I don't know the party he belongs to but I think this has gone way far beyond party affiliation.
Both individuals from every corner in the north are aware of the security challenges in that region and to some extent lending their support to those group in different ways..

Bandits were imported and camped in bushes to help oust Jonathan should he win, it would have been bloody.

But when Jonathan handed over to them, they forgot that they camped people in bushes, the abandoned bandits had to survive. This was how they started kidnapping.

When things got out of control and they realized what they have done, they went to pay them off but unfortunately majority have departed their camps.

A certain governor said one time that they have paid those terrorizing them. He was right, they paid but it was late.

When other idle youths and greedy politicians discovered how lucrative the business is, they joined and that's how we got to where we are today.

Lemme gist you, some people were kidnapped sometime ago, the bandits connected the families of the few that had the ransom but these people lost their way to the designated location.

They met some security agents who after listening to their story pointed them to the right direction and drove off.

When people tell you that Nigeria won't work, it is not because they're IPOB or because they hate Buhari, most times it's because they know what is going on.

And no chief, age of consent in Nigeria isn't always 14. There's something called Child Rights Acts that many states have adopted(about 24 states the last time I checked) and here's a quote from it.

"Where a person is charged with an offence (of unlawful sexual relations with a child) under this section 13, it is immaterial that the offender believed the person to be of or above the age of eighteen years.”

This makes the age of consent in most states 18 and not 14.

Baba can sue them if he feels he was humiliated or beaten, but that doesn't exonerate him from his crimes.

I have been avoiding any thread on this Baba Ijesa's case because of nauseating comments like this one.

This is embarrassing bro and I am sure you won't say the same thing if the girl involved is your daughter.

Most of the times cases like this come up online, we usually scream "where is the evidence", now someone did something to come up with an evidence and we are still find faults.
