Politics › Re: Minor-cracks, No Port-holes On 3rd Mainland Bridge - Ferma by komek(m): 8:45am On Nov 09, 2012
Our leaders like lying to us. That 3rd mainland Bridge was full of holes after it was opened. They want to show us that they are wrking that was why they opened the Bridge before the normal time they agreed to do that. Because someone wants to receive praises.
If they were no holes as they are talking , what caused the slow traffic on Wed. 7th of Nov on that bridge? Was it not as a result of work going on after they claim they have concluded work on the Bridge. Abeg .

omobadan: I only wanted to comment because of the guy that turned this into a tribal bashing fest. Some people are just silly. My sincere apology to the Ibo people. He doesn't represent the Yorubas or any tribe for that matter. On Gov Fashola's use of the phrase 'village'. I think it sounds somehow. He should've just say anyone that falls foul of the traffic law will be punished. That sounds better.
Funny enof, he calls himsef a SAN, u begin to wonder how he qualified as one. Corruption

Funny comment. Can you imagine a Yoruba man that eats and poo at thesame time in a place calling an Ibo man DIRTY.
I have always known a Yoruba man to be a dream destroyer. All this hatred for the Ibos by the Yorubas did not start today, even their father Awolowo did it to the Ibos. Hw I wish the Ibos will be sensitive enof and develop there place, let's see how the so called EKO will survive. I feel for the Ibos

ItsModella: Why is it that the soundtrack reveals the plot?
Why is it that the fathers have a life span of 60 years?
Why is it that all problems must be spiritual and the only solution is a pastor speaking balderdash?
Why do the movies have close to 6 parts? only for the story to be crappy.
Why must they all be marketed and distributed at 21 Idumota road Lagos, 49/51 Upper Iweka road Onitsha and 9 Pound Road Aba?
Why must we Grab Our Copy Now?

Why? Why? Why? My questions are endless...no be today I wan start.
The reason for the ' WHY ' is exactly what you just did. Doing exactly what another person has doing without trying to be creative. Follow follow, copy copy. Why did u nt start the thread?

222Martins: While this is a good development, i am a little bit concerned about the flamboyant lifestyle of our stars because ten years from now, most of them will be back to square one and will be in need of money to address their health problems. But trust me, Nigerians won't help them at that time. Why? Because we will remember they once had money and uselessed it. Fast life kills. If you are in doubt, ask MC Hammer, Evander Holyfield, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Princess Diana, Amy Winehouse, Selena, Aaliyah, Left Eye Lopez, Kim Basinger, Mike Tyson, etc
Advicer. These guys are so mature and intelligent that they no what they want for themsefs. Those ones who were in need of money to address their health did not make money. They were just famous. Family › Re: Should Parents Have A Favourite Among Kids? by komek(m): 7:22am On Oct 27, 2012
Why are we all saying its wrong? It is not wrong to have a favorite child, but what is wrong is the way you go about it. It was like that when we were growing up in my house. But my parents will call you aside ( especially the jealous ones) and explain the reason for it. We got use to it and even made the person our mediator between us and our parents and it worked.

Funny thread.... Each time I remember this lie I told my mum, I will just laff.
When I was in Jss2 I missed placed a txtbook my mum bought for me. So one day she asked me abt the book and I told her I have returned the book to the book seller she bought it because the book was not clear.i I told her bookseller promised to change the book for me. After so many days my mum ran out of patience and told me to prepare so wecan go and ask the bookseller why he has not replaced the book all this while. I went inside the house to prepare thinking that my mum will change her mind on the way iam preparing to take her to the book seller , because I was pretentiously happy that we were going. O boy this woman was so serious abt this issue o. Na so we reach road for Asaba about to board a cab, I just tell the woman the truth o before she will go there and embarass me.
The beating and the plenty talk from mumsy no get part 2.

weaseloo: Here is an experience I have never forgotten.
When I was 7 years old, my father returned from the village with plenty "udala". I was given my own share and when I finished it, I wanted more. So I went to the fridge to take another one and my elder sister discouraged me threatening to report me. I did not take the udala but stayed in the kitchen for a while to drink some water. When I came out my sister believed that indeed I had taken the udala and licked it before coming out. She went straight to our dad who canned me very well. Although I have forgiven, but such an experience hurt a lot. Nobody believed me when I said I did not take it. And nobody said sorry. sad
My dad gave me a good cuddle when I was crying though tongue.

Anyway, yes, I think parents should apologise in such situations. You are also teaching the child how to admit their wrong doing without being afraid. You are also teaching them how to be considerate and to forgive. This way, they will learn not to hold grudges (which is a heart eater).
when I was growing up, this kind of apology no dey my mama dictionary o.
Thank God for your dad. Its important parents apologise when they punish a child wrongly, cos the anger takes time to heal

You maybe suprised to know that most of these guys that come here to give info(fake or authentic ) did not even apply for PG . So most times you ignore them. I heard this issue of score since 4weeks ago, when I called someone who works in the sch of PG, she said they have not release the result. Most times u begin to ask your sef where these guys get there info.

Ramcie: Hehe! cheesy cheesy .yoruba movies are very interesting just the translation that kills it . What baffles me the most is that, in virtually all the Yoruba movies I've watched, a girl always gets pregnant outside wedlock. There is always " Mo ti loyun " am sure I didn't get the spelling right but I believe it's means " am pregnant " . I need answers plzzzz. Why must they always get pregnant it doesn't speak well of our society you know.
Its becos, its a thing of pride to be pregnant outside wedlock in Yoruba land. This is the reason whenever u r sleeping with a Yoruba even with condoman she comes back to tell yu she is pregnant

Nonnyrose: men do d same, a lot of our men are impotent and they won't let their wife know. Some have lived dangerous and wicked life in their school and NYSC days, getting girls pregnant and paying for Abortions without knowing all this repercussions most of this girls placed curses on them with impotence and cry of the innocent babies they have destroyed has come to live with them, which they put on their wives and when she can't get pregnant the husband's mother becomes a thorn on the wife's flesh. We live in a society where women are subjected to do so many things just to make their marriage work. If men can stop being secretive and stop trying to sleep with every lady they see, their wives won't be in this mess. Oh! God nah ur hand we dey
Sit down there and put all nonsense in writing in other to justify your bad life style. Must a woman be pregnant after sex? Are they nt ways to prevent pregnancy? Women are pregnant becos they want.

In my office, old men do carry one small girls bag in the name of a BOSS. The day she tried it with me, she really saw the arrogant side of me.

I don't know why Yoruba pple leave their life like this sef.
