Dunno why Nigerians attach so much importance to greeting and who greets first.
I greet people that I am way other older than and I notice from their reactions sometimes that didn't expect me to greet them first and yet they will pass like they didn't see me if I don't greet them.
How many seconds does it take? |

Until y'all accept that cheating is not for only men,una go continue to train children wey no be una own. All these call for DNA will affect not less than 50% of Nigerian families, all those calling for it too will be affected and the fathers at 60-70 discover they are childless, oya start looking for young blood to impregnate and have their own child
PS: don't quote me if you are a frustrated bastard, you will be ignored. She's here again Not less than 50% of Nigeria families? Oh God

Berbierklaus: When I use most to describe a situation or something I find appalling about men,it's because they have allowed that thing become an accepted phenomenon eg cheating, battery etc. Cheating and battery are not acceptable anywhere in the world. Cheating also isn't a male thing likewise battery. Women initiate domestic violence and even hit men in some cases but men rarely report. Even some battered women started the fight but they got beaten. These are facts. Putting the blame on men the entire time is hypocrisy. Now see why it's irrational to say most while talking about cheating and battery. In Nigeria for instance, a man will cheat and get away with it because of our traditions and all, a man can also beat a woman and get away with it because of gender stereotype and all but are the same thing applicable in the West? Of course not, women over there are violent as men and they will divorce you once you are caught cheating. In my village, men don't beat their wives. Any man that hits his wife will spend until h regrets, should I then say that most men don't hit their women because it is so in my village? Berbierklaus: That said, you know nothing about me to conclude that I speak up against the ill treatment men melt out to women because I haven't been to other places apart from my base. You honestly don't comment like someone who has. |

Sterope: I still don't get it.
unclothedness does not the mean shit. Your great great great great grand mother probably could tied leaves to cover some parts of her body OR moved around stark naked. I can't see how it is different from what is happening in today and I am yet to come across anything that proved or disproved that they were more respected. Also, this issue with women's appearance is rooted in modern society thanks to Abrahimic religions. Don't get it twisted, man.
Besides, the whole point of this thread is about barging into someone else's room without permission. It doesn't matter if it is a lady or a man nor does i matter if it is a matrimonial room.
Geez! You can't help yourself. You must find a way to blame women, don't you? unclothedness means shit. You can't compare us and our great grandfathers. There has been a serious awakening and things are MP longer the same as they used to be. The society has been and is being reprogrammed, nudity on the streets and in the movies is influencing the society and causing various changes that are detrimental to the society in general. I am not blaming anybody, just stating obvious facts, people are saying that it's no biggie because it's what they see in every other street, they've been reprogrammed. |

Berbierklaus: Nah,don't get me wrong,I don't speak ill of men,I speak up against cheating and self entitled men. Don't mix them.
That's said, the way you speak ill of women is really really irritating. You can equally change the whole world if you can You need to leave your base and explore other states to know that the men there and those around you aren't the same. It is foolish really to use "most" when talking about men when you haven't men 1% of the met in Nigeria alone talk more of other parts of the the world and the only time you use that word is when you want to say something horrible about men. |

Sterope: What does 'asking for permission before entering other people's rooms' have to do with the worth of a woman? Because women go virtually Unclad on the streets. This woman complaining here will go to beach and remove 97% of her clothes in public, turn on your TV and you will see Unclad women here and there. I am not trying to justify what happened but all these have a way they influence the way people see and treat women. |
Family › Re: My Brother In Law Barged Into My Room While I Was Unclad!! by Kondomatic(m): 6:56pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
Berbierklaus: Exactly, especially a married woman's room,I don't dare enter my aunt's room without knocking even when her husband is not there, that's just total lack of respect....
Jeeez,I find it really annoying that some people are saying no big deal about it,worst still the husband's reaction, like really? My husband better not try that with me
OP you better be stern and firm with that your brother in-law, call him,and tell him squarely never to enter your room without knocking and waiting for a response before entering.
And watch your back,I don't trust that your husband and brother in-law. Better still buy key and make sure you lock that door when you are inside,I do that to my room,so I'm used to it. Lols. The husband should have shouted at him and order him to move out the moment he stepped in. |

Back then when women knew their worth as women, a man dare not enter a married woman's room even if he's invited.
You get message? Deliver it from outside or wait until her husband comes back but those wey go school say wey dey imprison them so we set them free.
Guys trying to justify this act are just silly. You don't enter people's room without knocking, even my mom cannot enter my room without knocking. Unless something is after her.
The best thing to do when you enter a woman's room and see what you're not supposed to see is to turn around and leave without looking her direction a second time. |

PaperLace: If my husband decides to do a DNA, three things will come to mind.
If you want to carry out such test, do it secretly. If the child isn't yours, take it up with her _ if it is, destroy the result and move on. If any wife sees such, especially if she passed, you won't like the effect on your marriage. This is strictly my opinion. You've spoken well. Things are likely not going to remain the same after test. If the kids ain't yours, problem. If the kids are yours, another problem. It's better to keep it secret. |

Something funny is happening on Facebook now, there's a campaign by men for all married men to do DNA Test on their kids and here's a full gist of how it all started
There was a Facebook group that was created by one Mr Ben. It was a sex educational group that teaches married people and young men and women how they can enjoy their sexual life in marriage. Users were massive.
Normally guys staying abroad do ask Ben to post certain problems so they can people's opinion on the issue.
Two days ago, a man who stays abroad but his wife stayed in Lagos, wrote to Ben to post on his wall in view of suggestions ABOUT where he can get a good hospital where he could carry out a DNA test for all his kids, citing suspicion on his wife.
Ben posted the message like he usually does.
That's where the trouble started.
He got a threat inbox message from a strange married woman who apparently opened the facebook account just for the purpose of the threat.
She threatened to kidnap Ben and deal with him so much if her husband sees the post and decides to do a DNA test on their kids.
Ben Shared The Threat On His Wall and The Real Fight Started.
After Ben posted her message on his wall, so many guys and good women in holy anger, latched out at her and called her unprintable names and then right there on Ben's wall, EVERYONE LAUNCHED A CAMPAIGN FOR ALL MARRIED MEN TO GO AND DO A DNA TEST ON ALL THEIR KIDS.
This campaign deeply infuriated almost all the facebook married women who were there reading as the campaign gained momentum.
What did they do?
They invaded Ben's inbox, this time with their real accounts and cursed the hell out of Ben while promising him that THE HIGH NUMBER OF HOMES WHICH THIS NEW CAMPAIGN ARE GOING TO BREAK WILL COME BACK AT HIM.
This Is Not The End.
They started reporting that group to Facebook en mass just to get back at Ben.
They reported and reported and reported the group, until Facebook finally gave in.
Facebook has taken that group down yesterday.
I think it's just right that married take this DNA test of a thing very serious.
So many things are happening in dark places on earth. Lalasticlala show your readers what really happened. |

'Man' is synonymous to strength and authority but going through all the post here by 'men' I feel unprotected and precarious...
I mean where are our men to protect us?
Where are our men to talk to us like sisters, wives, daughters and mothers?
