How can you achieve all the above without a complete restructuring of Nigeria?. How can you restructure Nigeria with Yorubas playing politics of punishment to SE/SS by conniving with hausa/fulani from stopping Nigeria to move forward cos Igbos might gain something no matter how small, while you Edos tag on cos you are related to them historically?. (Even though Igbos cannot genetically see any resemblance between Yorubas and Bini people). This is ethnic diplomacy, trade, commerce, cultural engagement and etc all in one. Hmmmm. ...... Some Yorubas are really enigmatic and Igbos must extend hands of brotherhood to this group of Yorubas. Look....an Ijaw man is not in charge anymore. But in your states, you have LG chairmen, Governors...who are Ijaw. (Nigerians won't do the above because they prefer to share money....rather than to work for money. If we had committed to a programme of industrial development since the 1970's...when we actually had an industrial sector.....Nigeria would have been a world leader by now.Not first world...but at the level of an Asian Tiger. You cannot restructure Nigeria without restructuring the people....and if you persist...you will end in destruction.

I wonder....what solutions have Ijaw people designed for the pollution in their soils/waters? Developing such solutions could provide jobs and make many people prosperous.Plus....why can't Nigeria build machines/refineries for our oil industry? "Devil's philosophy". Mr. man, you CAN only restructure Nigeria, in order to restructuring the people (that's to say if human being can be restructured). Nigeria at minimum needs political restructuring adjustment program(PRAP), in order to reorient the mind set of the "new population" toward a common destination. You cannot "restructure" the people firstly, when half the population are heading towards sharia way of life(boko haram etc), while the other half want to remain secular.

I read your response to my write up, and clearly understand your points. I do not think that describing certain cultural characteristics within any group as a part of other groups can be characterized as being prejudice to that cultural group

On the rest of your analysis, personally, I don't think it touched on the core issues of Nigeria political tragic history, present and how this tragedy can be corrected. You really did not provide any practical approach in dealing with this tragic situation the country have found it self. Your attempt at solutionable approach is both passive and superficial. Again, the questions Igbos ask themselves of which I'm asking you as well is, the kind of institutions and structures we need in a country like ours to address so many myriads of problems (like running sharia parallel to a secular constitution, boko haram, fulani herdsmen slaughtering unhindered, yoruba vs igbos, Agitations for Biafra and etc, the list is endless). When the Republican Igbos look at this tragedy, it overwhelms them, hence their agitations and e -fighting with the Yorubas whom the Igbos believed are benefiting from this tragedy.
