Too quick to judge a Person is becoming a Tradition for some of you. I wouldn't reply you more than that, I'm ain't ready to prove my Innocence.

See..... I do visit Politics Section a lot, though rarely Comment, but always observe some Monikers and their Comments. If I dig out some Comments made by some celebrated Monikers here on the Politics Section, I wonder what else you would tag me or Forgiveness.

However, feel free to tag me whatever pleases you to your satisfaction, get some few Likes and Shares from the Birds of a Feather.

Enjoy your Day!
My man just take it cool and let us move on,no need of replying.

I know some have gone deep to unravel a lot but doing that not good for the thread.Whether you like it or not we have Pan Yoruba,Pan Igbo and it would always reflect in their comment.

Football bind us together here not politics.I remember telling thegoodjoe sometime ago to get out of political thread when i saw his moniker trying to balance things up.

My man continue with your analysis really good.

Obviously, you and this guy have an agenda. Wanting to make it look like a tribal stuff and it is sickening. Lot of individuals on this thread has stated that barring any injury, Musa is certain to make Russia. Sincerely, I feel they have all been nice with their comment... Because if na me, Flop or no Flop, Kayode, and all the Dele you listed and Martins ain't making the final least. Whether they belong to one group is non of my business. I also Remembered how sir TheGoodJoe advocated for Alampasu to start ahead of Akpeyi. I had towed that line of thought to but let's stop acting like he wasn't given a chance. Na for friendly too we see Uzoho.
My man if you read my comment i believe you will not post this comment.

Let killed tribal stuff by remain silent that's just the key, anything contrary is fire.

Pls Kayode, Martin and Deles are Nigerians and are eligible to make WC team if Rohr said so,nothing anybody can do about it.And if Rohr said my 23 man list are Igbos or South south, pls what can we do.

Honestly no shortcut to football cos it is an open game and biased coach always paid dearly for it.

This thread is too damn good to be divided on ethnicity line.

you sound odd....
mind you solanke and co...are British players it will make more sense if you go help convince this players...
until then....your words are in futility....
what has solanke done for Nigeria?
you talking like someone whose tribal or ethnic group is been marginalized...the last time I check this is sports thread and not politics....

please leave those tribal accusations out of your lame points because you won't like it...when these words go beyond this....

mind you I am not even ibo....if I should tell you my tribe..you will find out that I am even more closer to the Yorubas...
I believe many others here too....are not ibos as well....

you can't expect every sane individual to join in you bandwagon to honor and lick the toes of this players....who have chosen to play for England......
Humility17 you are a respected moniker here, pls you don't need it cos tribal accusations will turn this thread to a war zone that would not be comfortable for us all,so let continue with our football talk in a mature way.

Ethnic championings or accusers can carry on just ignored and move on.It's apparent some don't want to hear Igbo or Yoruba name but football is pure talent game not federal character schemes where the best are sacrificed for mediocre.

The way some of us take this issue of "who is called/who is kept" in the team very personal like our opinion here would influence who Rohr keeps in his team baffles me .

He is not even a Nigerian to begin with, there is no way he will select his players from ethnic prism. This super Eagles that is giving us small joy, you guys are hell bent on spoiling it with What has spoiled every other system in this country.
Hmmm you are right my brother but what can we do,nothing,is a free forum where i and you are entitled to our opinions but if it's based on objectivity better for us.

I don't want to say anything on tribal stuff cos is a fire and when it start nobody will have the power to quench it.Please go to political thread a very objective moniker would run away from the thread cos you see hatred all over.

It's better not to allow such here or else the thread would lose it all.A lot peep here to be updated on what is going on especially on Eagles meaning we should stop takes things personal.

I remember sometimes ago how some guys gatecrashed this thread and make it unbearable for all.It was terrible for some days here to the extent some monikers who cannot bear it left the thread until normally returned.

My man i believe allegation of tribalism should stopped cos for someone to identify a moniker as ethnic championing such accuser too must be real tribal man.

So let us stop labelling anyone tribal,we are free to mention any players we like irrespective of the region,it's opinion.I don't think it should be an issue mentioning five good players from Edo state which i believe should be in eagles.

We should have it in mind that we are here to share love not hate.

Back in 1994, talent and ability wise is not different from today. However, roles are different which suits the modern game.

Back then, we had the wingers, Finidi, Amunike, and the support strikers like Amokachi. We had the hitmen or finishers. Yekini and Siasia. A versatile striker could also play the forward role.

Today, a player like Neymar can play on the left wing, right wing, support striking role or lead the attack. Players were not giving such freedom in the past.
OK but forgiveness said we don't have modern CF in this present team and which look a little bit confusing cos we nailed Argentina without a traditional striker.

We don't evem have a modern CF neither do we have a prolific traditional striker in the national team.
Pls which one is modern CF or traditional striker again cos i remember 23 year ago all our FW were potential goal scorers and check US 94 team,Amokachie 2 goals,Amuneke 2 goals,Siasia 1 goal,Findi 1 goal,Yekini 1 goal and i don't think there was anything like modern CF during this period.

What we have in that team was top 9 which is Yekini but with your analysis and thegoodjoe am really confused on the role of Amokachie, Amuneke, Siasia,Finidi,do we called them modern CF?cos they are real goal poachers and Yekini as traditional striker.

The present eagle is not different from US squad if you check our goals statistics our forwards shared similar traits with what we have at US 94.They are real goal scorers.

Truly football has evolved but not much cos this your modern CF was used by Westerhoff but with the presence of traditional striker.

Now back to your comment you said we dont have modern CF but what are Iheanacho,Iwobi,Vic Moses,Simeon Moses,Onyekwuru,Kayode?

Remember with our traditional striker in Nwakaeme we could only scored a goal against Algeria but in his absence we had four goals against Argentina,

My question now with the absence of traditional striker against Argentina, who was our CF cos you said we don't have modern CF and what really make a player a modern CF and even traditional striker.

well....let him stick to his retirement if that will.be best for him...though I will appreciate he returns....
Honestly very great guy and i will always remember him for what he did for Dele Aiyenugba.

Enyeama singlehandedly made sure Dele Aiyenugba was signed by his Isreali club from Enyimba when he was about to leave the club.

If Enyeama stick to his retirement he would be held in high esteem for thinking well and have his record intact as all time Eagles number one (2002-2016)

Go back and read his comment. He introduced the spin by mentioning someone's moniker.

Why should we not discuss a topic because it would offend someone?

If una see truth make una dey talk abeg
Oh for mentioning forgiveness,my man normally i would say SORRY if i offend any moniker through my comments and move on cos with my age i don't think i should be here having issues on top football.

As i said am here to learn and share information and my love for a team i have been following since 1980.If I post a comment I know what am doing and not to mock or ridicule any moniker.

My comment on that post is simple and easy to understand.Great guys like Joebie, junnyake,Mujtahida, tbaba1013,Goke7,goldfish80 etc do post news here for us to read but have never seen them post a news to mock or ridicule any gentle monikers. The post was targeted at forgiveness and it was glaring.Mind you i don't care if it's forgiveness cos it can be anybody and i will still say the same thing.

We are free to express ourselves but we should not believe it was just a forum, let me say whatever i like,no is not done that way.We should all remember something brought us here which is the love for super eagles, then why are we always take offence on simple matter that can be resolved amicably..

With due respect my man am not here to gang talk anybody down based on his choice of player or his contrary view to my analysis.Honestly am here to gather information through you guys cos is valuable.

My comment was not to defend forgiveness but to let the poster know that he can't post a news to taunt anyone but for us to read and discuss.

If mentioning forgiveness is my offence am indeed sorry not to defend him but to correct the poster.

Thanks and God bless.

Yes you are right. He played for Eagles between 1986-1990.He was the captain of U20 team that came third at Moscow 85,Samson Siasia and Alloy Agu were part of this team.

He was in eagles's team that played at 1988 Seoul Olympics in Korea, also maroc 88 and Aigiers 90 and captain Eagles under wonder boy Paul Hamilton.

He played for Rosealare in Belgium but later moved to Germany to continue his professional career till he retired from the game, now a youth coach in Germany.

Rohr’s Scout Agali Hints – Bologna Forward Orji Could Take Kayode Eagles Spot

Red hot Bologna forward Orji Okonkwo could be in line for a first time call up according to the head scout of the Super Eagles Victor Agali during a radio interview monitored by Owngoalnigeria.com in Lagos.
Okonkwo has scored three goals in the Serie A from seven substitute appearance for Bologna, and Agali confirmed he is no doubt in the picture of the Super Eagles ahead of the World Cup in Russia.

” Every player doing well will be called up when the team resume preparations for the World Cup next year, just as some players not doing well for their club could lose their spot”, Agali said.
Although he didn’t mention the names of players who are on the brink of losing their national team spot, he however failed to provide any assurances that on loan Manchester City forward Olarewaju Kayode will be given a look in.

Kayode has struggled for game time at Girona since joining them on loan from Manchester City, and the forward who is presently out injured has also not made good use of the chances he has been given by coach of the Nigeria national team Gernot Rohr.
Why are you guys always targeting forgiveness for God sake cos i don't see where Agali mentioned Kayode.

Pls the headline was misleading and not good for our discussion here and don't be surprised if you see Nwakaeme dropped for Orji.

My man anything can happened when it comes to player invitations or was it not the same Agali that said no more invitation for new players.

Pls always put the source

Keshi yes but Andrew Uwe I dnt agree. We have had better captains than Uwe.

Christian Chukwu, Okocha, Kanu, Yobo and even Mikel have displayed better captaincy than Uwe. Not also forgetting Sunday Oliseh.

Andrew Uwe only featured for the Green Eagles from 1987 to 1990. I think he was part of the players affected by the Westerhoff's Tsunami. Other players like Henry Nwosu, Michael Onyemachara, Yisa Shofoluwe, Wole Odegbemi, Ndubuisi Okosieme were also swept out of the team.

I am sure you know Andrew Uwe still played professional football up till the year 2000.
I'm talking of age.Keshi captained Eagles at the age of 22.Andrew Uwe did the same thing at the age 22.They remained the youngest players to do so,generally we have better captain than Uwe.

Now you have brought in a third variable which is "debut date".

Now we have:
1. Age of player (which is where the phrase of "Oldest player" comes in)
2. Period of service (which "may' be measured by number of appearances. Also "longest serving" player)
3. Debut date

As you rightly said in your earlier post a lot of things come into play including discipline and leadership abilities.

The 3 points highlighted above, I don't need to explain one after the other cos I know we all understand what they mean.
A player like Bartholomew Ogbeche made his debut before Enyeama. If he gets invited like joebie is clamoring for and he makes the final world cup team, would you classify him as the oldest player, longest serving player or what? Fact is he would not be the oldest player neither would he be the longest serving player. He is just the player with the oldest debut. And is that enough for him to be made captain? I am sure your answer in no.

But I understand you. You are looking at oldest player in terms of longest servicing which may be ambiguous if stated that way.
In football world there are terms we used that only us can interprete it and the term OLDEST used by GOKE7 was for longest serving player.

I did not need anybody to tell me that before i know what he was trying to say.

Truly he should have used longest but in this forum it's simple for us to understand.

I don't think we need to debate it cos it's common in our opened arguments we always says he is the oldest meaning longest.

Agreed on your point.

Do not worry Rohr will settled the matter soon,if martins made the team expect some to pray for Naija downfall and some to pray for goal drought for Iheanacho.

At the end of the day who to blame or who would carry the burdens,we fans, players after matches you see them in the night club chilling off but here we continue to deliberate on what went wrong, funny enough Martins and Iheanacho will be chilling together in far away Dubai on yacht.

Yes a lot of things come into play. And as u rightly pointed age is not the single determining factor.

Some players are natural leaders both on and off the pitch. He may not be the oldest but he must have spent some appreciable time in the team.

For eg no one is expecting players like Ebuehi, Idowu, Aina or Onyekuru to be Eagles captain next year. Not even in 2 years time.

Apart from time spent with the national team some players are natural motivators on the pitch. Some are naturally disciplined. Some relate better with the FA officials than others.

A player like Victor Moses has spent almost same considerable period of time as Onazi and Echiejile but has never been considered as an assistant captain option? Why? Moses comes to me as an arrogant person. His level of diplomacy is not something to be admired. He cannot lead the Eagles else there would be several clashes between him and many state holders. Stuff like that.

Keshi like you rightly mentioned became a captain at an early age. Why he is a natural leader. That why he is called "The Boss".

His and Andrew Uweh's captaincy are part of a few exceptions.
Keshi and Andrew Uwe remain the best despite their young age then, they carried the team very well, funny enough Uwe was in University of Ife and playing for Leventis United.

I don't understand, pls explain better cos my own assertion of longest player in a team started with the date of his debut.

I know Balogun is older but Echiejele,Onazi,Musa and Omeruo made their debuts before him, meaning they are the oldest.

In football the oldest not necessary player's age is longest serving player in the team
