I just discovered the shock of my life. My friend is about to get married in a month’s time to this wealthy fine man, she's a few weeks pregnant and looks pretty happy.

Wike is of the opinion that president should rotate to the south. Wike wanted the presidency and not the position of a vice. Atiku is an alpha male, corrupt to the bones and selfish. His deputy should be a meek man like Goodluck Jonathan who is loyal and patient. Wike isn’t a Goodluck Jonathan and trouble would’ve brewed if he had accepted to be Atiku’s vice. Both wouldn’t win though. Wike and Atiku’s sharp practices would be resisted by Tinubu. Maybe things wouldn’t have ended this way. There would’ve been violence which wouldn’t benefit anyone. Shettima and El Rufai are there to fight dirty as well.

Wike might be crazy but I think it paid off for him. Tinubu would be satisfied that he got the votes not minding how it came about. He got the numbers and that’s what he care about. Obi and Igbos can’t resent or feel vindictive against Rivers state because they voted for Labour and without Wike’s interference, Labour would’ve won by a wide margin. Labour/Obi’s grudge would be against Wike and not Rivers state people.

Compare it to Buhari vs South East…there won’t be a scenario here where south east was neglected. Wike actually delivered Rivers to Tinubu and the federal government and would be expecting rewards in appointments. Wike didn’t think Labour would go far or achieve the result that they had…it’s a calculation which Wike got right in my opinion.

Things wouldn’t have gone right between him and Atiku. I don’t think both men can work together. Okowa is the right man for Atiku. Quiet and subservient like Jonathan.

By working for Tinubu and and rigging Rivers vote, Wike saved himself from Atiku. If Atiku had won, I hate to say what would’ve happened to Wike.
