What I like about renumerations is that a young boy of 19 who joins at 19 after O' level will be getting N35,000.00. If he is still in service after 10 years he would be getting N135,000.00 and if does the full stint he would retire at N390,000.00 A YEAR or thereabout. 30 + 19 = 49 at 49 years of age he would start receiving a pension of N234,000 or 60 % of his last wage Inflation linked for the rest of his life. That would be fantastaic for someone with just o' levels. I work closely with British Army and I am aware what they get especially if u have put in the years, in the UK it is 20 years then u start drawing a pension from the age u retire. |
The only reason why the proxy war has gone on for too long in the creeks is becuse the army gets bogged down by doing duties that are below them. Supervising and standing as a guard in elections in Ekiti is not the reason why people join the army. With the establishment of the national Guards the army can be free to deploy soldiers to those areas of conflict with a maximum force. I dont see any reason why 50,000 soldiers are not yet hibernating in the creeks of the delta today, by now the army should have between 3 to 4 battalions in the creeks the only reason why this is not so, is because their hands are filled up to the brim with a lot of mundane stuffs. |
Unemployement ! Unemployement !! unemployement !!! Goverment comes, Goverment goes, yet this menace of unemployement to the society continues unabated without the slytest ting of any improvement. I will like to give any progressive goverment who is at power and those who are planning to grasp power within the next 18 months, there might be a solution to the huge unemployment facing the nation. Creation of a National Guard Service The National Guard will be semi- miltiary force that deals mainly with internal conflicts in the Country example the Jos ethnic strife. Make-up of the National Guard 1. At the moment we have NYSC, after finishing the service, men or women between the ages 19 years to 35 years if they have not found permanenet jobs will have an option of Joining the National Guard Service. The time and window of joining would be open for 2 months after the end of their respective Service. Thereafter they would have missed the opportunity of joining that year, but maywell have to apply again the following year without any guarantees. Put simply, by Corpers not joining in their NYSC passing out year they have lost the previledge of an automatic ticket of joining . The Following year they would have to compete with other un-employed Nigerians from other stratas of life who would also like to join but are not graduates. 2. The national Guard would consist of 1000 individuals per state from 36 states and 500 from the FCT. 3. 75% of the Guardsmen would be giving to Nigerians with a degree, recruited directly from the NYSC, whilst those with school cert upwards will fill the other 25%. These 25% would also include individuals who are above the threshold age of 35 years and who for one reason or the other will like to be a Guardsman. The threshold for those over 35 would 50 years. 4. The Guards Service shall be headed by a Military Officer of the Rank of Colonel in each state or equivalent and shall be assited by 2 majors. The Colonel-in Cheif of the Guardsmen would be based in Guards HQ in the Capital of the State. The Guardsmen 1000 Guardsmen would be divided into 2 sections in each state. 400 Men would be in the Southern part of the State while another 400 men would be in the Northern part of the state or the equivalent if East-West normenclature is preferred to North / South 5. 100 Guards men would be based in the State Capital with another 100 acting as support staffs for the Colonel and the 2 Majors. 6. The 2 Majors shall be supported by two captains of 200 men per Captain in each State. While a Captain will command the 100 Guardsmen in the State Capital. 7. In times of peace or state's with relative peace the Guardsmen shall be allowed to take paid appointments in the states where they are posted, the essence is to fill those skill gaps like shortage of teachers in rural areas. These supplementary income would boost the wages of the Guardsmen even further. They would be paid the full pay of a teacher or lecturer as the case might be. 8. Runemaration - All Guardsmen shall start at very bottom of the ladder which in this instance shall be privates the rumerations would be as follows MSC / PHD- As Private - N53,000.00 Graduates BSC/HND/BA/ - As Privates - N45,000.00 School Certs/ Experince man and over 35 without degree/ OND- As Privates - N35,000.00 The advantage of the service is enormous Whilst a Phd can be getting 53,000 as a guardsman, he could seek employement in the local Uni or Polythenic and boost his income by as much as N60,000.00 depending on the salary giving to Doctors in the Univsersity Scale. A Bsc can boost his income by combining his N45,000.00 + a junior lecturer's salary or tacher's salary to the tune of N45,000.00 - 9. Training shall be every Thursday and Saturday plus evening trainings on Friday and Sunday optional for those who cannot make of those 2 days 10. Promotions - A Phd or Msc shall be promoted within 2 years of service to the rank of L/CPL at a Salary of N63,000.00 11. A Bsc/HND gets promoted to L/CPL within 3 years of service to a salary of N55,000.00 12. A School Certs and experienced older guys gets promtion to the rank of L/CPL within a 4 year period. to a Salary of N45,000.00 After the first Promotion exercise all categories of Gurdsmen gets promotion every 18 months with a salary increament of about N15,000.00 or 20% of Salary. 14. The minimum time u can serve is 5 years. 15. The maximum time u can serve is 30 years. 16. The higest rank one shall be able to attain shall be Major. Although someone who has being a major for 5 years, salary wise would be a lot better off than one just attaining the position, it also depends on your qualification when u joined. 17. After u leave the service after serving the full 30 years, u would be paid 60% of Salary as pension for the rest of your life, this amount would be linked to inflation, if there is an inflation of say 25%, salary shall be reviewed upwards by the said amount. 18. Colonels Promoted to the rank of Brigadier shall cease to be a commandant of the GUARDS Service such individuals shall continue their career in the regular army , navy or airforce as the case may be. 19. Guardsmen will not be allowed to serve in their home states. 20. Once every 3 years Guardsmen shall be re-posted out to new units. 21. Memebers in over subscribed states would be allowed to go to under subscribe states with aprroval from the state house assembly. Basically the State House of Assembly shall come out with a figure that they are prepared to absorb to their yearly quota. 22. 36,500 Nigerians would have a sense of belonging if these new Guards Service is put in place. It would go a long way in mopping up the hoard of unemployed youths that abounds the polity. A goverment who has the interest of Nigerians at Heart should without further ado established these Guards service as a matter as priority now than never before. The ethnic wranglings in Plateau State where the Police and National Army has being found to have takeing side would not happen as the Guardsmen in Plateau State might be a unit from AkwaiIbom with a Colonel-in arms from Oyo State and Majors from Anambara and Borno State. This Service will go a long way in unifying the county than the outdated NYSC. More suggestions are welcome in making this service worthwhile. |
I support the position of the original Poster, they are not only deillsional and ignorant, they are also opportunist, who are prepared to use the ethnic strife in Plateau to push their own selfish agendaless agenda for the ultimate Balkanisation of the Nigerian polity. The same people have not for a sacond questioned the maniacs that reigns over the helms of affairs of their respective states. What stops their respective state Governors from making those states the only oasis of sanity, development, and progress in a country of increasing insane and unproductive people. Is the actualisation of Oduduwa or Biafra going to stop the ethnic killings in Plateau State. The ethnnic killing is a local killing taking place in only one state out of the 36 states. With the resources the nation has at her disposal, in terms of personnels in uniform, Army , Police, Airforces, more resources should be deployed to the affected area in other to dislodge those bandits. |
@know all. What do u know at all, shiorr. So u mean there is no one in a country with about 150 million citizens dat can look d bull in its eye. If you dont have d balls then leave dose with 3balls to take ove People like u, I dont have to give u much for u to declare the PDP the winner in Lagos State. I suspect u are the type that will sell your soul for N10,000.00 |
Why would any sane christain or good muslims take the INEC Job. When the President of the nation can call u and asked u to perform some ingenious creative accounting with election results. I dont think if one has got a conscience it is a job one should endeavour into. This Job is for 2 individuals those who have a very high moral fabric built into their inner being. That is A man or woman who will look the President in the eye, and say, I rather resign than change results and those who are born from the bowels of hell whose trademark is confusion, calamity and mayhem they thrive in such disorganise enviroments. That woman caved in Ekiti State. She would have written her name in gold but succmb to pressure from the Presidency and INEC. It goes to show Yaradua's Presidency is an evil Presidency, how could they put so much pressure on that grand ma of 70 year old. I dont respect that govenor in Ekiti, it was a stolen mandate. Akinyuli with her volatile conscience will not be able to hack it. |
INEC Chairman is a demotion to say the least, have u guys forgotten what Akinyuli said in some interview a while back now, she said in her new job which was the Information Minister's job, she gets 9 times the allowances she got as NAFDAC Chairman. I think ministers in the grand scheme of things are higher placed than INEC Chairman in terms of allowances and other things, going from a full fledge Minister to INEC Chairman is a demotion and secondly, something a lot of people have already pointed out, she is a card carrying politician and therfore cannot be INEC Chairman. |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^6 A Witch cried yesterday, a child died today, the wicth that cried killed the child , warp and unilleligble logics to say the least |
Why should'nt a Southerner be appointed the Minister of the FCT, Yaradua's father was the minister for lagos from 1960 to about 1965. Today's Northern leaders are just tribalist nothing more. |
we started planning to leave when it became apparent Abacha wanted to rule forever moved back to Naija last year with our kids moving back abroad soon I guess a lot of returnees like yourself are making a big U-turn, I have started seeing people who I knew went back for good back in England. You are welcome back. This is the darkest hour in Nigeria history those killing are so distraughtly |
Are we not the ones that gave hom the ammuinition to do that?would he have done that if nigeria was stable? I agree with u, In this day and age in Nigeria, people are still butchering their fellow human beings like “nama” meat in Huasa, and we want even irresponsible leaders not to talk to us anyhow. We have just started, Benin Republic and Togo will soon tell us to get our act together. |
isn't it high time you took English classes? Thank u, i am already taking one, |
Don't be a tard, when did Qaddafi become an expert on Nigerian affairs. Is this not the same Qaddafi who is omnipresent and omniscient in Arab matters, the great Saviour of the Arab race. What good is a united Nigeria to Qaddafi, learn to read between the lines. PEACE OUT!!! Those that know KnowAll will tell u I am a unionist, but a time comes when enough is enough, Killing is now a sport in Plateau State, home and away match killing. You kill my people today, tommorrow my people will recipocate in kind and kill your own people, shikena. If u are not embarassed by what is happening in Nigeria, I am and obviously Gadaffi who has always dreamt of being the President of Africa in a united Africa is embarassed too. |
And we are about to vote the man who made the greatest voluntary migration of Blacks to the western world back to office. Obviously with Boko-Haram still waiting in the wings to resume their own campaign having seen how the Jos Rwanda style killings has been successful, I suspect by the time IBB is through with us this second time, the population will be down to 60 million. |
Who is the Mad one, the one who knows the President is not incapacitated and yet pretends and did noting about it or the one that wants us to address are our religious differences. |
LACK OF EDUCATION IN THE NORTH IS THE BIGGEST CULPRIT, ALL THOSE NORTHERN STATES SHOULD EMBARK ON A FREE EDUCATION PROGRAMME UP TO SSC LEVEL OTHERWISE WE WILL CONTINUE TO GET AND WITNESS THIS SENSELESS KILLINGS. |
Somali is one nation, one religion, one language, yet they cannot live happily under one roof, nothing good came out of their union, they are still killing themselves till kingdom come. My Guess is that Gadaffi will soon start giving those almejeris weapons of mass destruction, more harrowing pictures and despicable pogroms are on its way, so ladies and gentlemen brace yourselves and prepare your minds for the final doomsday showdown between Christians and Muslims, stay tuned |
Is the word North now interchangeable with the word Hausa / Fulani. Or has the word North being change to Hausa / Fulani. I am not aware of this new development but it seems in the country I come from it means the same thing. I checked the Oxford Dictionary but was surprise that the word North still existed as it has always have with no reference to Hausa / Fulani. I even checked all available synonyms and antonym but to avail. I thought I have stumbled on something new, a new word nobody realise existed, I was sure and convinced, that I was going to be the first person to announce this word that has remain hidden whether deliberately or by a stroke of luck from public view for so long. I had already started playing and forming several conjunctional words with this new found word North America will become Hausa / Fulani American, Northern England will be Hausa / Fulani England, and the North Pole will be Hausa / Fulani Pole. How interesting but having found out that the interpretation I heard in my head of the word North was just a figment of imagination and probably a figment of the imagination of a large swath of my country’s people, I felt deflated, confused, bordering on depression does that mean a large swathe of my country’s people are depressed and confused ? ![]() Armed with my new knowledge of what the word North means, and applying my new knowledge of Northernisms with regards to the Nigerian context, I realise a lot of tribes qualifies to be called Northerners, the Jonah Jang’s, the Smart Adeyemis from Kogi State are Northerners, the David Jemibenwon’s and even fire brand pastor David Oyedepo. I start to wonder why are all these people are not throwing their hats in the ring to contest for the Presidency next year. If most people are ignorant of their rights fire brand David Oyedepo should know better, he is qualified to run since he comes from that zone, he is well learned and he is a political savvy individual who is aware what is happening in the country and what needs to be done. So why are these guys shying away from their constitutional duties and giving the Buhari’s and IBB of these world an easy run for the Presidency, Wonders they say shall never end. ![]() |
I agree with you only to an extent If I can talk from experience, I personally do not think that Paul Dike wields more power in reality than the current chief of army staff. This is based on recent events. For a serious crisis in the nation such as Nigeria we need reassurances from those at the top that the situation is under control . We do not need to hear from spokesmen, we need to hear from the man himself. I vividly remember Colin Powell who was joint chiefs of staff in the US coming out to publicly make statements of reassurance in times of uncertainty and periods of crisis. The mere presence of the chief of defence sends reassurances to the populace. The Chief Defence Staff also weild’s enough power being an Air force man, most of the hardware, fighter aircrafts, helipcopter gunship are based in Markurdi, he will be the man that has the power to counter-coup in the event of the Brigade’s of Guards and the Garrison’s around Abuja taking the laws into their hands. But that will be subject to 2nd Mechanised Ibadan, lagos garrison, Kaduna and Enugu troops loyal to him. We all know 3rd mechanised in Jos is a pro-yaradua unit they can always re-enforce the Abuja Units. |
What is this purpose of this thread The purpose of the thread is to destroy or better still make Nigerians see the double standard of this illegal alliances that does not auger well for our nascent democracy, it is a busy body alliance, most of its members have their core mandates to their various wards but instead chose to focus on happenings in the central government, they are putting a spanner in the wheel of progress at the central. One cannot but notice that they have become more vociferous since a Southern Presidency took over the helms of affair. They are even putting pressure on the AP to sack Dora Akinyuli for goodness sake when did it become the business of State Governors to tell a President who should be his cabinet or have the NSF forgotten they where part of those who sanctioned the Ministers in the first place. This people should concentrate on their jobs and let the AP get on with his job. |
Like a sore thumb in the midst of the women numbering over 600 stood this woman of about five feet tall who was dressed in green and black instead of the complete back that others wore. She just stood there neither crying nor singing, but sweating heavily when Sunday Sun approached her to know why she was not dressed in full black like others and why she was not singing too. She muttered in a low voice that her name was Priscilla Sunday and counted seven of her fingers. One of the women apparently watching over her whispered that Priscilla lost seven children in addition to other relations in the massacre. Spurred to share her experience in the pogrom, the 35-year-old Priscilla said that it was in her presence that some of her children were slaughtered by the rampaging Fulani herdsmen, who invaded her home in the early morning of the black Sunday. By the time the herdsmen retreated to their evil holes and the dust cleared, she lamented that seven of her children had been wasted. “ I cannot describe what I saw with my eyes. My children’s heads were cut open with cutlass, their brains spilled on the ground and arrows cutting through their bodies. Why, what have we done?” She asked and burst into tears. To her, the security agents in Plateau State had failed the people they were sent to protect. She was so bitter about it that she suggested that all soldiers, all policemen should leave Plateau because according to her, their presence had not done the people of the state any good. She also suggested that since the security agents could no longer guarantee their safety, they should leave and allow the warring factions to confront each other in a fight, which according to her, would determine who remains in Jos. “Let us fight so that which ever side wins would remain in Jos. I want to avenge the death of my children”, she declared Tell me why any Nigerian should listen to these heartless men who call themselves Northern Governors Forum or Northern Senator’s Forum. Having read the text above one wonders what these gentlemen who consistently and without any shame put a clog in the wheel of progress want to gain in their shameless brinkmanship and blackmailing tactics when members of their wards have just suffered the worst kind of atrocities man can inflict upon his fellow man. Since these gentlemen has decided not to concentrate on the problems in their own immediate domains having chosen to make the Northern problem their own problem. I see no reason why an encouraging communiqué has not being issued on how to help these unfortunate widows. These Senators who have not passed a single recognisable grassroot’s bill in the last three years having being remunerated handsomely by the Nigerian State to the tune of N120 million, surely now should be pay back time, it is times like this when exemplary gesture should be forthcoming towards those ladies in black, a widows mite of a million Naira from each NSF will go a long way in succouring the pain and despire these ladies have gone through. The Northern Governor’s Forum on the other hand, we all know Governors are a law to themselves and it is common knowledge that there is no clear demarcation between what belongs to the Governor’s and what belong to the State. I am sure some of those Governor’s especially the flamboyant Saraki and Yuguda will inform us, they are richer than their respective states, they will also let us know that they have and are actually bailing out the state with their own personal wealth, I am sure a mundane token of N2 million from these money bags will not only legitimise their gentlemen’s club. It will also give it the clout it craves, otherwise this unholy alliance will be seen as a den of evil and vile minds that are up to noting but like a vampire are willing to drain every single ounce of hope, progress, and development from the Nigeria state to satisfy that lust of personal aggrandizement. |
the men in high and low places that seek bribes and demand 10 percent Unfortunately today they seek 90%, if only they took 10% today Nigeria will be a mini- Dubai by now. |
The doors of the Presidency should be shut at this people who call themselves Northern Senator Forum or Northern Governor forum. From recent happenings in the country one can see the aformentioned forums are dead in the water, they are not really Northern Senators Forum or Northern Governors Forum, I cannot see Jonah Jang sitting with these gentlemen who love using the word Northern when in reality the Governors and the Senators of Bauchi, Katsina, Kwara, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara are the most active and vociferous ones. How can they be one when tribes of some state in the so-called forum are busy butchering the Beroms to extinction and submission. If I were Jang I will not sit with men who has blood soiled in their hands. |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Even the so called citadels of democracy in the world today, their is a limit they can take when it comes to the much touted freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is the reasons why the US and UK are fighting for their dear lives in Afganisatan and Iraq. The UK has in recent years re-vist the tenets of freedom of speech. Anybody no matter how higly placed u are, if u are seen to fuel racial hatred, community co-hesion, religious hatred, your God foresaken freedom of speech will not only be yanked from you, your sorry arse will be dumped in her majesty's prison b4 u are eventually deported to wherever u came from if u were not British. The new law has seen people like Loiuse Farahkhan, Snoop dogy dog, Ali Bakri and the fanatical islamic cleric Abu Hamzat alias Hook Hands either banned, deported or locked up in Prison. This law is called a law against terrorism, and it is a law that is all encompassing, in Nigeria our own terror is the Miliatary who have grasp power without due process on several occasion, steps should be taking to abhor and check this unfashionable, disgraceful and greedy way of power transition, laws should be put in place to curb such incursions and gate crashing into the corridors of power. The penalty of would be offender should be stiff, same should also apply to inciters and stokers. As Jakumo said Nzerebe a man who made his money whilst dealing and supplying instrument of destruction to various goverments in Africa will be more than happy in a chaiotic and anarchic Nigeria where people like him will have a leverage at perpetuating the blood money he craves for. Any intelligence agency worth its salt should in a matter of days apprehend this senile gentleman, and put him where he should belong. Bode George will not mind a millionaire like him as a companion, at least they would be able to rob minds on certain national issues. |
Who made these clowns the final arbiter that laid the down the gauntlet and ruled that democracy is the best system of government and the only one system of government for Nigeria? Democracy has failed Nigeria before now and every indicator is pointing to another colossal failure. It would be within the remit of the SSS, the NIA and the other one forgotten its name to invite Nzerebe for question, maybe he would like to throw more light on some of the clandanstine nocturnal meetings he has be having with military commanders. His comments are a direct slight to Jonathan's leadership and the whole democratic experience and I will not be suprise if rtr General Gusua invites him for questioning. |
Northern Senators Forum and Northern Governor’s Forum, what is the meaning of all these nomenclatures, Nigerians love creating non existing titles for themselves, eulogizing and exalting themselves with empty but grand names yet ignoring the reason why they where elected. This so called high and mighty Senators and Governors can they please give an account of their stewardship. The last time I read an article on Yuguda he had 960 special advisers and since his Father In Law has being sick he has barely being on sit as Governor, if he is not junketing to New York to get a designer baby court for his 4th wife, he is junketing to Saudi Arabia to see his Father - In -Law. I bet he must have done those journey more than most people blink or breath in a day. The Northern Senator’s forum have not passed any bill of significance within the last 3 years that affect or directly alleviate the pains and desires of their immediate wards, oh yes just remembered they are thinking of passing one which would equate Plateau State with the Niger Delta as a disaster come economic zone that requires a Marshall plan propping up. These unholy alliance only allows for dereliction of duty, it is not within the remit of a Senator from Katsina State to be worried about the wellbeing of the citizenry of Kogi South Senatorial district, What this busy body Senators should be worried about is their own immediate constituents. The Constitution does not give them right to create biased alliances to disrupt, overheat, and jettison the Federal Executive from doing their Jobs. Could these Senators please tell us what they have done with the constituency funds they received. I just remembered what the Senator from Zamfara or is it Kebbi State said last year, that he was looking to buying a small plane that would ferry him from his constituency to Abuja. His justification and argument was these days the roads have being taking over by marauders and most roads are full of pot-holes making journeys not only hazardous but dangerous. The high and mighty Senators has forgotten millions of Nigerians ply these same roads day in day out without fear or intimidation in search of that mystical and magical $1.00 a day. Or is it treacherous Bukola Saraki who went behind the back of his colleagues to negotiate a deal with the AP, so that he should be made VP, a self aggrandising proposal to say the least, I bet JG played along with him reassuring him to avail. JG should without mincing words or any pre-ambles go for the cut, we know where the tumour is, it should be removed without much ado. INEC and her in inglorious chairman is a double headed monster that should by now be extinct let alone being on life support, the plugs should be removed from this monster that has grown both in size and reputation since the early days of the OBJ’s Presidency. Even the effable and flamboyant Saraki’s it would come as a shock and surprise that in a free and fair election in Kwara State that the family does not have the political weight they makes us believe they posses, the truth is they are light weight but just have the power to intimidate the citizenry into toeing the line. That is why I love Democracy, it has a way of bringing out surprises, Winston Churchill of the famed we shall fight them in the streets and beaches of Britain, lost the election in1946 after winning the second world war. Democracy can be fun if its played the right way. The reasons why these Governors and Senators are forming all these unholy alliances is because they know that they will be back next year whether they perform or not, election to them is a routine coronation exercise which enables the status quo to remain the same. Jonathan Goodluck should make our votes count next year so that these callous gentlemen who have a penchant of forming alliances can do so as a private citizens, those unsavory alliances’ will not only be irrelevant to the polity as it will at least allow governance or the smooth running of central government to continue without hindrance or distraction. May God bless Nigeria. |
Even though Nzerebe has a point of a lack of clear demarcation between a public purse and a private purse with regards to Executives in power, one has to appreciate, condesend and empathise that the democratic process is still in its nascent state, a wild wild west reaction is to be expected but with time it would mature into something we can all be proud of. Lets not forget Nigeria is only 11 years old democratically, what does anyone expect from an 11 year old kid. Having said that Nzerebe should exercise patience, thank God he does not have a terminal disease, he should watch political proceedings from the sideline like other Nigerians who have being in a position of power and influnce but today whose relevancy in the current dispensation is nothing to write home about. He does not need to make or encourage utterances that could be misconstrued by an already jittery Militiary who have not only being found wanting in their operations in Plateau State but who have acted not too long ago subversively to the Acting President. Remarks like the one made by Nzerebe could be seen as a cue to strike or be striked. There is a current game of nerves and brinkmanship between the Office of AP and the Militiary each watching the other's next move. Nzerebe by stoking the already heated polity with such crass, insensitive and unwise words should be condemned. He should be reminded that he is not just a Mr Nobody but a gladiator in the Nigerian Political terraine who should be carfeul of what he spews out of his gullet. Of course his entitled to his opionion, he should however re-visit such veiwes when the country has being run democratically for 20 to 25 years. Ghanian Democracy has grown leaps and bounds because they are in their 18th or 19th year of Democratic experience. It took them 16 years to conduct the freest and fairest election in Africa. I sense Nigeria is nearing that holy grail, JG seems determined to get it right next year, we hope next year's election will make and not break Nigeria, I pray it is the former rather than the latter. |
The Worst part for Naija is getting knocked out in the first round. That will equate to 4 million a week. I think when u get knocked out the country would have spent just under 2 weeks in the games. Use that money to compensate all the widows in Plateau State both Christians and Muslims it will go a long way in healing the grievances and animosity both sides have towards one and another, It will be a nice commendable gesture. |
This forum has the eyes and ears of those in Authority. That is why people should endeavour to write original articles of how they feel, how their communities feel, how their city feels, about certain national issues. If you write with a logical antecedent, applying facts in unison with the principles of probity, equity and fair play Nigerians of any ethnicities will see the wisdom in your argument. That has being my goal in this forum, a crusader of good governance, even though methodologically it might appear harmless and not to everyone’s taste, it is like the seams that comes out of the ground before the eruption of a volcano, harmless, faceless, voiceless but deadly. To some those views might be a howler in the winds but to many they are views directly or indirectly that enables the wind of change to snowball into avalanche of reformations. Check out Some hard hitting articles that one way or the other ushered in Jonathan as the AP – all written between Jan10 and Feb10 1. Why is this Common Law Wife holding 150 million Nigerians to Ransome. 2. Blue Murder – About equal treatment querying – if a Northern VP will have the patience Jonathan exhibited throughout the Yaradua saga. 3. Ruling from the Grave – When Yaradua came back and wanted to wrestle power from the Act President. 4. Recently Mr & Mrs Power Brokers IBB might not be the right man for the Job If there are 10 KnowAlls out there the country will definitely see changes. Has anyone asked themselves where people like Akinyuli get the confidence and inspiration from. It is by reading balanced, logical views on the Net. Those people who see net bloggers as faceless are in for a shock, we are the ones purifying the polity as it where. I implore and asked more people to be involve in writing original articles that will tackle and banish the ills of our society into oblivion, may God bless Nigeria. Even though the forum has a lot of tribalistic views, the lone wolf in the dark we keep on howling until the day Nigeria becomes the El-dorado we all envisioned it to be. |
