PoliticsRe: Obasa: Lagos Assembly Passes A Vote Of Confidence On Speaker by lanchy: 1:23am On Jun 09, 2020
What baffles me about Nigeria is this, a poor person enters politics and becomes a multi-millionaire or billionaire in the spate of 2 - 5 years, yet none of you including that useless good for nothing EFCC cared to ask where this money came from!!?? Where did even Tinubu get money from......was he not broke before he became Governor the first time with his "Toronto" certificate!?

Back in the days the thieves used to stash their money in foreign bank accounts, now that the thief is now the landlord of the house he used to steal from, having stolen the house......he does not need to hide his money abroad!

The STUPID amongst you, instead of freeing your minds from foolish tribal and jealousy driven pursuits....that is caused by lack of success, which is as a result of a lack of resources like electricity/good roads/enabling environment for business growth/cheap raw materials....etc, instead of attacking each other, attack what is holding you back, those useless people/politics/useless way of thinking.
RomanceRe: Do I Tell My Boyfriend He's Not Smart ? by lanchy: 7:12pm On Jun 07, 2020
He might be depressed, thus has little interest in most things hence the half arsed answers, either that or he has something really bothering him. As you described he seems lethargic hence why I first mentioned depression, let me tell you something this depression affects a lot more Nigerians than we think, and is nothing to be ashamed of.

Most Nigerians came from a pressure cooker environment which has affected them profoundly, a lot had dreams and aspirations they thought would have been achieved in their 20's but still chasing them in their 40's of no fault of theirs, some have resorted to serious ahem "crime"........others rack their mind continuously like a SUPER computer thinking day and night on how to get out of a situation, they are SMARTER than, yes! Educated Nigerians doing jobs that are beneath their intellectual capacity, this is torture to an active mind.....they may as well be in prison!

This is a hard question, you have put forward, I can only say this, any man worth anything in life usually has the support of a strong woman, directly or indirectly, same goes for women.
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Bandits: "Surrender Or Face Disgraceful And Violent End" by lanchy: 6:17pm On Jun 07, 2020
Nigerians!.........We should all look at our watch and acknowledge collectively that at this hour on so and so day, we agreed Nigeria is a failed state, all those Northern states lost to bandits, and there is boko haram and kidnappers, Police and Army brutality, VIO, FRSC, LASMA all sorts of rats and cockroach organisations and individuals out to make live a misery on a daily basis.

The only time government is visible is during elections, and time to share money!

PoliticsRe: FG To Tax Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Others by lanchy: 5:54pm On Jun 07, 2020
Nigeria, a country of fools, run by idiots! Until you learn to say NO......and Enough is enough, will these idiots continue to exploit you!!

The first alarm bell was petrol subsidy - Till now no refinery, so you continue to pay excess amounts for cheap gasoline at inflated prices. The man who made the milk and sold it for 1k is now buying butter at 5k, and refuses to learn how to make butter from milk.

Secondly, they expect you to pay world prices for mediocre service, how can you compare the prices for fuel in Nigeria to other developed countries where fuel duty is adequately used to make good roads!!?? Which is non-existent in Nigeria.

The truth is this, you Nigerian cowards will bend and bend and bend till you will break and then the bloodletting will be worse than Liberia!!
PetsRe: Finally Got A Wild Bird As Pet (Photos) by lanchy: 11:26am On Jun 06, 2020
That was its first flight, the other bird you thought was fighting with it, was its parent teaching it to fly, it is not strong enough to fully fly, feed it with small rodents like mice, or big insects like grasshoppers or cockroaches!! until it is strong enough to fend for itself and release it.

OP, if you do not release this bird in good health, bad things will happen, no one asked you to go and pick it up, not to mention removing the feathers it took so long to grow.

God no go let someone remove your own feathers of success ooo, say amen and treat that bird well and release it when it can fly ok?

BusinessRe: Help, I'm Being Frustrated By The Rules Of My Mum's Business by lanchy: 4:35pm On May 28, 2020
The system is designed to regulate the price of onions, simple. It regulates the volume available and sets the price as well, thus controlling supply and thus being able to control prices.

In simple terms it is a cartel, you will know this if you go against it, they will ruin your business!! Your only way around it is to open new turfs (shops away from the cartel control), engage (register your own ghost members, that way they help you buy more) more underlings to be able to use them to buy more onions from the cartel and resell at the new turf.

Finally start stealing their customers, sell slightly cheaper (at first) at the new store and direct all customers there!!!!

Next find out their suppliers and cut them out!! Buy direct and in bulk.

After you succeed contact me, I will of course kneel and kiss your ring hand as you are on your way to being a don(na), capable of taking over their business after building market share.
PhonesRe: Telcos To Lose Non-Utilized Licences As FG Suspends Spectrum Trading by lanchy: 9:26am On May 28, 2020
No mind dem, common sense is not common! It means the new people you speak of, can provide rival services to drive cost down and services up. Most Telco/Radio/TV companies buy up these frequencies to discourage small time providers!! One day Nigerians will realise, they too can set up a radio station or TV or Telco at the snap of their finger!

igbsam:
See those people's comment above. you will know that only few read to understand or they didn't even read at all.

Awon olodo goons.

TravelRe: My Flight Experience With A Flight Attendant by lanchy: 5:55pm On May 27, 2020
I always encounter good looking cabin crew except on flights to Nigeria......where everyone wants to fight you, or inconvenience you one way or another! My last flight from Lagos the guy behind me kept pushing the seat with his knee and banging on the headrest, when the plane eventually landed he squeezed through a gap by my seat (front row) then pushed me aside to get to his bag, even though I was on the front row and should be first in line, if i wanted to, i could make his visit very difficult as that is "assault" he pushed me, unlike Nigeria.....the Police are obliged to investigate, take statements, make arrests and prosecute accordingly at which point he would incur Lawyer costs......Makes sense to watch how you behave in new environments!
PoliticsRe: Dorcas Jolayemi: Police Detained Me Because My Husband Criticised Lai Mohammed by lanchy: 3:26pm On May 26, 2020
So that ugly Lai Mohammed can order someones arrest without trial.....another thing is this, NEVER follow a Policeman anywhere....ask them to arrest you instead, and read you your arrest...do not go anywhere until they mention arrest.

Else, you followed them of your own accord and they will say you agreed to everything, if they arrest you for a crime you did not commit, then that is wrongful imprisonment and you can sue for loss of earnings........if you follow them freely, you give all this up.

Now back to the issue at hand, that ugly Lai Mohammed is a tyrant!!! Lai lasan lasan.....come and arrest me here!!
AgricultureRe: How Do I Unclog The Drain? by lanchy: 12:41pm On May 25, 2020
https://greenerideal.com/guides/4-ways-to-unclog-a-drain-naturally/

Mix a cup of hydrogen peroxide with a tablespoon of baking soda. Pour this mixture down your drain and let it foam. This should help to break up the clog and clear your drain.

For the record,, I use more than a tablespoon of baking soda!

NisforNicky:
Thank you so much.
I'll go get the items and try this..

Do I mix them in a 1:1 equal part ratio?
AgricultureRe: How Do I Unclog The Drain? by lanchy: 6:05am On May 25, 2020
Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide mixture, pure it down the drain after mixing well, it will dissolve anything organic and leave your piping intact!

Most people take pride in their effort and will not like to do certain activities if they know the outcome will be less than acceptable, this is why OP is apologising.......OP is used to a certain level of perfection! Read about "Human Behavioural Science", very fascinating.

I just hate reading people apologizing for their so-called typos or wrong grammar and sentence.

How may Oyinbo sabi speak and write Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa?

Papichulostunne:
So your point in this long essay is what? I should respect an animal? Something God gave you dominion over.. Your sense dey pain you. Wait sorry, your sense dey REALLY dey pain you
Shows the limit of your intelligence, could God in his infinite wisdom have given you that dominion over them to "protect" them. The problem with your small brain is that it does not grasp the concept of positive thinking, instead of seeing the worst outcome in a scenario, imagine also the better option too.

This is the same reason when Nigerians get into power they mis-behave, oppressing people with their new power instead of impressing people with their new power.

God gave you dominion over other animals because it was you he gave the sense of right and wrong, so you can see the injustice done to other animals and use your God given sense to challenge it, that's why most "sensible" people are condemning this action.........and then there is you!
FoodRe: The Monkey I Killed Early This Morning by lanchy: 5:49am On May 16, 2020
There is hope for Nigeria, most people are condemning this action, and rightly so. These type of animals that are closer to man in the evolutionary chain deserve respect, in this life other living things deserve respect, it is the mark of a true "human being", respect those before you, so those after you can do the same.

Monkeys, Apes and a lot of other living things deserve their own respect and you NOT to interfere with them just for your amusement or otherwise. That is the ONLY reason I like India, they understand and treat each living animal with respect, even though they the Indians are a waste of space and number one rape capital of the World.

Some people do not see past their nose, if today you allow someone, anyone to arrest an innocent citizen who has NOT broken the law, tomorrow, I can order your arrest for this nonsense statement you made below and 28 Nairalanders will upvote my comment detailing the injustice I have done to you!!.

Igobang:
I support the arrest. If the parents of the girl never cared for her, he will not find her fit to marry.

So Y show disrespect to her family and particularly her parents. Courtesy demands that u go for introduction and let the parents know who is marrying their daughter. WTF!
FamilyRe: Should You Obey Ignorant Parents?? by lanchy: 12:47pm On May 09, 2020
The simple answer to this question is this! Nigeria was made in the image of our parents!!! Shock! All the horror, insecurity, civil war, corruption, bribery, lack of development was put in place by the actions or lack of actions of our parents who inherited this country post independence!! It is the life long duty of every Nigerian (human being) to see the limitations of their parents (God bless them, we don't hate them, but their ignorance put us in this situation) and strive past it, thus this way bettering them.

Most parents want their children to be more successful than them, the above is the only way, do NOT be limited by your parents they are the version 1.0 of you, and you must provide version 2.0, so as your child version 3.0 and so on....that is how "a people" develop and move forward.

- Highly skilled Migrant Programs, a point based scheme is for new and budding educated/skilled workers (Engineers, Doctors, Accountants)
