bigfrancis21: Just walk into any photographer's shop and tell them you want to snap a 2 by 2 passport photograph. Its either called 5 by 5 in cm or 2 by 2 in inches. 2 by 2 is more popularly known by photographers. Just tell them 2 by 2. They'll get it quickly and do it accordingly. I took mine for 6 copies N500.

THE PROBLEM IS THE STATEMENT, HOW MANY MONTHS BANKS STATEMENT DID YOU PRINT. ANOTHER PROBLEM IS THE INFLOW OF THE STATEMENT, IF THERE IS A LODGEMENT IN THE ACCOUNT IT WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT TO PROVE THE SOURCE OF THE MONEY TO THE VO'S. Pally relax your mind, you will receive in 4-5wks, thank God you have not book your appointment. Is better to use courier for I-20 because the documents is very important. Nipost is no go area in you are in hurry.

You are in for long thing(wait), when was it sent I mean the date. Receiving documents from abroad with Nipost is a very big issue, btw 3-6wks you will receive it sha. Keep praying bro, that's what I can tell you.

It depend on the school you want to apply to, some schools accept transcript and will do internal evaluation themselves while others will ask u to evaluation your transcript from WES, ECE n co. All other documents should go straight to you school.
You can confirm from your school what they want before sending any documents out.

Feexo: House, Does anyone know about ECE? I intend using them to evaluate my transcript. I remember someone once mentioned that he/she used ECE and found them way better than WES.......

WES IS FAR BETTER THAN ECE, BUT ECE IS CHEAPER THAN WES. WES EVALUATION IS FASTER AND MORE RELIABLE AND YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF GOOD GPA AT THE END OF YOUR EVALUATION, WHILE ECE WILL REDUCE YOUR GPA AT THE END OF YOUR EVALUATION. THE GURUS IN THE HOUSE ADVICE PEOPLE TO USE WES AND I DIDN'T REGRET USING IT, DID MY EVALUATION WITHIN 2WEEKS TO 3 WEEKS

Good for you, my advice for you is this, put your mind maximum 3 to 4 weeks

Graviton: how do I know if my documents actually make it to the school?

If you use nipost registered mail they will give you tracking no which you can track it on usps site. Once they deliver it you will see it in there website that it as been delivered. Also your school will contact you once they receive your documents

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS IN YOUR SCHOOL, WHY AM ASKING IS THIS. DON'T BE SURPRISE IF NIPOST DIDN'T DELIVER YOUR DOCUMENTS IN 3 WEEKS BUT IF YOU STILL HAVE UP TO 2 MONTHS FOR SUBMISSION YOU CAN GIVE IT A TRY.

There's no particular dress code, the most important thing is to dress nice, clean and comfortable. If wearing of a tie will make you look comfortable please go ahead and wear it. But you they try sha woman with tie mon-thur

samnoah: Well, I shared from a personal experience. From the date the last verification was made by WES from my school to the date my transcript was ready was not beyond a week. Also, 23rd of August which happen to be the date your school confirmed WES's verification request was a friday. Hence between 26th of August which happens to be the monday after 23rd of August and 3rd of September is roughly a week and 2days. Which I guess is still good enough. Though I got mine under a week.

PS: by saying a week, I am talking about the transcript processing proper excluding the sending and the verification time involved.

That true, sending transcript and confirmation is the extra weeks on it.

If the one you have is not address to Wes, please go and collect another one from your school, because of the reference letter that will be address to Wes from your school. Wes will use the contact details on it to verify or authentic your transcript.
I will advice to pay Wes before sending your documents to them, once u pay they will give u a reference number that you will be using throughout the evaluation process so that you can check how far they av gone with your application.

JFK12: What about the date ? D date will be way back,hp it won't cause any problem?

Have 2 questions for you:
1- the transcript you have with you now, who did your school address it to. Why I ask that's this, your school contacts details will be in the reference letter not in the breakdown of your results. Abi u want to sent it to Wes without reference letter
2- when did u collect it(transcript)
