tosyne2much:
That's true.. We so much ridicule ladies on ths forum
Why do you (tosyne2much) for example do it? Just want to know the reason.

I give those threads no attention, cos they are always biased. There are more than 10 ways to identify anything. Moreover, the people propagating the 10 pointers have no qualifications to do so. They haven't studied human behavior or psychology either, so it's all bullshit. It's just a medium to gain popularity and drive traffic to 1. The blog, 2. To nairaland. Again like I said, most people have had negative experiences so what do you expect when they see a topic that voices out what they are thinking?

Why do you think propaganda sells?
Because it's bound to create controversy as some people will be trying to prove it wrong while others try to prove it right. I know controvery, violence and s*x sell.

On my bad days, you'll see me generalizing girls, not because I haven't dealt with good girls, and on other days, I defend girls not because I haven't dealt with the devilish ones. It all depends on the angle one chooses to look at it.

I put it to you, LadyX, that you've also dealt with devilish men. Some days, you feel like all men are evil and basically the same. . . Am I wrong?
No, you are right.
It's just that I've noticed most of the "10 reasons...10 signs...10 ways to identify..etc" mostly target ladies.

Think I will post that topic, when I get time.

Cases like these should make you stronger. Post the topic and glean the positives out. Also bear it in mind that someone with negative experiences will have nothing positive to say about the female folk, not that he doesn't know that not all females are one directional, but because it's a faceless avenue to rant. The ladies pained the more are the upright ones, and if they do nothing to create a balance, that's how it's gonna be.
Wow this is encouraging!

I'm sowi dearie.. I'd change henceforth
You will change, but what about the rest?
The truth is if you're not strong and you post a topic seeking for advice, there are high chances that after receiving some of the 'advice' you'll wish you didn't post in the first place.

This is why the females on nairaland are always oppressed by The males, a guy is trying to boost our ego here and the females are badmouthing him.
Smh...
It's so bad...and from their comments it's like they enjoy being oppressed.

Some of the topics/posts bashing women can make one feel inadequate or if you're not strong, they can lower your self esteem. For instance, when a lady asks for advice, instead of advising some people bash her. They try to justfy why she is facing whatever challenge she is facing, without considering her feelings.

Yesterday I thought of posting a topic, "Say no to ladies being attacked online," but when I thought about the kind of bashing/insults I would receive, I said it's not worth it. I decided not to have anything to do with topics that bash women.

Hearing such positive stories has made me change my opinion about dating period.

Sugarpeaches:
I had a roommate who was running a sandwich program ,she kept on saying she has been with her husband for 22 yrs now ,dat was last year (2014). I was surprised cos dis woman obviously isn't up to 40, she den explained dat she started dating him while in secondary school, den she went to the same university wit him, so dey dated a total of 12 yrs n have been married for 10 yrs . Right now she's so happy ,cos her husband is well to do and treats her like a queen . But its different stroke for different folks, wat worked for her may not work for someone.

Wilson Airport is found in Nairobi Kenya. It's close to Nairobi National Park. It's used for domestic flights.

Kenya has few people who are very rich and many who are very poor. There's a middle class too.

There's just one person who gives his money to the poor. Yesterday he gave 100 wheelchairs to the physically handicapped.

The government has put measures in place to help its citizens especially the poor like free primary education, free maternity healthcare, development funds for women & the youth, money for the elderly.
Most rich people are concerned about their own affairs, not poor people.

immortalvoices:
Just as some posters above me postulated..kenya is a very poor country

Where that money could av save many souls

And beside expensive gift does not guarantee "lasting relationship"
RomanceRe: . by LadyX(f): 12:06pm On Feb 15, 2015
Good point. Unfortunately these people don't reason like that. I remember few years ago a man hired a helicopter from Nairobi to deliver flowers to his girlfriend in a town called Kericho.

There was a 5 star hotel in Nairobi with a Val's offer of 2.3million (around 25 000 dollars) for 2.

Blackett:
Pointless, and a waste of money. . .

There are hungry people in kenya that would have benefited a lot if this man had divided the money for this helicopter amongst them. But he spent it on a girl who services other men apart from him. A girl that'll still leave him in the end. A girl that'll turn out to be an ungrateful _bitch!

I know some _idiot Nigerian men did similar yesterday, all in the name of love. But is this really love? Love of neighbor is the greatest love of all. Your neighbor doesn't have to be someone you know. If a man can buy a rangerover of 24 million naira for a girlfriend who he isn't certain to marry, of what point is it, apart from making the news and popularity that wouldn't last? There is something fvcking wrong with this world. 24 million naira would have settled the hospital bills of hundreds of people. So also the money for this helicopter. People that'll never forget you forever for atleast saving their life, even if they eventually die, but for prolonging their life.

In the end, no one remembers you for the expensive gifts you gave to girlfriends, but for how you impacted positively on the lives of others.

Anyway, don't mind the rants.

I wonder oo.

She should have left him after 6 years, when she was 27.

Anyway, her investment was the job she got for him..
She thought the guy had to marry her because she got him a job. When you do good don't expect payment otherwise you'll be disappointed.

That's a very long time to date. You c'd fall out of love. It's easy for him to dump you and go for another 'fresh' person.

How old are you? Are you a boy or a girl?

You have no source of income. If you are a boy you might become a robber to get money. If you are a girl you might become a prostitute. Is that the kind of life you want?

You better stay with your mum and work hard at school. BTW why did she beat you?
