Many moons ago and I am talking of the golden period between 1979 -1983 during Shagari’s era one gentleman was made a commissioner in Ogun State, we all lived in the same neighbourhood in Ibadan City back then. We were happy for the family, we joked with the kids of this distinguish gentleman, saying “ your papa don hammer oh”, they brushed it aside insisting and letting us know nothing has changed except for the brand new official Peugeot 504 his dad now uses and his orderly who sat in front with the driver. The man was a commissioner for 4 good years b4 Buhari and his co-plotters upstaged Shagari not knowing what would hit the land after them(Buhari & Idiagbon) would be some real scoundrels, real turn-coats who has thrown shame and morality into the wind for a few fistful dollars. Men with no moral compass whatsoever, they became the norm, the new ruling class, the New Nigerians, their ways, habits, mannerism and demeanour became ‘a must copy act’, their shadowy behaviour persist till this day and it cut across all parties in the land today. In my quite and silent time, I thought of that gentleman again sometime last week, and straight away I knew our country has truly gone to the dogs, a titanic shift for the worse has occurred never to be remedied, we can never have selfless men like that gentleman again. Those breed of Nigerians are extinct, today what we have are men like ‘Ajimobi’, ‘Fayemi’ the Osun Governor, Fashola, Oshiomole and a few others. This Gentleman after his commissionership went back to his family home using the same old family car till he passed away sometime in the early 90’s. No stupendous and sudden wealth after, that was a period when you were called to serve and you serve like a true servant would serve his master. Now what you have are men who call themselves self made men running for office. At the last count Ajimobi has 4 houses in Nigeria all worth more than a million $1dollar, yet he has no visible viable business employing Nigerians in their hundreds or even thousands on the ground, same thing with Fayemi, he has assets worth N750 million in Nigeria, that is well over £3 million pounds yet no visible business employing Nigerians, the Oshun man did not declare his assets, I am sure it cannot be less than a few million dollars. Oshiomole who will all know was NLC Chairman (and NLC and not the most generous employer) is probably a millionaire now like his co-patriots in ACN, so is Fashola, if the obscene wealth of his predecessor is anything to go by after his stint as the Governor of the state, bearing in mind the speaker of the house of Assembly of the State makes a good N7 Billion a month. Fashola’s wealth would be unfathomable. ![]() I am not having a go at 'ACN Governors' far from it, I am only comparing them with this Gentleman since they are the next best thing to Angels in present day Nigeria, they are the darlings and the super Governors of this new dispensation hence my reason for using them as a comparable yardstick. When compared to that gentleman who was made a commissioner so many years ago, one can see that those who declared their assets have already prepared the ground in anticipation. It makes no logic why Ajimobi or Fayemi would go and sojourn in a foreign land for years when they have assets worth a few million dollars in Nigeria, just take a cursory look at our Nollywood starlets and Musicians with a few thousand dollars in their accounts, why don’t they upstick and move to America, UK or Canada, why are they living in Nigeria, the fact and the truth is your mind, body and soul would always be where your wealth is, hence the reasons why these Nigerian celebrities live in Nigeria. They only go abroad to make money at the back of an ever demanding Diaspora community and after such sojourn they go back to where it all began, the honey-pot of their wealth or where the oasis of their wealth is located. With regards to PDP Governors, let us don’t even go there, those Governors are on sit for only one purpose, share allocation amongst friends, families and cronies, their crimes are well documented and there would be no need repeating or boring you with what you all know hence my reason for not mentioning them. With regards to all other Parties not mentioned their plight is just like those of ACN, same strategy, same way of thinking. Looks like the last honest Politician has died and his DNA was never preserved, we are now left with second rated politicians as modern day champions, how are wish we can reverse the clock to that bygone era. |
Damage Limitation by the Governor, I bet they have probably found a husband for the lady in question so as to keep it under wraps. Obviously that would be acceptable to the first lady, anything to move her 'wayward sister' away from her husband. I won’t be surprise if some unknown man comes out all guns blazing, warning all asunder from peddling wild rumours about his wife. Nice try Gov, but after pulling this fantastic publicity stunt in other to repudiate a clear and proven scandal at least try to keep your philandering ‘JT’ from that woman’s cookies or hell would break loose again, Madame cannot keep on forgiven you, we all know “hell has no fury like a woman scorned” |
I hope the 52 countries in Africa would take note of this milestone. Politics should not be a do or die affair. Politicians should take an election as one of those pitfalls and perils of life if the pendulum does not swing in one's favour. Not one person's blood amongst the 150 million Nigerians and probably the 400 million African blood is worth any spillage over a spurious, sacrilege, dubious and selfish election results. Our new Chief Justice of Nigeria has called for the death penalty for corrupt politicians, I would say to the honourable Chief Justice that "charity must first begin at home" the Judiciary must be reminded that they are an independent organ of Government and they should not cower when carrying out their constitutional duties whether for the res peondent or the appellant of any case they are involved in, even if that person is the President of the nation. They should base their judgements on clearly prima facia facts and figures given detailed ex·po·sé of how they arrived at their decision. If Mr Jonathan has tampared, tempered or bully anyone in any way or manner, the justice department has the constitutional right and duty to " right a wrong" this duty should not be taken lightly, we would be expecting the judiciary to pronounce the true winner of the April elections without flinching or scared of 'goring anyone's oar'. I hope the Chief Justice would borrow a leaf from the gratitious news coming from Zambia when carry out their pronoucemet. We would hope the rhetoric's the Chief Justice displayed b4 the Senators are not empty and hollow promises employed to buoyed his own self confidence issues before the Senate. Literally many Nigerians including my humble self believe this Chief Justice tenure would usher in a departure from the flimsiness and avarice kangaroo courts that have blighted our judiciary, we shall be observing his every moves, we noted his enthusiam in effecting change , we have taken his words and his demeanor as sacred, reverred words from a true honourable gentleman, I hope we would not be dissappointed. |
Thank u guysYou can be suffering from one illness to the other because of 'defiance' on your part, I am somebody that believes in the bible if you are not following the tenents of the bible, badluck, ju-ju, and all kind of sundry and unsavoury powers could easily attack you. On the other hand if you are 'obeident' and follow God's work with zeal you can also be attacked by the devil - just like 'job' was attacked in the bible. The moral of the story is you have to stand steadfast in what you believe in and follow it to the logical end, even if death is stiring you in the face. |
I have spoken of this subject b4. The new chief justice is only retirating what I have preached once upon atime see excerpts below. Face Fireing squad if you steal more than 5 Million Naira. First and foremost there should be a general amnesty to all politicians and their cronies, the black-board SHOULD be wipe clean, everyone should be giving a second chance to start afresh and clean up their acts. If we have hope of seeing the promise land this steps must be taking with immediate effect. I promise Nigeria would be a developed nation in less than 15 years if we can pass this resolution into law. Firing Squad – If you Embezzle, steal, misappropriate N5 Million and above. 20 years imprisonment – If u steal between N3 and N4.99 Million- banned from politics for life 10 years imprisonment – If u steal between N2 and N3.99 Million- banned from politics for Life 5 years imprisonment – If u steal between N1 and N1.99 Million plus 2 years political ban 2.5 years imprisonment – If u steal between N100,000 and N999,999.00 Million plus 5 years political ban Suspended from all political appointments for 3 years for any amount between N1000.00 and N99,999.00 Salaries of House of Reps and Senators: - N5million for Senators and N4million for Reps men this amount should include all expenses.(Although a luxurious Apartment called “ Assembly Apartments” shall be provided for all members at the expense of the state) A full audit of all merchandise and stock in all Apartments would be taken before a member assumes tenancy and after term ends or failure to return occurs in the electoral process, this would reduce cases of abject blatant theft and outright brigandage to the barest minimum. Governors shall be paid N4 Million a year including perks, Mr President would be on N7 million a year and VP on N6 million a year. Britain has already made 25% cuts in its expenses I don’t see a reason why a developing nation like ours should be paying our House men more than the President of America, yet we cannot even produce a needle. This issue should be address now, let some common sense prevail at least for once in our life. For the law to take root the forecast would be as follows :- 5 Politicians to be shot by firing squad within 3 years of the law becoming operational, this would taper down to zero by year 5 and 6. 20 Politicians to fall within the 20 year imprisonment category within the 1st 3 years. 40 Politicians to fall within the 10 year imprisonment category within the 1st 3 years 80 Politicians to fall within the 5 year imprisonment category within the 1st 3 years 150 Politicians to fall within the 2.5 year imprisonment category within the 1st 3 years 300 Politicians to fall within the N1000 – N99,999.00 category within the 1st 3 years By year 10 we should have a complete zero corruption especially corruption running into millions and billions of Naira. El-dorado that fictional utopian would be a reality rather than a pipe dream. In our time we have shot, hanged some good men, Maman Vatsa, Dele Giwa, Ken-Saro Wiwa, why not sacrifice some of these gluttonic thieves for a better Nigeria. The issue discuss here must be entrenched into our law, how, I don’t know how, but it is something millions of Nigerians would want as part and parcel of our Identity. The Chinese shot bent and crooked business men for corruption, today they are without a shadow of doubt the most liquid nation on Earth, with untouched funds going to about $300 billion. China can pay of the UK’s debt in a year, this is the kind of nation we should be trailing and not the old Western Democracies. |
When you set the language on Microsoft Word, it has the language, and then the country next to it, because the languages vary by country. There's Canadian English, American English, Australian English, even Zimbabwean English. There is " Nigerian English" not necessarily pidgin English. Pidgin is an offshoot of Nigerian English. Nigerian English is derived from a direct translation from a local indigenious language to English. EXAMPLE- "mo nbo si ile e lola" is a yoruba word, a direct translation would be - "I am coming to your house tommorrow" . To say it in standard English would be " I shall pay you a visit tommorrow OR I would be paying you a visit tommorrow". So it is wrong for any one to think Nigerian-English does not exist. Nollywood even though they speak what appears as Standard English relatively they speak mostly in Nigerian English. |
This video is very interesting. Those of us who did not witness the kiriji wars and yoruba internal wars this is the best description of what transpired those days. From the video click you can see this guy is a true God Father, forget those Godfathers in the North or East, forget Tinubu, this is the last Yoruba Genralisimmo, even though his influence and sphere of authority was only Oyo State he held supreme power in that state. Check the Guys beside him, you can tell they are subservient towards him, all they wanted and were waiting for was an endorsement and it becomes a law. He is actually talking of the state Governor, he said the Governor is fighting this one and that one, the Governor of the state gave some thugs some money to undermine Adedibu, the thugs called baba Adedibu in the evening informing him the Governor gave us 5 cars and some money to attack you, but they in their wisdom felt they had to inform the baba sale- or God Father of what transpired between them and the Governor. Adedibu said all those here today God would bless you, he started singing that God would see us through and fight our battles for us, it was a sing along with the crowd singing along. God would give us a Governor that would allow us to eat and be satisfied not that stingy man we have, anyway his days are numbered. This Governor is 'oloriburuku -Useless' and I can assure you we are going to ship him out. When the Governor ran for office on the campaign trail ask the stupiiiiiddd Goverenor did his father go on the trail m with him, despite the fact that I am least 25 years older than him I went on the trail with him, how did the Governor pay us back " Oloriburuku" this was the qusetion I asked Obasanjo. SONG travailed those salient points, the crowd start chanting " Alhaji say it d way you deem fit, all these pretenders wound be swept away. According to the Christine religion, they say there are 3 daities, God the Father, and his Child and the holy spirit. I want to explain or give you an insight into these 3 daities, you see the Father is " God" who created us, and his son is Jesus Christ, you see the holy spirit is Obasanjo. Obasanjo is the holy spirits. Another round of song and praises for Olusegun Obasanjo, if not for Aremu we would all be suffering. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMy_x1QAP4k |
When it comes to national language it should still be standard English but when they are rounding up a disater story they can throw in soundbites such as " e be like say katakata wan burst for that area" this kind of news would be different from any standard news from Britain, Australia or USA. Just like d NewZealanders have embraced d " Haka" we should throw in some popular pidgn soundbites into our news. |
What I have observed thus (people who grew up speaking it try as much as possible to distance themselves from that language) I am talking from experience here, my wife grew up in ikeja cantonement and there, there is only one lingua Franca " pidgin" hence why she hates it so much, yet she still speaksout to me & expect her daughter not to pick it up. Meanwhile d ajebutters who can not speak pidgin are dying to speak it, I don't gent it, one hand somebody who grew up speaking it hates it but most of d kids who grew outside Naija think it is cool. Strange one I must say, I personally dont't have a problem with d lingo, in fac it is evolving like American English. What is bad is speaking unadulterated pidgin without any correct English, but d way I see d development of Pidgin in Naija it is moving from d pure form to a kind of beautiful mix, where good or correct English is at home with d indgineous language and Pidgin. It is beautiful if is all mixed up like that. |
Aiye is Life – ‘Aiye lo pa’ – ‘Na life kill am’ – means when one indulges in some perils of life that is over indulgence, like drinking too much or snorting cocaine too much or even bleeping women without condom too much, the consequence of all these actions is what is called ‘aiye’. You die by the life style you have chosen. |
It is a shame people who grow up speaking pidgin try their possible best to run away from the language example Mr Richard Mofe-Damijo and my wife who is Edo, we converse generally in English and Pidgin. So the other day in a super-market in London my wife was horrified when my 3 year old daughter shouted at me” oga come now”(my wife calls me ‘oga’ most times rather calling me by my name) my daughter was telling me to hurry up otherwise her and mother would leave me behind. A lot of Nigerians and other Africans around just started laughing. My wife was clearly embarrassed, but I just said there is nothing to be ashamed off. I told my wife that no-how, no-how this child would speak like any other Britico kid when the time comes but pidgin is her heritage. My wife said which kind ye-ye heritage be that, 'poverty heritage'(I wonder why people equate pidgin with poverty) that she would have prefer her speaking Edo or Yoruba than speaking pidgin. |
‘Gambari’ pa ‘Fulani’ ko sejo be – Hausa man kills Fulani man there is no case to answer? |
NIGERIAN REVOLUTION PARTY GAINS POWER HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Those stuuupid fooools(House of Assembly members) getting peanuts from the state Governor must engage their brains and their sensibilities now; if they cannot see the opportunism that has presented herself on a platter of Gold now then they must be a dumb lot. I bet Chime would be throwing money at them like a mad man, they should not fall for his cheap bait, why bribe us with what belongs to us, grasp power now fooools!!!! ![]() |
There are no permanent friends in politics only permanent interest. |
HIS Radicalism is like sweet news to our ears at the ‘Nigerian Revolution Party’, perhaps we might adopt him as our leader and furnish him with our more radicalised views, I know he would accommodate some of them, I look forward to hearing from him, perhaps we can work together. |
Wetin dey do this our yeye rubber stamp Legislative houses in Naija. Abi the guys for Enugu House no get ambition. If a man is giving you ‘toro’ ‘kobo’ or for a better word some ‘loose change’ make una dey use am chill, don’t you idioooots in the house want to be the one dishing out the loose change. I would have expected the speaker and the Deputy Governor to be having nocturnal meetings by now, hatching a nefarious deal where the Deputy Governor would become Governor and Speaker would become Deputy Governor, of course the house-men would all be carried along and handsomely paid for a good hatchet job. Why wait for the yeye crumbs wey Chime dey give una, it is time to strike, a lion does not sit down idle when he/she spots a weak and disposes Antelope. “Mojeri” or ‘ I trust Akala’ when he realise his boss was drowning he struck carrying all the legislatures with him, If I in London can smell blood how much those blind bats at the House of Assembly. Me I don talk my own, ![]() |
The first woman on this earth was trouble (Eve)It is this kind of un-balanced thinking that makes one wonder whether some people on this forum has any grey matter at all. Are u saying your mother is evil since she is a woman. We must not condone this young man's lurid sex fantasy and shambolic behavior. |
I am not a big fan of SLS, but in the absence of our Party NRP(Nigerian Revolution Party) winning the Presidency, SLS remains the most controversial, radical Northerner that I would support. I believe through him the NRP can polish some of her extreme policies to meet half way with conventional thinking. SLS remains a rough diamond that can be moulded. |
In other climes this Governor would be forced to resign, but here he is celeberated, how can any man in his correct senses impregenate their wife's junior sister? and yet we think our leaders are mentally capable of ruling. Some idiooots the other day on this forum was even banding this guy's name for presidency. May God help us from all these 'Moral Bankrupt men' at the helms of affairs of our nation. We are a doomed nation with the cause of Sodom and Gommorah hanging over our heads. |
hecks the value of land in the SE compare to SW region. (Lagos is not in SouthWest region, (pre civil war) for your information, tho it is in SW geopolitical zone,1994)Check your facts b4 posting, Some part of Lagos Mainland, Badagry, Epe, Ikorodu and Ikeja and Agege where all under Western Region. They send reps to Ibadan. The Island, Apapa, Yaba and Surulere where the Federal territories. Going beyond Surulere you where in Western region. |
Vote Nigerian Revolution Party, and see this nation change for good. |
CuteTJYou are the one not getting it. Aregbesola is a Lagosian either by birth or by very long residence, making him the 'Baba Sale' or point-man or Main Man in Alimosho LG. At the same token he is an indigene of Oshun state through his Parents who are Ijeshas, he might even be born their. That makes him therotetically elegible to contest in both states for elective post if he so desires. |
afam4eva. Arent there Nigerians that are councillors and lawmakers in the US & UK?? Arnold from Austria was a governor in US so what's your point. Pls do your research before making statements that are not intelligent.Don't mind him jare, just because such progressive idea can never take place east of the Niger does not mean is not right. we all know even if you are born in Abia State and you are a 'non indigene' in that state nothing for you, a warped and terrible retrogressive, tribalistic and clannish policy by dum Governor. |
Fantastic Interview This man is really a Field Marshall, he even referred to himself as the Generalissimo of 'Alimosho Politics', I think with his 100% delivery during last election he is the Generalisimmo of Osun Politics, Commuting that dastardly PDP into an incognito party, no wonder Omisore is now desperate to become a 'Boko Haramite' oga gan Aregbesola I beg carry go jooor, !!!!!!!!!Osun State governor, Abdulrauf Aregbesola has been in the news since he was sworn into office last November after a protracted legal tussle to have his victory in the 2007 election affirmed. Mr Aregbesola speaks on the rumour over health, as well as his development plans and his role in Lagos politics, among others. Excerpts: Rumour of ill health Talking about my health, it’s not for me to say because this is life. However, looking at me closely and from the person talking with you now, whom some of you have known for a couple of years back, when you see an unsound or an infirm person, it does not require stories. But mere seeing me, you can tell that all is well. There was no basis for the speculation at all. Another way to prove this was during the elections in April. My party cleared all the seats contested. I was the arrowhead of the campaign for my party, the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in the state of Osun, that delivered that result. President Goodluck Jonathan won elections in all the South West states except here. This is the only state our presidential candidate won. If I had been sick, how could I have mobilised the party to the extent of winning the elections so massively in my state in April? A man could not have led a party to achieve such a victory in April and by May and you started concocting stories of his illness. The story that was circulated was that I fell in my bathtub and I broke my leg. In fact, Vanguard reported that. By the time I went to China, it had escalated and we thought that so many of the activities in China published with pictures would have silenced these people. Compass Newspaper crowned it some 15 days ago with a front-page banner. This will be shocking to even an enemy. The story published in Compass even indicated medical reports which is not true. The only medical I went through was in India and that was a rigorous one. I even conducted an endoscopic test and the outcome of the entire test is that I’m fully fit. His many foreign trips The trip of May was at the invitation of the Mayor of Southwark, who is an Osun indigene from Iwo. The invitation was pending for a year and he wanted us to honour him by our attendance at the Mayor’s Conference. It was also meant for the late Mayor to formalise a bond between his borough in the UK and all the 31 local government councils in this state so that they can benefit from whatever support they can get. My travels are public and on records. The first was to the Borough of Southwark in the United Kingdom, purely on official assignment. After that, I took some few days off just to rest and during that period, I detached every aide that came with me. None of them knew where I was. After that I returned to resume my work. In June, my daughter was graduating in Dubai. In fact, I wanted to attend it all by myself, but close associates like Pa Akande were there. The only thing that indicated a medical attention was that my local doctor has been persuading me to go for medical check-up. After finishing the graduation, I went to India to conduct the test and returned to Nigeria. I used that opportunity because Dubai was closer to India than taking off direct from Nigeria. My doctor wanted me to go to the U.S. Eventually, we went to India for an intensive press scan, which was designed to identify any trace of ailment. On that trip, we spent one week and came back to Nigeria. Like I said it was just a check-up. My next travel was to China on the invitation of All China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), the first to be extended to any state governor in Nigeria. The Executive Secretary of the Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU), Hassan Sumonu, facilitated this trip. Agreements were signed that would make Chinese firms to establish industries in Osun State and enable our state access official Chinese government assistance. My Deputy, Otunba Grace Titilayo Laoye-Tomori, holds forte and has performed state functions to my satisfaction whenever I am not around. His involvement in Lagos politics I have no quarrel with anybody in Lagos and even here in Osun. I have been involved in Lagos for half a century and do you think it is possible to disconnect myself from Lagos politics within just a year? Even if I wanted to, it is not possible. Go down there now (pointing to his waiting room), they are 10 persons from Lagos waiting to see me. They believe that once they see me their problems are solved, even when it may not be possible for me to solve all problems. Our opponents take these issues to ridiculous extent because they don’t want healthy rivalry. Remember I was in the Lagos Exco for eight years and you cannot be active politically without being active underground or in the grassroots. I am the Generalissimo of Alimosho politics because I am one of their own and have been involved in their affairs for such a long time. No matter what, you can neither take me away from Alimosho nor take Alimosho away from me. That has no negative effects in the running of state of affairs here. Challenges of governing the state Going by the slogan of this state (Ipinle Omoluabi), it is unfortunate that not much work has been done before now. Much more importantly, however, we have been able to provide an identity for the state, call it rebranding if you want. Even at the critical level, before rain began in Nigeria, we had started dredging of all the canals in the state. At the time it rained heavily this year, instead of houses to be flooded, raindrops were channeled to the canal and there was no room for flooding in the state. Our intervention has given relief to the people, who have endured constant flooding in the past years. We have models for state-of-the-art intervention for education infrastructure and this covers the primary, secondary and even tertiary institutions in the state. Ede water works have been abandoned for several years and this facility covers about 15 local governments, but now we have awarded contracts to put things back in shape and about 26 percent of the job is underway. In the next six months, we will have up to 50 percent of the job done. Delay in appointing commissioners When people talk, I get amused. We assumed office on November 25th, 2010. Since then, it has been a successful outing, especially fulfilling a great feat with my commissioners and I can say that they are the best set of commissioners any state can boast of in this country. Initially, people were talking about our delay to constitute the state cabinet without realising the stiff opposition we had faced from the rival party in the legislature. When we came in, the PDP had about 19 members to ACN’s seven in the state House of Assembly and they were bosom traps we were trying to avoid. From day one, their plans were to oust us and when we knew their plans and their sponsors, we designed strategies to truncate them. Although the constitution states that we should appoint commissioners, it did not give any specific timeframe or deadline and when we were ready to appoint commissioners, we got the best people around to do the job. |
These two guys give them half a chance they seem to deliver(let us forget Yakubu's terrible miss during the world cup for a moment, that might be due to over excitement and undue pressure) I think it is time we open a new leaf by injecting the most leathal strike force we currently have into the national psyhe. These guys if they continue doing what they know best might even deliver the world cup someday, never say never. What is your thoughts ladies and gents, ![]() |
Another puzzle from Gaddaffi's crumbling empire and regime. Last week we read ABOUT Gaddafi's General escaping to 'the Niger Republic' and Northern Nigeria. I thought for a moment how come Gaddaffi has Generals when he himself is a Colonel who is commanding who? This is obviously another classical strange legacy of the Gaddaffi regime, he seems to enjoy doing things upside down, No wonder he couldn't see the writings on the wall. ![]() |
How come the igbo of Anambra stock and in general, how come they are not planning a nice luxurious condone opposite the River Niger considering the Igbo's in diasporas are a very large community in the USA and beyond that can be tapped into for patronage. I am talking of something similar in scale to "Eko Atalantic City" . If Ontisha is getting ready to be a new re-generated commercial hub surely a nice luxirous condone opposite the Niger would fit the billing of this city so long the developments are not over priced. I believe going by the antecedents of the Igbos, being traders and business-like in general, they should be able to pull it off without any recourse to any Federal input. |
You mention a process of social engineering and recolonizationThe word is social re-engineering and not social engineering. There is a difference. Most of our Northern brothers have being programmed to behave and think in a certain way we would have to re-engineer that thinking if need be. It could only happen when there is a complete breakdown of law and order as you have in Borno and Plateu State. We shall respect customs, traditions that are not inimical and a threat to the survival of the state. |
NICE IDEA, BUT A STITCH IN TIME SAVES 9- LETS ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF ***ZONING*** NOW BEFORE WE GET THERE .WHERE WILL THE FIRST PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT FOR THIS PARTY COME FROM ? .The issue of zoning is a non-issue, such platitudes are roughish, cynical, and smacks of irrevocable corruption, the twin headed hydrant monster that has destroyed and humiliated our nation, turning a once proud people into destitute, who would rather prefer facing bullets from rebels in Tripoli than going back to their home country. The bitter truth is there is no money to be made if you are the top man or the bottom man in the kind of society we are pivoting, ours is an equitable society where everything would be done openly, transparency in our society would be a 1000 times better than what it is in the so called established democracy. Contracts would be bided openly, with potential contra tees show casing their projects OPENLY, the people would listen and send in text messages of their preferred bidder, whoever wins gets the job, we shall embrace all kinds of new media outlets available to us in other to improve our transparency, transparency shall be one of our cardinal points. |
Of course he is beginning to sound like any regular politician, whether he realises this or not is a different matter. The bottom-line is there would not be any need for NRP to come join issues with any other established parties tussling for power or what-not if things are done the right way. In Britain or America we do not have a “British Revolution Party” or an “American Revolution Party” why should we have a NRP. But things in Nigeria are done the wrong way, most of the Governors in Nigeria after serving only 4 years in office are richer than the American President or British Prime-Ministers that can be right in a poor nation like ours. There is something fundamentally wrong with our society. The Society is fast spiralling into a state of anarchy, hence the inspired bold steps taken by some patriots to redress the anomalies of our society. These are men with a different thinking, a different calling and a different perspective, who are selfless to self and have chosen to throw their hats into the ring for the good of the nation. There’s is to establish a party that would be people orientated and lift the perils of the black race and Nigeria as nation from one of misery and damnation to what one can term an egalitarian and equitable society. |
All Nigeria Airforce needs when a killing or an incident has taken place anywhere around Plateau state is to scramble up an helicopter with "heat seeking cameras" it would detect any breathing living thing around the area where the dastardly and cowardly act has taken place no matter where they hide. Obviously by coordinaating with ground forces they should be able to apprehend the culprits. |
