You are very mischievous. The crimes reported in the story have been going in for more than 30 years before Orji Uzor Kalu decided to allocate that expanse of land for cattle business.
Fulani and Hausa people live and sleep in that market 24/7. They don’t build or rent decent accommodation. In the day time, they move with their cattle and there’s no nooks and crannies of Lokpanta that they don’t know.

Security forces know this but the governor and politicians never really cared. They know the people committing the crimes there and by crimes I mean, robberies, kidnappings for ransom and killings. Market leaders from early 2000s till present should be interrogated if DSS, police or military are serious.

It’s the countless number of kidnappings, missing people and the audacity of herdsmen when they invade farmlands that gave rise to IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu. Prior to this Nnamdi Kanu was an activist in London advocating for a better Nigeria.

Just like the mess around new artisan market in Enugu, Fulanis live and stay in that market 24/7. Hygiene and sanitation is horrible there. They live in shanks and it’s a hideout for criminals. Arms and ammunition are stored there.

Travellers have been kidnapped, robbed and never seen. These have been happening for more than 20 years for those who don’t know. Serious and horrible criminal activities have been going on there around 2004.
I remember this because there were robberies and kidnappings around Lokpanta when Enyimba won Caf…around 2003-2004.

There was nothing like Nnamdi Kanu and ipob during this time. Uwazurike wasn’t that popular then either.

Forensics should be able to give more insights about the bones and skeletons there.

Lokpanta crimes contributed to the Nnamdi Kanu emergence, Ipob and how many Igbos see herdsmen.

Police and the military are aware of all these.

I am a christian but I think lots of churches constitute nuisance and nothing but stress and disturbance to other people.

Churches or places of worship shouldn’t make our lives miserable. Same rule and regulations that apply to night clubs and other entertainment venues as per noise pollution and other disturbances should be strict and applied to places of worships.

Not every portion of land space should be used for religious and worshipping purposes. The law should be strict on this.

Reinforcement bars would be made obsolete.

Real estate and private builders would henceforth use bamboos as substitute to steel reinforcement bars.

I heard builders like Sugimoto and Spyder880 have already started using bamboos exclusively in their projects.

The qualities of bamboo is never in doubt. Timber have been used for centuries…we know that, the tensile strength of bamboo compared to steel isn’t the only consideration in building. It’s annoying when people claim to be engineers then quote that factor as if it’s the only relevant factor during construction.

The Anambra man is constructing a two storey building exclusively with bamboo substituting reinforcement steel bars. That’s crazy. Ask yourself if those bamboos have undergone any sort of treatment prior to using them, then should bamboos or timber frames be used the way the video portrayed.

This isn’t a bungalow or wall partitioning that needs less load. He is building a two storey building with bamboo beams and columns. That’s not ingenious in my opinion. It’s madness. The Chinese and Indians wouldn’t use those bamboos the way he is using them.

We have teaching hospitals all over Nigeria and none of these works effectively. Vital medical equipment are lacking. Medical staff lack motivation and morale to work and give their best. Many of them have travelled abroad….now every time someone falls sick, the blame goes to people like Peter Obi. Is he Santa Claus? Blame him and criticise his impact on health in Anambra state during his tenure but not for not donating to fund to anyone who gets sick.

The money that has been stolen in the past 8 years would’ve upgraded all the teaching hospitals.
