Sadly the Nigeria men’s team was thrashed by Ivory Coast and Uganda. |
Mrsoft3:You are such an id iot. |
wizdomnzube:I disagree on that part of him not being good and lucky. Anthony Joshua is a good boxer but something isn’t quite ok with him lately. Maybe it has to do with his mentality, training, team and tactics. He was stiff, inhibited, unadaptable, lethargic and uninspiring. He fought same way, same tactics from round one to the last round. He had solid jabs and hooks but for every successful jab to Usyk’s face, Usyk replied and countered with punches that rocked Joshua. Not sure if Joshua was scared of him or just sticking to a game plan. Every time Joshua catches Usyk with good punches, he never follow them up it was agonising watching Usyk move back and recover quickly. This is not the Joshua that beat Klitschko and Dillian Whyte. Joshua is a solid guy and I always imagine him unleashing the beast in him. If he does that, he’d be unstoppable. The Joshua that fought Ruiz is a sissy version of the original guy that beat Klitschko. He hasn’t changed…even the second fight against Ruiz was not good enough. He fought like an amateur. Only him know what’s going on with him. You can’t have that all diet, trainings and still lack the fight, fury, energy, stamina, endurance, flexibility and killer instincts. He is strong but that strength hasn’t shown. He is young but even his youth wasn’t evident when he fought last night. Oleksandr Usyk on the other hand is just 34 but looks like a 40 something, nearly 50 year old guy with the body of some trouble maker who spend all his time in the pub drinking and getting involved in brawls…but he was ferocious, aggressive, brave and full of energy. |
The winner here is Usyk. He fought well. Joshua need to go back to the drawing board. |
Usyk is winking this except Joshua does something spectacular….knockdown |
Joshua is a good boxer but he seems to lack aggression sometimes when it matters. He is too cagey and inhibited. If he meets Tyson Fury in this state, Fury will toy with him in the ring. His cutman is a magician though. His right eye would’ve closed up if it wasn’t for the cutman. |
Usyk fights with so much aggression and has no fear. Joshua’s tactics here isn’t different from his first fight with John Ruiz. He’d be lucky to win this fight.
|
Third round will definitely go to Usyk. Anthony wobbled with a heavy left hand punch. Joshua need to be careful and step up his game. |
Both boxers still sizing each other up but Usyk appears more aggressive. Joshua calm and in control.

I really pity the man wearing red shirt not just because of the frustrations in getting his money back but for the vain efforts he has put in erecting that scaffold ![]() The creditor sure know how to inflict pain. He took his time to tie the man up meticulously then, collected sticks, dug holes and craftily set and erect the scaffold. It was time to hoist the idiot when police and neighbours arrived. The creditor must be pained. It must be very frustrating not being able to hoist that man and inflict more misery on him. I feel bad for him. He should’ve damaged his ear drums well so the bugger wouldn’t be able to hear the swoosh of the 2x4 as it comes down hard on his body. |
Capitalpunisher:He may win the case but he wouldn’t spend a kobo of wherever he got from the judgment. The man is dubious, untrustworthy and hard hearted. |
lordlugards:Sadly, the police would extort both men. The tied up man would be reminded how police rescued him from death and they would possibly collect that everything he has in his account, then the man in red shirt would be locked up and he would have to sell whatever he has left to regain his freedom. Police might even accuse him of being a ‘ritualist’. The man who was tied up said his eardrum was damaged and he couldn’t hear anything but he was responding well to questions being asked him. |
The real victim is the man in red shirt. I feel his pain. The bugger on the floor is lucky. He wouldn’t have to pay the debt as the narrative has changed. Unlucky man in red shirt took the laws into his own hands and now the law will give him a big shake up. It’s frustrating trusting and helping some people. That idiot on the floor has got a lucky break. He has found a way to avoid paying what’s he has been owing for years…after fleecing a fellow human being and a friend, he has disappeared, devilishly refusing to honour agreement. To hell with him. He was lucky the police arrived. I don’t support jungle justice but I hate people who dupe other people. |
This man isn’t Chinese or even from the Far East. He might be Turkish/Lebanese or even from Syria. |
techWriter3:Not everyone think negative like you lots. That incident didn’t define him. Yakubu Aiyegbeni remains one of Nigeria’s and Africa’s best. He resonates talent, passion, success and strength. All the best to this legend and his beautiful family. |
Eastlink:Pls ignore the IPOB and Ijaw e-warriors and give us the Lander brothers/Abo story. I’m impressed with the history in this thread. There is a Bishop Anyogu Street in Uwani Enugu. I think it’s the same person mentioned here. Great thread. |
I love what Balotelli did. To hell with Yalcin. |
Ugaboy:I don’t think he was furious. He might be disappointed but certainly not angry at Osimhen. It was the media that’s making a drama out of it. |
NEWJOE:How old are you and how old is the mod that brought this to front page? Do you tidy and clean your house only when you are expecting a female friend? |
![]() Op olodo...no VAT on selected basic food items. You must be a graduate without knowledge. If you are knowledgeable, When you were charged in Portharcourt, you were supposed to know that they are doing the wrong thing in Rivers, while Borno doing the right thing. . The moderator that brought this to front page should be sacked. I can see bandwagon comments too. Most just went to school, but zero knowledge clouded by tribalism and religion. You are not intelligent mister. You don’t even know the meaning of basic food items. Olodo. Read what you copied and posted. Information are all there but you failed to understand. It’s all in your post that basic food items EXCLUDES food sold in restaurants, hotels etc Stop embarrassing northerners

flokii:I hear you. You’ve spoken well!. It’s emotional blackmail if someone suggests that an Igbo man should be president after Buhari but it’s not emotional blackmail for the southern governors to threaten the north on who succeeds Buhari!. Btw, I don’t support an Igbo president. I also don’t support the clamour for Tinubu and Osibanjo. Both are snakes. Akeredolu is the man not necessarily for tue presidency but for being consistent in recognising threats and injustices threatening his Nigeria and his domain. He has been vocal about Fulani bandits, kidnapping and herdsmen constituting nuisance in his state and south west. He has been courageous and outstanding. He hasn’t hidden under political diplomacy. He has initiated meetings and conferences and prompted other sleepy governors to act. He hasn’t rested and he has done all these sensibly, authoritatively and consistently in contrast with Wike’s method. Wike is another governor who has been bold in action but with a different method. Akeredolu in my opinion might not be the saviour but if there is one man out there whom I’d give my vote and support if he was to contest. I’d be him. He echos the thoughts and opinions of millions of southerners. |
When is Falcon’s next match and who are they playing against? Anyone knows? It’s frustrating trying to get info on NFF website, wiki and Falcon’s Twitter page. The Twitter page hasn’t been updated since their preparation for the US invitational. Wiki isn’t of any benefit either.

Despite his push for APC, he hasn’t been invited to Abuja to see Buhari. Josephat Ugbokwe aka Stephen Warren is asking “Who dis nigga on da nag?” What’s so special about FFK that APC feels the need to entertain him? Joe Igbokwe has been insulting the Igbos and was rewarded with cleaning Lagos gutters. APC should be held responsible if chief house nigga develops heart attack. Someone is in severe pains. It’s called jealousy or in our local lingo….The spirit of jelosi has taken possession of Igbokwe’s soul. |
PericomaNwankwo:You need an X-ray of your shoulder showing the whole of your clavicle with the joints, the whole of your scapulae and the upper part of arm(humerus) and it’s articulation with the glenoid of your scapula. If you haven’t dislocated your shoulder, it could be rotator cuff injury…the muscles are Supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis. Your shoulder joint is very shallow and prone to injury especially if you perform such actions as use of heavy dumb bells. You need X-ray A radiologist will look at it and describe your injury in a report. An orthopaedic doctor fixes your shoulder or any member of the orthopaedic team. You visit a physiotherapist to help you recover. X-ray first. |
Mrkumareze:If I mention mine as well, you’ll be shocked. First, are an orthopaedic doctor? Are you trained in the medical field and part of an orthopaedic team?? If your answer is no, then you shouldn’t be treating anyone with broken bone. If you attempt what you are doing now in a sane environment, you’ll be in a big trouble. |
honcdm01:Only an orthopaedic doctor has the training and expertise to deal with your injured hand and any orthopaedic that starts to treat your hand without an X-ray should be in an underground prison with his medical certificate withdrawn. You can’t treat what you can’t see. You could’ve fractured your scaphoid plus other carpal bones, it could be your metacarpals or your phalanges (fingers) or even lower end of your forearm(distal radius and ulna). You need X-ray first then an orthopaedic surgeon. |
Mrkumareze:That’s child abuse. You inherited nothing. If your kids are injured, fractured or dislocated limbs….take them to orthopaedic hospitals. |
Barryseal:No one should be allowed to reset/reduce or fix fractures except the person has undergone trainings either as an orthopaedic doctor or a well trained medic in such area. Like you mentioned about the man whose shoulder was being fixed, I cringed reading that. How would a traditional bone setter tell a posterior dislocation from an anterior one. I actually saw a doctor struggling to fix one yesterday. He got help from an older colleague. A professional bone setter need to see what’s he is setting/fixing/reducing. He needs X-ray to be able to do that. You can imagine the number of simple fractures that these people have made worse. The result is permanent bone malalignment of the individual who sustained this injury with lifelong disfigurement. |
Baawaa:Politicians |
@op aka TheCalculator… What kind of marketing strategy is this? Where’s the perfume? You are ruining your business posting the photo of a scarecrow instead of the product that you want to promote. The head actually look like a Somalian scavenger like someone observed up there, There are knots on both sides of your forehead like someone hit them with hammers, hairs like someone who is half way from recovering from psychosis… Your 6 packs looks strange, the middle bit looks more like umbilical hernia. What kind of underwear are you putting on? Isn’t that women’s ‘halfsimi’ okrika? The only nice thing about your photo is your thick black trousers. It’s nice because it’s covering your spindly drum stick legs with atrophied calf muscles. If you were around me, I’ll put two stones or rocks in your pockets to prevent you from being blown away by the wind. |
Rosskiiku:Fulanis are not the only people whose businesses and way of life is affected by desertification and they are not the only people rearing cows. India is one of the most populous countries in the world and with severe reduction in grazing lands, they are number one in the world with the largest number of cows yet they have not killed off each other. Uruguay has most cows per capita in the world and they have turned this into a blessing with good management. New Zealand has more cows than humans and like Uruguay, this is a blessing rather than a curse. The countries above have their ecological issues but they have managed it well. Australia has a rich dairy business and culture yet the country is also affected by desert, Botswana, South Africa and Namibia rear cows yet they have the Kalahari, US and Brazil rear cows, even Argentina is affected by the Patagonia desert yet she has remained successful in dairy business. The Fulani issue in Nigeria can’t be compared to that of other west African countries, in Nigeria, the fulanis cause destruction to farm lands and also kill the farmers. Lately they are annexing lands and also kidnapping, raping and bringing miseries to host communities. It’s evil to compare southern traders with Fulani herders. Yes southern traders rent shops, buy lands and build shops, they also pay taxes and other revenues. Cattle business in Nigeria is multi billion dollar business but the fulanis want to eat their cakes and have it. Defending their atrocities make you sound bias and compromised. |
