I'm sorry but your good idea isn't enough, you need a lot of MONEY, loads and loads of it. A good crew (like mine ) to pull off your great idea, beautiful set, logistics and good post production don't come cheap. That's not the heavy lifting as Nigerian TV stations will then take you for all you've got
Don't think they wouldn't compare your show with the ones out there, your sponsors will be the first to. I'm sure you compared Got Talent (home and abroad) with Peak Talent Hunt. So make those shows your base mark
The GOOD news is that if your idea is unique and creative enough you'd be the one to sell the franchise to others and you would easily get a local sponsor and make money. So far no Nigerian Reality show has cut it - that's why they die. That's why its easier to buy franchise (proj fame, Got Talent, idols) or model it around a successful show (ultimate search). Please give it your best.

Politics / Re: Igbos Ready To Dump PDP For APC —OKOROCHA by kinharold(m): 5:03pm On Jun 21, 2013
Well, from the look of things Rochas is on his own. I can recall he never made consultations before going to the APC. he is going to find it difficult dragging others with him.

Owelle should not deceive himself. People are rallying around him and supporting him now because he is(comparatively) doing very well in Imo state. But if he decides to join Boko Haram and expect Ndi'gbo to follow him, he is seriously deceiving himself. Ndi'gbo will just see him off to the gate and dump him there.

No sane Igbo person will have anything to do with a "Boko Haram". I think what Igbos basically need as a people is not a change of party but a chance to be the "Oga @ the top".

Anyway, GEJ 2015.

Politics / Re: Clark To Orubebe: You Cant Be Governor Of Delta In 2015 by kinharold(m): 7:42am On Jun 21, 2013
I am from Ika North East LGA which falls under Delta North and truth be told, I'm yet to see any purposeful leader among this present breeds of greedy politicians from Delta North. So truth be told, regional politics won't help us in Delta.
So where are you seeing your so called "purposeful leaders". It is either you are not looking well or you need an optician.
The above post has said it all. Check with all the power brokers in the state, you will see the script. Okowa 2015. Haters should go and jump into Orogodo river.
Politics / Re: FG To Ban Plastic Bags, Sachet Water by kinharold(m): 1:01pm On Jun 06, 2013
All they ever think about is ban. Ban this, ban that. Ban okada, ban importation of rice etc. It never occurs to them that the things they are banning came into existence to meet a need. And as long as the need remains, these things will not go away even if you ban them. Think of creating alternatives and make the things you want to ban undesirable and they will just go away. Naija Govt people just think. Oops! Thinking is beyond their capabilities. Lets just Ban.
One thing I have seen in all our leaders is that they try to solve a problem without creating a solution. That will simply bring another type of problem.

Nigeria will not move if we dont start from somewhere.
I'm very sure the idea will work perfectly. There is a replacement for
it she said "government would favour the use of paper bags in their
place."

And what will be the price of each paper bag of water

Politics / Re: Emergency Rule: Reps Withdraw Jonathan’s Power Over States’ Funds by kinharold(m): 11:23am On May 29, 2013
In what it described as a reaction to public outcry against a breach of the constitution, the House of Representatives yesterday reversed its earlier decision to grant powers to President Goodluck Jonathan over funds of states and local governments under emergency rule. Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states are currently under emergency rule.

Somebody should clear this for us oo. Is it Emergency Rule or just State of Emergency. Last I heard, all the democratic government structures are still in place; from the Governors to even the LGA Chairmen. Let's get it straight.
Politics / Re: Anti-Amaechi Protests In Port Harcourt - Picture by kinharold(m): 7:46am On May 23, 2013
am who says amaechi is not performing? Visit rivers state and see tins for urself ok...... Whatever u see now or hear beforehand, in rivers state, is d brainchild of GEJ and nyesom wike collabo... So unfortunate amaechi chooses to fight the wrong fight

The case of Amaechi is like that of King Uzziah in the Bible (2 Chronicles 26:4-16*)

He forgot how he started, he forgot that he had no backing whatsoever at the national level of the party; no Oga at the top for him. He forgot how he fought against his own party and embarrassed the mighty OBJ. He became too bold and over confident, making challenging comments against the presidency. Worst of all, he started seeking affiliations with the wrong persons in a way that is against the interest of the generality of his own people.

Well this is politics, they know how to sort themselves out. May God help them.

If with ONLY 9m/monthly the security of our pipelines is guaranteed then that is a very very little price to pay considering the wealth in the pipeline. How much is Nigeria spending on Boko Haram.
Politics / Re: CPC Replies Asari Dokubo: You Will Recant After 2015 . by kinharold(m): 10:43am On May 07, 2013
With his recent utterances and actions, this Guy ought to have been charged for treasonable Felony!

Dokubo is definitely not the best man for this kind of assertions but he is really following a precedence. We ALL remember what Buhari said during the 2011 general elections. That he will make the country ungovernable for GEJ if he buhari dd not win. And truly he has made good that threat with the current security situation in the country. Nigeria could have been grounded completely if the scale of Boko Haram activities were to be happening in the south-south.

What is good for the goose... If Buhari was not arrested, invited for questioning, let alone charged for treason then, why should Dokubo be questioned in anyway.

There is something I do not get. How is Amaechi insulting the presidency in a democratic setting. Can someone shed light on this.

He was not directly insulting the presidency but he was seen as being too bold and over confident of himself. So the "Abuja Boys" need to show workings in order to prove their loyalty to "Oga at the top". I 'm sure that if you ask "oga at the top" he may not have any personal thing against Amaechi but the boys need to earn their choppings.

Amaechi new his hands were not clean and started tossing power with the president, he can do that in rivers state where he's so arrogant but not to GEJ. he should has focused more on fixing trans Amidi road, OKuru road, and more. think now he's like a wonded lion. This is impeachment then to jail.

This is exactly where his problems came from. He has very well succeeded in completely taking over the political structure in the state, including that of the so called opposition. He became arrogant and over confident especially as he is being seen in the eye of the public to be performing. But he forgot how he came to power; he forgot that he fought against his own party especially at the national level. He forgot that he does not have any pillar at the national level and started flexing muscle with the "All Mighty" Nigerian Presidency. He is one governor that boldly challenges the activities of the presidency whenever he has the opportunity. May God help him against the desperate force of GEJ.

Just this April end, they deducted 5000 from our account without any notice or information. we have used that account for more than a year now and such has not happened before. When we called our account officer, he said that is the new monthly charge for account maintenance. He even advised that we should change our account type to a different one.
Politics / Re: EFCC Plans Revisit On Amaechi’s N20billion Case. by kinharold(m): 10:56am On May 01, 2013
why don't you see it from the angle that most of our politicians are corrupt. with your mindset I don't think we can successfully fight corruption. Lets just say EFCC decides to prob Edo or Lagos state govt, people like you'll call it victimization.

Good point, but how far about Peter Odili, Orji Kalu, Nnamani and a host of other Governors etc that they are prosecuting. Amaechi is not innocent but so are ALL OF THEM including GEJ. We all know that this is PURE POLITICS not a fight against corruption. Afterall, the cases mentioned here against him were for years gone by. Na today?
Jokes Etc / Re: World Leaders Explains Why The Chicken Crossed The Road by kinharold(m): 8:55pm On Apr 29, 2013
I will ask my Oga at the top to ask some high level men of God why the chicken crossed the road. Main-while, the police said it has arrested several birds, ducks, pigeons etc over the incident and is asking everyone to remain calm and go about their lawful duties, assuring that investigation into why the chicken crossed the road is on-going. Also, the Senate has condemned the action of the chicken in crossing the road. When contacted, the spokesperson for the SSS did not respond to our call.

Please, if anyone has the response of SSS, CNN, BBC, Reuters; he/she should inform the house.
Jokes Etc / Re: World Leaders Explains Why The Chicken Crossed The Road by kinharold(m): 8:31pm On Apr 29, 2013
Doyin Okupe:

PDP denies that the chicken is crossing the road; there is not evidence to support the claim that the chicken was trying to cross the road. All questions about the chicken's journey across the road was engineered by the opposition to discredit the presidency. We need to remind the opposition that they will fail in their attempt to get the chicken across the road in 2015.
I wish to enjoin the public to ignore these lies being peddled about the chicken because the real real agenda is to throw salt into the ongoing efforts of President to eat this 1billion naira chicken which the first lady has made preparation to cook for dinner already
Reuben Abati:

This Chicken did not just start crossing the road; chickens have always tried to cross the road. I wonder why there is a lot of question suddenly about the chicken's journey. This administration did not create the chicken neither did we construct the road the chicken is trying to cross. Nigerians have a crisis of expectation if they think this administration can answer this age old question of why the chicken crossed the road.

For people who want to grab power, people who want President out of office and who want the PDP out of office, you can never expect an objective comment from them. It is quite possible that it was the road that was trying to move under a stationery chicken

It will take time and effort to correct this inherent need of the chicken to cross the road and the presidency is doing all it can to address the issue. As a show of his commitment in answering this question, the presidency has set up a 10 man committee and given them 10 days to investigate and come back with their finding. Pls note that the presidency has also instructed that no chicken must be eaten during the sittings of this co
Thank you my dear, please, do you or anyone know how we can reach Lai Mohammed to answer why the chicken crossed the road.
Jokes Etc / Re: World Leaders Explains Why The Chicken Crossed The Road by kinharold(m): 11:57pm On Apr 28, 2013
Pls somebody should ask Lai Mohammed, Okupe and Abati why the chicken crossed the road. I think they can explain better.

Didn't the guy resign because he was involved in some malpractices? - and is he the only qualified person for a ministerial post in a country of more than 150 million people? So much for Nigerian intelligentsia and academics smh...

You lot deserve the type of leaders you get... Perhaps, the assertion about the IQ of 69 has an element of truth to it...
I think you really need to check your facts again. ...the guy did not resign cos of ANY malpractice. Check again.

Also, your idea of "is he the only qualified person for a ministerial post in a country of more than 150 million people? is the reason we are still in this shit hole as a country. A situation where we put round pegs in square holes. just anybody is given ministerial appointment base on politics and not according to their competence.

Pls do a check again on the technical competence of Prof Nnaji and i am sure like every sincere Nigerian, you too will want him back fast, fast

Instead of all this faffing about, why not approve a decent oil derivation % for oil producing states (say like 50%), and empower NDDC better to concentrate on world-class projects that benefit the entire region, rather than the present situation where they get involved in local gov't level projects like clinics, boreholes, classroom blocks, hostels, etc;
My dear, I dont know if live anywhere in the Niger Delta. This is exactly what we see here everywhere. Almighty NDDC and co engaging in construction of convent, drainage for lanes borehole etc instead of capital intensive projects that can befit the region in the long run.
