FoodRe: Your Worst Cooking Mistake Ever! by Lady2(f): 1:52am On Apr 25, 2008
lol, all the responses are pricless.

My own is too much to count.

But this was the most embarrassing.

I went to an ex-boyfriend's house to cook for him (without it he would starve or spend $100.00 per wook buying naija food at a restaurant).
I cooked ogbono soup with bitter leaf, but didn't let the bitter leaf (dried) sit in the hot water long enough. Well the food came out bitter. I kept adding salt to counter, even bigger mistake.

He was such a good sport, he pat me in the back and said "you tried". He ate it though.

I am not saying you should come to Cele or whatever. I am trying to form a church, i will be glad to have you as my choir mistress, abi you no fit sing?
HAHAHAHAHA, OF COURSE!!!!

I have one answer to you.

1 Timothy 6: 3-10

3 Whoever teaches something different and does not agree with the sounds of our Lord Jesus Christ and the religious teaching
4 is conceited, understanding nothing, and has a morbid disposition for arguments and verbal disputes. From these come envy, rivalry, insults, evil suspicions
5 and mutual friction among people with corrupted minds, who are deprived of the truth, supposing religion to be a means of gain
6. Indeed, a religion with contentment is a great gain
7 For we brought nothing into the world, just as we shall not be able to take anything out of it
8 If we have food and clothing, we shall be content with that
9 Those who want to be rich are falling into temptation and into a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge them into ruin and destruction
10 For the love of money is the root of all evils, and some people in their desire for it strayed from the faith and have pierced themselves with many pains.

The truth have been brought out, lol

Yes o, I can sing, but I am not called to sing, sorry.

I am so through with you, it's not even funny. In order for you to build yourself up you must tear down another. ALL IN THE QUEST TO WIN PEOPLE TO YOUR CHURCH FOR YOUR PERSONAL GAIN. May God have mercy on you.

1Timothy 6:20-21

20 Oh Timothy guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid profane babbling and the absurdities of so-called knowledge.
21 By professing it, some people have deviated from the faith.

This one is for me, so that I can truly be done with you.

Titus 3: 9-11

9 Avoid foolish arguments, genealogies, rivalries, and quarrels about the law, for they are useless and futile
10 After a first and second warning, break off contact with a heretic
11 realizing that such a person is perverted and sinful and stands self-condemned

No wonder you didn't read anything I wrote and you twisted it. You were hoping someone would notice you and seek your guidance in interpreting the Bible. That way you can start Bible study and eventually lead into a church.

If you were a true man of God, you wouldn't need to bash anyone. You wouldn't need to twist the truth. Religion with CONTENTMENT is a gain.

I AM DONE. YOU ARE OFFICIALLY DISMISSED.

Just so you know the Catholic Priests live as Paul lived. I suggest you read 1 Corinthians 9, the whole chapter. Yes they have the right to marry, but they give it up for God.

You people forgot to check the ones that didn't contradict. Incase you guys forget the atheist and muuuslims without the spirit say that the Bible contradicts, infact there's a thread for it. You guys are here trying to prove them right. Note that they didn't quote anything from the missing books in the Catholic Bible but those from the protestant Bible.

My dears God is not contradictory, period. The books don't contradict anything in the New Testament. Don't forget it is the New testament. The ones you all speak of are of the Old testament.

Compare those books to the Old Testament.

your own ignorance?
Nope, yours and the rest of your members. My dear don't come to preach to me. I have been in your shoes, I was a protestant. I said the same things that you were saying until I saw my mistake. So trust me, I am not the one for you to try to move from the Catholic Church. I certainly won't be a protestant, NEVER.

I at least don't speak out of ignorance. I at least don't speak out of hatred. I have been both ways, the Protestant way where I CONDEMNED God's people and myself in the process. Then I became a Catholic. Took my time to study the church and made up my mind. So I know what I'm talking about.

Look else where.

By the way, ~Lady~, how far have you gone with my book "Dignity & Duties of the Priest", can you be honest enough to tell us that you saw what St. Alphonsus Liguori said about a priest falling once a month and that he can still be excused? I hope say the thing never kpai you already. You should be sweating seeing the legitimization of atrocities and sin by your revered fathers i guess.
Nope I haven't found it. And if I do, what am I supposed to do? Leave the Catholic Church? For where my dear? Which church have I not been to that I haven't seen hypocrisy and false teachings and conduct. I have seen in the Baptist Church, in the Lutheran Church, in the non denominational church, in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in whatever church, name it, I have been there, even in the Cele Church. my dear I won't leave the Catholic Church, so save your breath.

Preach to thy kingdom come, but I won't leave the One Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church, especially to join a church of hypocrisy filled with members that play the role of God. I know, I have been there.
Car TalkDriver’s Licence: Lagos Setting A Dangerous Precedent – Frsc by Lady2(op): 6:42pm On Apr 24, 2008
The Zonal Commander, Zone 2, Federal Road Safety Commission, Mr. Chike Nwaka, has described as a dangerous precedent, the plan by the Lagos State Government to issue driver’s licence to motorists in the state.

Nwaka said the move was not only a big hurdle to the desire to enforce a safe driving culture but a threat to national security.

In an interview with newsmen after his familiarisation visit to the Ogun State Sector Command in Abeokuta on Wednesday, he explained that the motive behind the plan of the state was essentially monetary.

He warned that such motivation could snowball into other states agitating for the right to the issuance of such “a sensitive document.”

He said, “They (Lagos) are only trying to create problems for the masses and the motoring public. They want to set a precedent that will snowball into other states trying to have their own licence.

“It’s like they see this venture as a means of revenue generation. The Driver’s Licence is not just for revenue generation; it is for security. It is also to regulate motoring.”

He said motorists would be in a dilemma driving in Lagos without being able to drive on federal roads in the city.

“If such drivers with the Lagos licence drive on federal roads or drive to Ogun State, we will impound their vehicles,” said Nwaka, who urged the Lagos State Government to strengthen its support for the commission like other states to ensure more decent driving culture.

The acting Head of Operations, FRSC, Ogun State, Mrs. Kikelomo Alao, told the visitor that the command had been operating with only one patrol vehicle while another one had been grounded.

Alao said the absence of patrol vans, ambulance and towing trucks had hampered the effectiveness of the command.

Nwaka noted that for there to be significant improvement in motoring on the nation’s roads, the federal, states and the local governments needed to forge a strong cooperation among themselves.

The zonal commander said, “This work cannot be for just one person.

“The other day, the Ogun State Government gave the commission about 12 motorbikes. The Governor realised that it is important for us to work together always even though the state has an outfit that also controls traffic. The more the merrier.

“But where we are pulling in our own way, is it anarchy that we are looking for?”

Nwaka added that Nigerians should realise that the vehicle number plates and the driver’s licence were security-based elements which the FRSC was not ready to compromise.

What kind of reasoning is this? Seriously, who's this dude?  angry angry angry

How can u say that the issuance of state driver's license is not for the betterment of people. So what if it's used for monetary gains. Shouldn't the State be trying to raise money for the State of the people?

Miss Lady, kindly put your self in this senario and honestly tell me what you will do.

You are still Young

You have a strong sexual drive

You have a strong dersire to bear children

You are HIV Negative

Your husband is HIV positive
I will seek God's face and love him anyway. I don't see why I should betray him and the sanctity of marriage that we built. I don't see why I have to beat down on someone when they need me the most. I don't see why I should cause him depression as if finding out he's HIV positive isn't depressing enough. If you think sex is all there is to a marriage, you are msitaken.

Besides the first three are who I am right now, does that mean that I should commit fornication.
Dude if it is God's will in my life, then so be it.

I think you're the one who asked me a question about marrying the only good man in my village or something like that. I believe I told you to take that to your desperate muuuslim sisters. I am not desperate.

If it is not meant for me to marry, I WON'T COMMIT SUICIDE.
If my husband has HIV, I won't commit adultery

Seriously is that what you think? That human beings are disposable?

If you had died in that car crash (God forbid) you would have faced the righteous judge and seen the other face of God - No mercy
Dear God please have forgiveness on Olaadegbu, for he has played your role and delievered judgement on my soul. Lord it seems he knows where I am headed when I die.

May God have mercy on your soul for the judgement that you have passed on me. May God have mercy on your soul for your insensitivity to my issue. May God have mercy on your soul for your sins.

I am not even surprised. I've been telling you all along and now u seem to know where I will be when I die. May God truly have mercy on your soul.

If you had died in that car crash (God forbid) you would have faced the righteous judge and seen the other face of God - No mercy. As a God of justice He had to see that justice was done. An illustration to drive this point home is if someone murdered the mother you so loved (God forbid) and the murderer was brought to court before a very good judge. If the murderer admitted that he was guilty and that he pleaded for mercy, you would not be happy with the judge if he let him go on the basis of forgiveness and mercy. That judge must see that justice is done according to the law. God being a righteous judge will have to satisfy the law that says "the wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23

God's solution to this 'dilema' was to send His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die in our place. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16. An illustration of this is if you as a judge presiding over a court case and you are to decide the sentencing of a friend or relative who is found guilty of an offense of which the penalty is $10,000 or he goes to jail. If that relative or friend does not have the money a way you can help him out is by paying his fine. You satisfied the law by paying his fine. Jesus paid our fine of the law we broke by His blood, not by church affliation, nor by water baptism, nor by confession to a priest
All this is to show that I would go to hell when I die because I am a Catholic. If this is your way of winning souls to God. I will forever remain a Catholic. If you want jump off the river Niger, I will still be a Catholic.
If you like let it burn your spirits, I will still be a Catholic.
I worship God and ONLY God. You can stay blind if you want to.

You're so lucky you said this in a forum. If you were to say this to my face, I would slap you so hard, your great grandchildren would feel it.

Christianity EtcRe: The Missing Second Commandment: by Lady2(f): 3:08am On Apr 24, 2008
@imhotep, our Lady et al

With a tender conscience,
check this list of the Ten Commandments: Have I always loved God my Creator with all my heart, mind, soul and strength?
Have I made a god in my own image, a god to suit myself?
Have I ever used God's name in vain?
Have I kept the Sabbath holy?
Have I always honoured my parents implicitly?
Have I murdered (God considers hatred as murder)?
Have I committed adultery (including premarital sex and lust)?
Have I stolen (the value is irrelevant)?
Have I lied (including fibs and these questions)?
Have I coveted (been greedy or materialistic)?

If you have even broken one Law, then you have sinned against God and therefore will "surely die," for the "wages of sin is death."

We are all guilty of breaking the Commandments. Listen to the voice of your conscience, and let it remind you of some of the sins of the past. We are not perfect as we are commanded to be (Matthew 5:48), neither is our heart pure. On Judgment Day our transgressions will be the evidence of our shame. Think of it: God has seen every sin we have ever committed. We share our thought-life with Him.

We are guilty of violating His Law a multitude of times, yet if we repent, God can forgive us because Jesus stepped into the courtroom 2,000 years ago and paid the fine for us.

His death on the cross satisfied the Law we so blatantly transgressed, and at the same time demonstrated how much God loves us—"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." His shed blood on the cross can make you clean in the sight of a holy God, as though you have never sinned.

God doesn't want you to go to Hell. Please, forget your arguments, repent and put your trust in Jesus and be saved from God's wrath. Make Psalm 51 your prayer, then read your Bible daily and always obey what you read; God will never let you down.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
Make sure you go through the list yourself. The FACT that you pointed out the Catholics should let you know that you are judgmental and you have just played the role of God. Seriously man. Who told you I worship anyone but God? Your own intellect? Who told you that you aren't wrong?
The audacity you have. When you become the perfect human being then can you open your mouth and speak to me or any other person in the world. How hypocritical of you. If you can point out that you haven't disobeyed the ten commandments IN YOUR LIFE, then you can address this to me. Until then hold your peace.

I will answer your questions because I have sinned

Have I always loved God my Creator with all my heart, mind, soul and strength?
No before I became baptised and annointed as a Catholic Christian, I was a protestant who went around judging Catholics and bashing them because I lacked understanding and love for them. I did so because my mother did so and hence set a very bad example for me as a christian. So no, I did not love God because I didn't love his people. I didn't love his beautiful creatures.

Have I made a god in my own image, a god to suit myself?
Yes before I became a Catholic Christian, I worshipped MONEY. I thought it was the solution to my problems. I didn't realise that earthly things didn't matter. I was busy going to church every sunday asking for God to give me money so that I can pay for school, go shopping, go clubbing, get a nice car (it crashed this year with me in it, I almost lost my life)

Have I ever used God's name in vain?
Yes. I have said "O God" when not in prayer.

Have I kept the Sabbath holy?
I have tried, America doesn't make it easy.

Have I always honoured my parents implicitly?
I have really tried. But the Bible said that they shouldn't provoke their children, and they have tried, lol.
I love my mummy.

Have I murdered (God considers hatred as murder)?
Yes (hated) my step father. He has tried to take my life several times and mostly thru juju. I believe in God for a DEFINITE reason. I have let it go. I have forgiven him. I wish him peace.

Have I committed adultery (including premarital sex and lust)?
Yes, ORLANDO BLOOM LOOKS REALLY GOOD.

Have I stolen (the value is irrelevant)?
Ah I can honestly say no, I have not. Ha fear no gree me.

Have I lied (including fibs and these questions)?
In my life, Yes. On these questions, No.

Have I coveted (been greedy or materialistic)?
Yes, I was mostly driven by greed when looking for material riches from a protestant church.
Yes I was looking for power, I wanted to marry a politician and be his pretty little wife.
I was driven by the love of money. I mentioned these above.

But here's the funky thing. God is oh so merciful and oh so loving towards me and he shows me everyday as I strive towards perfection in him.

I have answered your questions. Are you bold enough to be truthfulhuh?

But I want to add this and please search yourself and discover the meaning of judgment before you answer. Have you placed yourself as God by judging others? (I have proof that you have, so be careful) Remember the greatest evil a man can do to himself is to deceive himself.
PoliticsRe: Are Titles Really Important? by Lady2(f): 2:14am On Apr 24, 2008
Bossman

I beg to differ. Come to America and address a Judge as Mr. or Mrs. Judge and see if they won't throw you in Jail.
I also beg to differ on the Ph.D title. It is earned well, if earned at all. I dare not call my Professors with Ph.Ds, Mr. or Miss or Mrs. I can't even call them Professor, they will quickly correct you that they have their Ph.Ds. Don't even make the mistake of calling someone without a Ph.D, Dr in their presence, they will let you and that person know that it isn't earned.

It's not only in Nigeria. As for Almondjoy quoting "Mr. or President Bush" you're only speaking of the Presidency title. Besides isn't "President" a title?

I do think that titles that are not earned are ridiculous. But please for those that are earned, show some respect. You can't call Obama, Mr. Obama, you call him Senator and that's a title.

Only in Nigeria. One can be a mass murderer at get off scot free. . . for enough naira.
Not only in Nigeria. A 14 year old boy was beaten and killed by guards at a juvenile boot camp and the nurse was cheering them on, Florida, USA. It was caught on video tape, but they walked away FREE.

Alleluia! Produce jehova from that. Or you want to try Yahweh for size? Claim what you wil from now till Sunday, the fact will not change even if you denied it.

God says in the Qur/an that Ibrahiim was not a Jew nor a Christian, but a negator of multiple heads god belief, he was a Great One and did not associate any partnership with One God. I guess you will try to disregard the relationship of god with Ibrahiim. It is the covenant of Ibrahiim that the Mu/slims count on. thats where we have our relationship with God. Not through the tribalistic Jews or the multple heads god worshipper Christians! lol.
If I were to derive questions from this post, it would be deleted and marked offensive as it would challenge the credibility of Muhaaamad and the Qu''ran.

By the way HALLELUYAH means Praise Yahweh or Praise God. I checked and YAH is a shortened form of Yahweh in the Hebrew language.
I know you're trying to show that All'ah is in Alleluia, but it's not. Alleluia is the Latin form of Halleluyah (the original form). When speaking to you, you were trying to prive to me that All'ah is in there, but you were using the hebrew language to prove it. Alleluia is not Hebrew but Latin. Halleluyah is Hebrew, therefore All'ah is not present, but Yahweh is. Or do you want to say that the Jews corrupted their language too and the Arabs know it better?

Sorry for not calling you back, worked all night.

Christianity EtcRe: The Missing Second Commandment: by Lady2(f): 2:14am On Apr 23, 2008
Lady, you and Imhotep are being disingenous . . . the phrase in contention is ABSENT from the "Traditional Catechetical Formula" on the right.
What you keep bleating about is a direct quote from Exodus . . . unfortunately you can't simply delete whatever u don't like from the bible since there are billions of copies in print but you can choose to pick and choose which parts of the commandments you want to follow which is exactly what the catholic church has done.
Seriously dude, IT IS NOT ELIMINATED. IT IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT.

This clearly makes the worship of statues of Mary, the veneration of dead "saints" andthe worship of the crucifix unbiblical. It would also be clear to those who are not spiritually blind that to make any mortal man VICARIUS FILLI DEI (the likeness of Christ on earth) is blasphemy. You would never be able to understand this if you simply looked at "have none other God's but me".
Ok dude, we don't worship Mary. I have never said "oh Mary Mother of God, I worship thee, you are my saviour" or "Saint Monica, I worship thee and you are my saviour"
I have NEVER witnessed any Catholic do so. So stop with the madness. YOU are making it what it is not. God forbid me worship Mary or anyone other than God. I don't see anything wrong in honouring.
Oh my goodness, if you have a problem with it, then protest the building of Martin Luther King Jr. Monument in Washington. He no longer walks the earth. Infact go to Naija and protest all statues, those people no longer walk the earth. Go to Ghana and protest the monument on Kwame Nkrumah. For real dude, do you know the difference between honour and worship. I doubt you do.
Stop making a false claim because you want to run your mouth.

VICARIUS FILLI DEI (the likeness of Christ on earth)
Aren't we supposed to be like Christ? Isn't that what Christianity means? Drop the term Christian.
