The earlier you bury this your Biafra's dream, the better it is for you to move forward. You got no option!
We will bury it when yoy are prepared to bury the dream of Lord Lugard called Nigeria. Biafra is African creation, Nigeria is the creation of the white man.

Regardless of whoseover gave us the nomenclature, Nigeria. One fact remains, this is our home
If it is our home "by force" then it is a home for some and a 'prison' for others. Those who are not happy with Nigeria should be left to go their way

Biafra died the same moment Ojukwu gave up, and flee to Cote d ivoire, after allowing thousands of innocent souls to be killed. Its of no point to keep agitating for a dream or vision that died long ago, as no amount of protests, displays can resurrect it. This is high time all hands must be on deck to support the progress and development of our dear country Nigeria, with no hope of secession. I am always proud to be a Nigerian
Our dear country? Who told you it is your country? This is a country created by Federick Lugard. Did you ask his pernission before caiming his creation as your country?
PoliticsHow Delta Igbos Wanted To Secede With Biafra- Achuzia by kingzizzy(op): 7:34pm On Mar 07, 2017
25th of May 1967, Enugu

I appeared on the scene as a delegate for my people who at the time were the Igbo speaking group of the Mid-Western Region. This group was then known as the Ika Igbo association. It was this union that nominated me and the following to represent the Ika Igbos at the consultative assembly of the Eastern Region: The Obi of Belekwu representing the traditional rulers of Asaba and Ika division, the Ukpanuka of Ndoni representing the traditional rulers in Aboh division, with Mr Eugene Oba as President if the Ika Igbo Association, and Mr Mark Uzoka, a former Minister in the Mid-Western Regional Government who was secretary of the Ika Igbo Association, myself being the National Vice President of the association.

The purpose and aim of the Association was to ensure that in the event of the disintegration of Nigeria, we would merge with our kith and Kin on the Igbo mainland, East of the Niger.

Considering the events at the time, only a miracle could have stopped the disintegration of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

You are comparing apples and pears here. There was a Czech and a Slovak nation colonized by the Austria-Hungary empire before the allied powers created them after world war 1. Before 1914 there was no Biafran state recognized by any nation state on earth. In the eyes of the international community, the area that constitutes your so called Biafra are merely states within Nigeria. Hence the legitimacy of the Nigerian state under international law
You do realise that Czechs and Slovaks are ethnic groups like Hausa/Igbo/ Yoruba? Colonised by the Austro-Hungarian same as the British did to us. Before 1914, there was no Czechoslovakia either, they became a country like Nigeria in 1918.

The situation of Czechoslovakia and Nigeria are exactly the same thing.

The only difference is that in Czechs and Slovaks are advanced Europeans who can shake hands and walk away as friends

While Nigerians are backward Africans who are prepared to fight and kill each other to keep the flag of Lord Lugard flying

He went to war prematurely. Awo told him to scale down and wait. He refused. Then when he was getting whipping he sent Zik and Achebe to go round and seek diplomacy but too late.

Anyway, this na Oduduwa talk, no room for Biafra. Open new thread if you want talk Biafra.

Our exception as the only people who never raised gun in Nigeria is paying off today. The Elders say you look forward and weigh the consequences of your action today, then you either step away or move forward with the action. When the day of consequence arrive be bold and acknowledge it.

We acknowledge today the reward of stepping away from premature action in 67. Every troubled ethnic group today, especially Ibo, find comfort and solace on our land.

May Oduduwa be praised!
Ojukwu never went to war, war came to Ojukwu. It was Nigeria that came to East to fight. If Nigeria had wanted, it could also have gone through talking and diplomacy instead of rushing to war.

What reward was there for no action in 1967? The Northerners went to the Western Region and killed Governor Fajuyi, chased Brigadier Ogundipe who should have been head of state after Ironsi away, and you people were thinking it is premature to take action? I laugh in Igbo. What remained? Is it if the Northerners had also killed the Oni of Ife that you people would have started defending your selves?

You guys were held hostage in your own lands because you could not stand up to the Northerners like Ojukwu.

Now you guys talk about Oduduwa Republic? The one that you guys cant even organise one single protest for like IPOB does for Biafra?

You people wont kill me with laughter

You lead with talk, you follow up with diplomacy. Military action should always be last.

Your leaders in MASSOB, Ohanaeze, IPOB agree with us. They now call themselves a non-violent group. The realize the Ojukwu way is not the good way, the YORUBA approach is better. grin
What did you think Ojukwu did? You think he chose military option fron day one? He talked, followed it up with diplomacy at Aburi where an agreement was signed. When the agreement was broken by Nigeria, military option became the only way left.
PoliticsRe: Have You Seen The Map Of The Proposed ODUDUWA REPUBLIC, If Nigeria Break Up? by kingzizzy: 3:39pm On Mar 07, 2017
Yorubas and the SW are the only zone who have never risen to militarily fight for anything in Nigeria. They have never taken up arms. So how can the fight for Oduduwa Republic? By talking?

If secession ever becomes possible through talking, then Oduduwa Republic might become possible.

Sorry to burst your bubble but that's not gonna happen. There was no vacuum in time between 1914 and today. Besides Nigeria is a legitimate entity in the eyes of the entire world. Your Biafran agitation is a waste of time
And what was the vacuum before 1914? Or did Nigeria materialise from nowhere?

So Nigeria is a legitimate entity in the eyes of the entire world? So was Czecholovakia. Then it broke up into Czech Republic and Republic of slovakia, now both countries ar seen as ' legitimate entities in the eyes of the world'.

No agitation for freedom is a waste of time except to those who have embraced slavery.
PoliticsRe: Aba Made Bullet Proof Vest (Photos) by kingzizzy: 12:53pm On Mar 07, 2017
No wonder Ojukwu wanted his body taken to Aba upon his death.

Aba literally provided the Biafran Army with all it needed except weapons.

From boots, to Army uniforms to equipments. Without Aba, there would have been no Biafran Army.

Igbo ingenuity is amazing.

Where ihejirika, that is a perfect example of a disgraced general if you are looking for one.
Well, the warning is very loud,if you want to know weather he is disgraced general or not, carry arms against Nigeria in the name of biafra.Nnamdi case will be better than yours.
Incase you dont know, this a thread about Burutai not Ihejirika.

As for carrying arms against Nigeria, others that carried arms against Nigeria, what happend?

Biafra carried Arms, what happend? Nigerian ran to beg help from Britain, Russia, Egypt and the Arab League

When the Niger Delta militants took up arms, what did your Nigerian Army do? Nothing, the Government had to offer them amnesty to keep Oil going.

When Boko Haram took up arms, your so called Nigerian Army could do nothing for 6 years. They had to run to beg Cameroon, Chad and Niger Republic for help. Today, the murderous Burutai who killed hundreds of people to get right way is recieving awards that other countries helped him achieve. The man is not even ashamed of himself.

If anyone carriess arms, nothing will happen except your Nigerian Army will look for who cry to for help

The only time you see any bravado in the Nigerian Army is when they are dealing with unarmed civilians.
PoliticsRe: Agitators For Nigeria’s Separation Will Wait For Another Four Millennia —Buratai by kingzizzy: 8:48am On Mar 07, 2017
Its funny that another quoter system General like Burutai, a disgrace of an Army officer who massacred hundreds of people so he can have right of way.

Nigeria is just roughly 100 years old and the discredited General is predicting it will last 4 thousand years? There is something mentally wrong with the man.

His Nigerian Army coukd not even get anywhere with Boko Haram until Niger Republic, Cameroon and Chad joined the fight.

To this day, the Nigerian Army cannot boast of one single war they have won without at least 4 countries coming to their assistance. If it is to shoot unarmed people, they will suddenly know where the trigger of their gun is.

Burutai is a disgrace

PoliticsRe: Obafemi Awolowo's Answer To The Starvation Policy On Biafrans: The Hidden Truth by kingzizzy: 12:13pm On Mar 06, 2017
This is my take on Awolowo:

In 1966, a question stood up the Yorubas and the Igbos, accept Northern domination. Even though Ojukwu was not prepared to fight, it was no excuse for him and his to go down without a fight. Ojukwu fought like a man

Awolowo led his people straight into the arms of Northern control. The cowardly way out of a fight. Like the typical Nigerian politician he was, Awolowo accepted a plum position in Gowons Government and sold his coscience and his people for a pot of porridge. Overnight, a once respected sage like Awolowo became deputy to Gowon who was young enough to be his son.

To this day, the Yoruba people who claim to be sophisticated but dont have any concept of self determination.

Awolowos excuse for starving children is because Biafran Soldiers were siezing the food for themselves. Today, this is a war crime. Starving the civilian populace under any circumstance is a war crime. It would have been far better that Awolowo allowed food in and it was later said that the Soldiers starved the children and not him. Using starvation as an instrument of war is highly frowned upon by the international community.

On the whole, I think outside his own Yoruba ethnic group, nobody is going venerate the name of Awolowo as a praiseworthy man worth emulating. He will always be vilified by us Igbos
PoliticsRe: Igbo Presidency And Project 2023: What Do You Think Of This Piece by kingzizzy: 10:34am On Mar 06, 2017
Rochas is deluded human being. He thinks that if Buhari has his 8 years, the mathmatics of politics will mean that APC will zone its Presidency to the South East being the only zone in the South yet to get the Presidential slot.

Unfortunately for Rochas, the man is yet to undertand how Nigeria works. The only reason APC is relevant right now is because its national leader is a Northerner (Buhari). In 2023, if APC hands its ticket to an Igbo man, the North will lose interest in the party and go for something else, followed by the Yorubas.

Anyone thinking that Yorubas and Hausa-Fulani will be falling over themselves to support an Igbo man as President under APC is fooling themselves. Infact, I predict that in 2023, APC will support a Yoruba man to succeed Buhari
