ModestGal: I'm 100% sure she's from a rich family. Having lived in the North, poor people don't send their female children to school, only rich class can afford good private schools for their children in primary/secondary schools to pass waec and jamb. In public schools, they can't even speak English after graduation, are they the one that will study medicine? That girl had car since teenagehood I have seen countless northerners that are successful doctors from humble backgrounds. I once asked a friend, find me a girl in your medical set so when we get married we can both leave the country since medical personnel's are high in demand. He simply looked at me in despair and said- who will take care of all these people when we all leave. Its about personal conviction and selflessness. Look die this your mentality, i have another friend that spent abt 10years in canada, he has one of the biggest farms in benue today and he's fully bac now with his family still abroad. Im not saying its wrong or a disservice to Nigeria when you leave, my point is, this an opinionated topic and she has her reasons for staying behind. And stop that your garbage stereotype, i had 4As in my Olevel, i was thought Maths, physics and Chemistry in pure Hausa (dont ask me what i got in English lol). Inshort in my school youll be shocked to find pple that can speak pidgin, its either youre on clean english, arabic or ur local dialect. Im suprised pple are actually angry at this, this is the type of "me and myown" type of mentality we have today thats why this country will never go forward. NB- if i have the opportunity to move, i will grab it...lol, for my personal reasons obviously. |

sweetmelanin: I was actually thinking of creating a thread on this.
What exactly do people mean by "stay back or return back to contribute to the country"?
It's easy for this lady as she's a doctor.. she feels content and comfortable even though her wages and living conditions are quite substandard compared to her counterparts in other countries...
she's a typical Nigerian who has the thought process of 'as long as I'm comfortable, everyone else can go to hell' ...
..what about millions of Nigerian youths who studied other courses in uni and haven't been able to get a job? Young people wasting away with no hope for the future.. They should all start businesses right? What businesses if I may ask? Hair dressing, poultry, small chops and farming? The government has no plans for the future of its youths.
Those who believe that it is the citizen's job to fix Nigeria, please what is our government there for? what is their responsibility? Wow im actually suprised you came to this conclusion from just what she said! Have u ever seat back and think of who will take care of the teeming masses that cant afford to move, in terms of medical requirements? why are we like this in this country now? This is an opinionated topic, and i think we are not fair on her- we cant conclude that shes from a rich family... based on what data? Do u know what it takes to manage an ordinary maternity home in this country? Do u know the high rate of motality? This is very bad! You mentioned the govt! are these pple aliens? Govt is made up of you and me o.... |
Family › Re: Must I Fall In Love Before I Marry? by lapazi(m): 7:19am On Dec 30, 2020 |
RisenPhoenix1: No. In fact, falling in love must be the single greatest reason why so many marriages end up in divorce. This is because when you love, you close your eyes to her faults and still go ahead to marry. By the time your eyes open after one or two children; as they surely will; all the faults will just hit you gbam in the face. You will then either divorce, start cheating, or live out the rest of your life in an unhappy and dysfunctional marriage. It is far better to go into marriage with open eyes; i.e. no love blinding you. That way, you choose wisely.
Of course the above advice is obviously only for men, since women never marry for love but enter marriage with open eyes, and are always fully aware of the man's faults before they marry. Wow who dafuq is this guy? Dann so expertly caught! I wouldn’t even add a full stop to this piece! Everybody listen to this guy!!! |
Car Talk › Re: Acura ZDX, Honda Crosstour And The BMW X5 by lapazi(m): 7:02pm On Dec 29, 2020 |
Spaxon: Hello. I dunno if I can get help. I don't really know the specs of these cars. But I believe we got people with great experience here. My Dad's retired and wants to get one of these and we are actually inexperienced with cars outside Toyota. These cars are luxury cars, I’m surprised no one is talking abt the BMW. That’s a super car and the rest on your list don’t measure! So if it’s value for money you want and the prestige that comes with it, go for the BMW. ZDX is an Acura brand, the luxury arm of Honda. Just as Lexus is to Toyota. Definitely a wayyy better ride than the crosstour, but of course you can’t compare to a German machine! Crosstour is a failed attempt by Honda to mimic the successful Toyota brand called Venza. A mid-range high performance vehicle that appears to look like an accord made out with a Pilot lol. Trust me the interior is same as that of accord 012 above. If you’ve driven such car before you’ll definitely hate this Crosstour. In short I doubt that it’s still in production. Accord parts fit it well that’s why pple will say it’s parts are cheap. Summary: if you popcy hold side well o, get the BMW If your popcy still hold him rep go for ZDX. Ditch the crosstour idea. As for those saying Honda dey pull leg, I have used honda from 86 model, halla, bulldog, baby boy, all the versions of accord from 03 to 14. Currently on 14. I have never for once had such experience. It’s just bad drivers with poor maintenance culture that experience such. |

rtdCivilservant: The criminal must have collected ur atm details at one of the places u used ur card on their pos, this is one major risk in pos transactions. Whenever u use ur card on a pos, don't let them get hold of ur card too much or if possible handle ur card ursef. The idiot either transferred ur money to someone in Bayelsa or to his own account, he doesn't necessarily has to be in Bayelsa, perhaps he opened the account in Bayelsa and resides now in same state as u. Major suspects: All the people u have used ur card on their pos. @dammycree to add to what this OP said, other suspects are online sites that youve used your card, major culprit are betting sites, airlines, online stores, they have very poor security feature! So your bank cant be held liable here because to them it would appear as a legitimate transfer Going forward you request your bank to configure your acct such that whenever youre making a transfer above a certain amt, it must require OTP or Token |

Nuel4: you are here sprouting nonsense you have absolutely no way of proving other than what some white colonial masters told you. There are people in this world suffering from problems with zero solution other than eventual death. These people are defrauding into taking all the suffering only to end up dead instead of avoiding all the pains and ending it right from the beginning. People should have right to decide whether or not they want to continue the struggle. The elite try their best to make sure the miserables are are Discouraged from breaking the system. Mass suicide would have solved majority of the problems in this world Guy your logic no follow! When there is life there is hope! Never never condone this act, because no one holds the key to the future! The only way self acclaimed death can be allowed is if it is medically recommended, such as pulling the plug on someone that is in a vegetable or complete state of suffering or when that persons life is endangers the live of another being in the case of mother and a fetus. So die that logic! |
