observed in some SW states but deserves to be a very important national holiday
It all depends how you see it. Is June 12th to be remembered for the injustice? It's been 25 years, many people no longer care except Yorubas

Joe Yorubakwe keeps asking if Yorubas went to war, did Igbos go to war? Nigeria went to war with Biafrans

Why is it that Joe Yorubakwe does not seem to understand that Igbos and Yorubas are different people? They don't have much in common

As an Igbo man, I don't see what I can learn from a Yoruba man.

Not really. Igbos don't care much what Yorubas do in their own land.

It's Yorubas that care too much about what Igbos do in their own land. It only takes Nnamdi Kanu to wave a Biafran flag in Umuahia for a Yoruba man in Ibadan to start foaming in the mouth

If that is what you want, then igbos should by now be building the infrastructure and military edifices for a viable and secure society. What we have now is the massive outflow of human and material resources from the SE to other parts of Nigeria. You guys aren’t serious yet, and it hasn’t dawned on you that other Nigerians are disgusted by you.

This is a gratuitous advic: it is time to build the SE as Nigeria offers igbo no political incentives. Your only succor for now is the free movement and the big market that Nigeria offers.
How come it is that you hypocrites use one standard for Igbos and another for your selves?

SE is not Igbo land, Igbo land is much bigger than that. However, if Igbos are not serious about having their own country because they migrate to other parts of Nigeria then what do you say about Nigeria?
Nigerian are dying in the Sahara as they flee to Europe in droves. Nigerians are being held as slaves in Libya as they flee Nigeria. Nigerians are being murdered in South Africa.

So if you Nigerians are fleeing Nigeria in droves yet you have your country, what gives you the right to deny the Igbos their own country for doing the same thing you are doing?

When has seeking greener pastures become a reason to deny people their sovereignty?

What is this stuff about the big market Nigeria offers? Igbos don't think that small. We are thinking about the big market the world offers.

colonial masters did not force their way through their hosts. They used indirect coercive methods like education, religion, technology etc.we decided to let them stay thinking we can just chase them at any time.just look at it like the oga & apprentice situation
Then you should go and read the history of how Nigeria was created. It can be found online. The Nembe war, the Arochukwu war, the annexing of Lagos, the dethroning killing of Sultan Attahiru of the Sokoto caliphate, the Ekumeku war, the burning of Benin city of 1897, the dethroning of the Obong of Calabar and many more.

All these wars, killings and take over is how the British created Nigeria. Education, religion, technology only came after they had overrun the place.

The funny thing is that at the same war, killings and take over is still how Nigeria is still being kept together today.

colonialism and secession are two different things my friend.
Colonialism and secession are methods of creating a new country. Secession could even be argued to be better than colonialism. Secession is the owners of the land that create their own country while colonialism is outsiders who come from nowhere to create a country for the owners of the land

You foolish Igbos baffle me at all time.

What was in Aburi accord that was lacking in confederalism ? Pls just teen me one thing maybe I might reason the way you do.

Confederating unit of North West n East was living utopia Nigeria was built on n every loved it.

You Igbos for no reason orchestrated the first coup in Nigeria to destroy that n in the process lost all the right n privileges it offered.

Upon discovery this you now chose to insert all those right n privileges in Aburi accord to regain them after taking Nigeria through a civil war.

Tell me who will pay for the foolishness of your coup n the war ?
This is the Lagos/Ibadan expressway media account of Nigerian history.

All was not well in Nigeria before the first coup. The 1945 Jos riots, the 1953 Kano massacre, the 1964 election crises, the 1965 Census violence. The list is endless. So anyone telling you that Nigeria was a lovely place before the first coup doesn't know what they are saying.

Also, you might need to re-check your Nigerian history, Aburi was 6 months before the war began

Which of the two is the hero?

You him a cross dresser and a coward but but you can bet that nobody from your area will ever rally and lead his people in a military fight for independence for 3 years like he did.

If cowards and cross dresser are the type that stand up and fight for their people like Ojukwu did, may God make me one because I don't know what is more noble than to fight for freedom

It is unfortunate that while Ojukwu and his people were fighting for freedom your people were hiding under Gowon's skirt
The prayer that Awolowo taught his fellow Yorubas during the war was:-

My caliphate masters, we are too cowardly to fight for our sovereignty the way Ojukwu and Igbos do.

We pledge to be your eternal slaves if you keep Yoruba land out of the war

Only the Yoruba's seem to care then about June 12th because they alone know its importance. This is a day that symbolizes true Democracy. So I support that it should be considered as a national celebration....Kudos to Mr. President for the great honor embedded on the late MKO Abiola...He sure deserves it.
Let us hear word. Would Yorubas have remembered June 12th if MKO had been an Igbo man?

Everyone talks about rotation of power between the North and the South and there seems to have been an unspoken convention until Jonathan came to power.

Now Buhari is back and is expected to to remain in power till 2023 when power returns to the south.

But what really do we mean by North and South

When we say Northern president we mean Fulani, Not Tiv, Nupe Berom ,Igala,Ebira,Kanuri or Even Kwara Yoruba
Everyone knows this

The same is equally true inthe south. We mean Yoruba .S
So rotation of presidency simply means Yoruba -Fulani-Yoruba-Fulani ad infnitum.

Everyone knows this and only a foolish man will try to overheat the polity by saying otherwise.

Those are the groups that have the experience of creating and running empires
You guys have been rotating it for 50 years and showed the whole world your cluelessness by turning Nigeria is a total mess

Igbos did not vote APC in the last elections because they don't like Buhari

Igbos did not vote SDP because they never liked Abiola.
