@justwise @lexusgs430 et al can you help please. I'm searching for the clause in the tier 2 visa guidance that said something like, you cannot already be employed by the organization sponsoring the visa. I've seen it sometime in the past, but can't find it anymore. Not sure if that has been removed in the latest updates to the guidance. |

Famzing Adesina is a waste of time.
The best they can get is taking turns to take pictures with the two faced conniving bastard. You're the one ascribing to them, more than they merit. They're not more than the typical naija jobman. |

mizGene: Good evening everyone,
just need some clarity... must I get a provisional license before I can take lessons with an instructor? ? I'm still within my 1year of being allowed to use the intl license. but I need to switch asap as I start work in Jan and it is a requirement (they have given me some laxity here, I def need the license and we both agreed I need to start working towards a UK license).
I was thinking of taking lessons with instructors while still having my intl as I understand that once I get a provisional, the intl becomes void. Is this legal? There was someone here who got into some hot waters for using an international license after getting the provisional license. I can't recall the specifics but I think your international license becomes invalid immediately you're issued the provisional license and if you were to be in any sort of accident the insurance won't cover you. Others may have full details but beware. |

mizGene: Hello everyone, Please can you confirm if the NHS cover for students and their dependents cover prescribed medicines as well or is it just the services? Can't answer your question, but if you require any sort of medication on a monthly basis, then you're better off getting a prescription prepayment certificate. You'll pay £10/monthly covering all your meds. |

babajeje123: I was in this situation when I wanted to come in. I isolated for 14 days though before going for a retest on the 15th days and it came out negative. There's no less sensitive test except the PCR and it must be done at a government approved lab. I hope you had a lot of vitamins and iron tabs with ginger and garlic during your isolation period. Don't worry, it will come out negative. If you had covid the first time your test after 14days will definitely not come back negative. Even if you chop all the garlic in the market it won't change anything |

Callmed: Okay thanks. Dante lab is saying I do not need to take the day8 test that i should just insolate for 10days counting from the day after day 2 If you test positive, you'll continue to test positive for a couple of weeks, so retesting is almost pointless. It'll just be isolating till the 10days from your test date. |

AirBay: I am on a dependant visa and applying for a job on the NHS website which offers Tier 2 sponsorship.
fillin in my current visa status, at what stage will I notify them that I need Tier 2 sponsorship If the portal does not ask for your status, wait till interview stage. If they don't ask at interview don't raise it either. Make them give you the job first, during the pre-employment checks they'll find out, then you can start to settle the matter then . If you're what they need, they might go the extra step to sponsor if the role allows. |

omowolewa: Just to curb revenue fraud. Nigeria is such dynamic Nation, trust me Revenue Officers will find other ways around this.
TSA is different from CRF in operations and concept
Some agencies have the right to retain their collection cost (% of the revenue) I see, that’s news to me. My former understanding was that all MDAs and publicly funded organisations would have to remit all funds first to FG and get allocated revenue based on needs. |

EngrSaks: 70% is alot to use on a credit card...try to pay off the money used and stick with 10-20% for the next 3 months...
The best way to increase your ratings is usually by paying off your credit card twice a month...when you make a purchase pay something into the card like two weeks before they take the scheduled payment and ensure you choose the option of making full payment Yeah that’s true. I didn’t expect it to have such huge impact, considering I had another card that’s got 0% utilisation. Credit karma makes a weekly credit request, but my CC provider only provides updates on a monthly basis, so I’m waiting for the next cycle. I’ve learnt my lesson lol, at this point, I’ve cleared the card, but did it less than 2 working days before my direct debit went out, so my CC company is owing me money now. I’m waiting for that to reflect in my next balance before requesting for my money back lol. Hopefully low credit utilisation won’t count against me now. |
