Please, let me ask; I pray I get a good answer cos I really don't understand it myself.

Accident deaths are highly regrettable but sometimes i wonder why there is so much fuss about plane crash and deaths?, NASS will probe it, the president will be involved, Airline is banded, sometimes minister and some high office holders loose their job. Deaths in road accidents in a year is in hundreds and sometimes in thousands. In about the same week of the Associated Airline crash that killed about 13 persons, the boat accidents on the River Niger killed scores of persons including 29 women but nothing much was head about it after that day.

Hope it is not because air passengers/victims are most-likely of the rich class.

Please, I just need explanations.

NONSENSE! The only restructuring that makes sense is RESOURCE CONTROL. Let every state control its human and material resources and pay taxes to the centre. That will automatically remove all the attraction from the centre and the states will become the new centre of attraction. Corruption and struggle for power at the centre will automatically reduce. Healthy competition among states will return. State govts that cannot survive alone will automatically merge. In fact, most of the problems we see today will either disappear or becomes a local issue (restricted to within states). Any other talk apart from resource control is NONSENSE and playing to the gallery.

Our greatest challenge is that we "lie" to ourselves that we are one people or nation. Nigeria is one country made up of many uniquely different Nations. How can you tell a Man from Sokoto State that he is a brother to the man from Abia state. How is a Nupe man related with an Ijaw man? It can be on paper but it will be difficult in practice. The recognition of our differences will help us know how to live well and relate with each other. A core northern has a completely different civilization, education and culture from his southern counterpart. What a typical southerner takes as education and civilization is "HARAM'" to a core northerner. Western education and culture vs Eastern education and culture.

True Federalism is the answer. What we have now is a Unitary structure and government imposed by the military in 1966. Boko Haram, Sharia issues and Militancy wouldn't have come up to this magnitude in a true federalism.

I dont know the exact spot of the accident but we must understand that there are two Elele towns in that axis of rivers state. One is along Owerri/PH road, while the other (Elele Azumini) is along the East/West road linking Port Harcourt and Bayelsa.

When I wrote the post I was careful to ask for "objective discussion" unfortunately with the high level of lead filled brains and intellectual low lives we now have here on Nairaland, that are blinded with emotional sentiments, it is obvious that that is too much to ask for.

For your info: I am a minister in my church and the youth leader, with about 300 youths under my able leadership. The question I asked is a very critical question that has been asked several times by several youths/teenagers, Pastors and particularly Female Pastors that counsel these teenagers.

Simply answer me as a Christian(Aside the senate and their misguided vote): WHAT IS THE AGE FOR MARRIAGE IN CHRISTIANITY?, HOW DO YOU DETERMINE UNDERAGE. (I ddnt mention 6, 9, or any age at that)

These are questions we should all be ready to answer for us to be able to speak well against the Senate on this and be able to answer/guild the teenagers when the issue comes up.

Regarding marriage (which is the major bone of contention here), naturally/biologically a lady is fully mature for childbirth even before the 18 years "adult" mark. The 18 years mark for adulthood that we rely on today was fixed by the same lawmakers. As Christians the Bible/God didnt give any clear instruction regarding age for marriage or maturity unlike in Islam.

While the issue is critical and regrettable, let me ask please. (For seek of objective discussion)

Who is it that determines when somebody is under-aged?
What is the criteria used in determining that someone is underage.

A good crew (like mine ) to pull off your great idea, beautiful set, logistics and good post production don't come cheap. That's not the heavy lifting as Nigerian TV stations will then take you for all you've got
Don't think they wouldn't compare your show with the ones out there, your sponsors will be the first to. I'm sure you compared Got Talent (home and abroad) with Peak Talent Hunt. So make those shows your base mark

So far no Nigerian Reality show has cut it - that's why they die. That's why its easier to buy franchise (proj fame, Got Talent, idols) or model it around a successful show (ultimate search). Well, from the look of things Rochas is on his own. I can recall he never made consultations before going to the APC. he is going to find it difficult dragging others with him.

Owelle should not deceive himself. People are rallying around him and supporting him now because he is(comparatively) doing very well in Imo state. But if he decides to join Boko Haram and expect Ndi'gbo to follow him, he is seriously deceiving himself. Ndi'gbo will just see him off to the gate and dump him there.

No sane Igbo person will have anything to do with a "Boko Haram". I think what Igbos basically need as a people is not a change of party but a chance to be the "Oga @ the top".

Thanks 4 your comment. The reality show is now on and going on successfully and steadily. It is a regional Talent Hunt Reality show project. Auditions has started, with more than a thousand registrations.

I am from Ika North East LGA which falls under Delta North and truth be told, I'm yet to see any purposeful leader among this present breeds of greedy politicians from Delta North. So truth be told, regional politics won't help us in Delta.

He forgot how he started, he forgot that he had no backing whatsoever at the national level of the party; no Oga at the top for him. He forgot how he fought against his own party and embarrassed the mighty OBJ. He became too bold and over confident, making challenging comments against the presidency. Worst of all, he started seeking affiliations with the wrong persons in a way that is against the interest of the generality of his own people.

Dokubo is definitely not the best man for this kind of assertions but he is really following a precedence. We ALL remember what Buhari said during the 2011 general elections. That he will make the country ungovernable for GEJ if he buhari dd not win. And truly he has made good that threat with the current security situation in the country. Nigeria could have been grounded completely if the scale of Boko Haram activities were to be happening in the south-south.

There is something I do not get. How is Amaechi insulting the presidency in a democratic setting. Can someone shed light on this.

He was not directly insulting the presidency but he was seen as being too bold and over confident of himself. So the "Abuja Boys" need to show workings in order to prove their loyalty to "Oga at the top". I 'm sure that if you ask "oga at the top" he may not have any personal thing against Amaechi but the boys need to earn their choppings.

This is exactly where his problems came from. He has very well succeeded in completely taking over the political structure in the state, including that of the so called opposition. Just this April end, they deducted 5000 from our account without any notice or information. we have used that account for more than a year now and such has not happened before. When we called our account officer, he said that is the new monthly charge for account maintenance. He even advised that we should change our account type to a different one.

I will ask my Oga at the top to ask some high level men of God why the chicken crossed the road. Main-while, the police said it has arrested several birds, ducks, pigeons etc over the incident and is asking everyone to remain calm and go about their lawful duties, assuring that investigation into why the chicken crossed the road is on-going. Also, the Senate has condemned the action of the chicken in crossing the road. When contacted, the spokesperson for the SSS did not respond to our call.

This administration did not create the chicken neither did we construct the road the chicken is trying to cross.
