The problem here is the word "regret" right?
Because to regret means to have a change of mind and to have a change of mind means one has made a mistake? I get the confusion.

The Hebrew word that was translated to regret is "y in'nā'hem" and the word is used when one wants "regret" without implying error.

It's more about feelings, like disappointed, pain etc.

Let's say you give you brother N100k to set up a business but he squanders it, deep down you will feel sad and "regret" what's happened but you didn't make a mistake. It's a normal thing to do.

God didn't regret creating man because he made a mistake, rather he was sad because of what must be done to man to punish him for his sins.

Some lazy anti church elements never bothered to read the letter anyway, they ran to town screaming Church is a Business.
What's in a Pastor that could not bring in souls into the Kingdom of God? What was he hired to do?
Am not surprised where we are today as a nation when we could not hold people accountable for the assignments that they were given.
The attitude of the Pastor is the more reason he failed, an entitlement mentality and he was rightly sacked.

You people supporting the church are hypocritical elements, starting with Reno.

Don't pretend like you don't know what is going on, and if truly you don't then ask questions instead.

Ask yourself why pastors (especially RCCG) open churches in every street.... It's not to win souls for God, it's to generate revenue for church.

Ask yourself why a Christian will come to preach to you and invite you to their own church even though you made it clear that you're already a Christian and belongs to a church.
It is to generate revenue for the church.

Now on this particular issue, I am using RCCG as a reference because that's where I have first hand experience. Pastors are given targets just like marketers but the different is that target is directly money not members.... This is why they hit on paying tithe, sowing seed bla bla bla.

Some unfortunate Pastors use their own personal money to augment what was raised in the church and send to the state head quarters. Sue me and I will come with evidence.

Until we start being honest to ourselves and tell these CEO of churches that Christ is disappointed in them, things will never get better in Christiandom.

Look around you, why does it seem like Satan is winning every battle? Because Christians have deviated and lost their power.

Stop defending rubbish, those pastors were sacked because they're not remitting the required amount.
