One of the heaviest books I've read I do admit. Helps that I have experience of old German-to-English translations, as they have a style that often struggles to cross over. Some knowledge of the philosophers he quotes does help very much too, which makes me place it at third year philosophy level for awareness, though not Nigeria level, and not even UK level where summary might do. For comprehension, I'd say masters at least, with lots of dedication. I have not read any other book since I started it.

Sorry I didn't choose something simpler. He's worth it for the brain exercise.

Her children came to meet me this morning that they wanna help me with chores and I refused. I asked them to go back home.

Few minutes later the mother came to my house requesting why I've been ignoring her calls. I told her I don't want anything to do with her or her children as I don't want to feel like I'm taking advantage of her kids or sending them errands.

She said I'm the only one since they have moved here who has taken care of her kids. That people send them errands a lot and don't even give the kids food or money for the work they do.

It might just be "cover up" tactics sha! But, no stress yourself ontop them. For what you're providing for them, I know for a fact, many parents won't mind you sending them on small small errands. Unless the person is an ungrateful ingrate, of which there are many.

At least, we've agreed having a 13year old do some job isn't a crime. We both know, there is no issue with asking a parent to have their child do some unpaid job. It's common societal courtesy and part of communal upbringing.

Even the isolated whites do it. Karen can have Tracy's daughter(with Tracy's permission of course) to come and do sime baby sitting for a couple of hours.. the same happens the other way round.. why are you acting like you're just seeing something like this happen in society?
