Why the inconsistency
Cool
Radical, l have NEVER been inconsistent, ask anyone on NL.
What do l stand to "gain" or "fear"?
Thing is you misunderstood the "context" of both posts.

The "before" was an exhortation to impoverished Nigerians, directly-directed at those who loot their money! Not the members of their "ethnic/tribe/Religious followership!
In other words if they loot your money and use it to build houses, its not wrong to burn down those houses!
Mind you, this is not just a "wanton destruction", it is to force the 'oppressors' to have a re-think. Simples.

The "Now" is to remind that feller called "Karpenter" who wants to kill Yorubas or Christians (even those not remotely related to OBJ!) for what OBJ did in Odi and Zaki Biam. That l think is wrong.

So You see, always consistent.

Cheers.

No, l am saying the employee can sue the employer for wrongful dismissal!

The employer can not use that "clause" in the contract to defend itself because that contract is void, (by reason of its unenforceable terms).

But again, we must put into context, the "nature of the work" the employee is engaged in.
There are some things called "occupational Barriers" like you cannot employ a blind person as an eye surgeon!
It is automatic disqualification so, such blind person can not sue for discrimination due to his blindness!

Same may apply to the case of the Air Stewardess.

Once your condition (Pregnancy in this case) is not a "core-barrier" to discharging your duty. FOr example, why cant a pregnant woman be a teacher? But can she be a Stewardess? (Flight problems to the baby, size of tummy to serve customers, bending down, in case of emergency can she be of any help to passengers?, e.t.c)

Cheers.

@Ifyalways
@OP,provide answers to Lastpage's questions. And as a matter of fact, some companies include it in the appointment letter that you lose your employment without benefits the day you are found to be pregnant.Life is all about choices.
Even when it is stated in the appointment letter, it can still be over-ruled.
It is said to be "void" ab-initio.

Like if we agree or contract that you will pay me if l kill someone, that contract is illegal and therefore void, it is therefore unenforceable, if l refuse.

So, if the "contract letter" is void from the onset, the employer cannot enforce it in law.
Cheers.

Its just a question of time, those two will sleep with each other eventually.

Its a road we have traveled before and l will tell you that only your wife/husband can help you overcome this kind of challenge!

Now, it depends if your husband or wife is matured enough to see that you "are seeking genuine help" to overcome a situation you find difficult to handle alone. I hope he or she would not get overly suspicious and condemning!

I always tell people that the greatest source of power in a tempting sexual encounter, is your spouse.
But it i a dangerous step to take if your spouse is not the very matured (in mind, not age) type.

Speak to your husband first, tell him you're "fighting a challenge because you're his wife and your faithfulness is 100% to him".
He will be "very alert and probing" but let him know that you're just trying to take "pre-emptive action" and that nothing serious has happened, knowing that both of you work in the same office! grin grin

My guy can decide to look for another work for you pronto! grin grin

On the other hand, if l were your husband, and you needed my help,
*l will ask you to invite him to our house and l will lay it bare on the table and task him: "How would you feel if l have an affair or slept with your wife?
He will be embarrassed first but that would force him to think.

*I would also ask his wife how she will feel if my wife slept with his husband?

*I would demand answers.

*I would then tell them to ask us the same question and we are obliged to answer them.

*I will then tell them that as "family friends now" we must no do anything that might hurt anyone of us.

*I would ask that we remain very PLATONIC FRIENDS and always be on the look out for ourselves (interest).

We will have lunch and depart on a jovial note.

I will then call the guy confidentially and apologize to him (to assuage his ego and not turn him into an enemy of my wife in the office) and ask that he understands why that discussion has to happen at my prompting.

MEN usually get over that kind of blushing very quickly.

I will also tell my wife to ensure that their discussion does not get intimate and personal henceforth, so that sexual feelings would not be aroused.

With time, l would remove the 'devil' away from the 'cookie' jar by looking for another job for either of the two!

Make una no vex o, na my style of doing things be that o! wink wink

BTW: I have finished tying all those poo before realizing the Op's marriage was in shambles already!
I thought they still had feelings for each other! Anyway, that being the case, teh above would not even come-up. Impossicant! grin grin
Try if possible, to find a way to resolve the "beating problem".
Dont want to apportion blame but like they say, "it takes two to tango".
The Yorubas will say "Kind words deflate anger while harsh words infuriates" grin wink

Maybe the husband is jut one of those slowpokes that is a brute, very aggressive and a bully. If that is the case, it will take extreme patience on your part to mend your marriage otherwise, the only option is to "separate" (did no say divorce o!) for a while an see whether absence will bring back the fire (except that you want to use the absence for side-show, which will actually kill the fire patapata!)

1.)Where you queried before now? How many times/

2.) Do you have an issue with absenteeism?

3,) Is your file filled with warning letters?

4.) Di they give you a letter of sack (Does it contain the reason of your sack? It should by the way)

5.) Hopefully, l will assume you have not committed any act of "gross indiscipline" (like stealing), correct me if l am wrong please.

If you dont have an issue with any of the above and your sack letter contains a reason for the sack, tell me and lets reason together.

It is DISCRIMINATION to sack a woman for being pregnant (the best that can happen is she goes on leave without pay). If that itself, is WRONG but lets not be in a hurry to pass judgement yet.

IN CASE YOU DONT KNOW HIS ZAKARE BIU, READ HIS BIOGRAPHY FOR STARTERS!

http://dailypost.com.ng/2012/01/19/the-man-called-zakari-biu/
Until a fortnight ago, many would have vowed that he was no longer a policeman. But controversial officer Zakari Biu, recently promoted  Commissioner of Police (CP), has long been ‘secretly’ back in the force. The escape of the Madalla  bombing suspect from his custody has put the enigmatic policeman to the limelight. Will this be his end? OLUKOREDE YISHAU and OLUKAYODE THOMAS write

He was a man after the heart of Inspector-General of Police Hafiz Ringim. Zakari Biu, the embattled police officer in charge of terrorism in whose custody a bombing suspect, Kabir Sokoto, escaped two days ago, was until this year a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). Ringim recommended him to the Police Service Commission (PSC) for promotion to Commissioner of Police. The PSC, after its 25th plenary meeting, approved Ringim’s recommendation. The commission, in its wisdom, also decided that Biu’s promotion should take effect from last December 15.

As the commission announced Biu’s promotion on New Year’s Day, it also said nine other officers were reprimanded. A Deputy Superintendent of Police was demoted to Assistant Superintendent of Police for conduct not expected of a senior officer.

Its Chairman, Parry Osayande, said the PSC would always reward diligence with elevation and punish offenders.  Less than a month after it happily promoted Biu, the commission, most likely, will have to review its decision, with Biu’s alleged negligence leading to the escape of a suspect believed to be central to the Madalla blast in which scores died.

He is on suspension. Sadly for him too, the officers, whom he asked to escort the suspect to his house before his gang waylaid them and set their colleague free, fled yesterday, leaving Biu all alone. grin grin

Like Ringim, Biu is due for retirement next month. For many who have had encounters with him, nemesis may be at work. Under the regime of the late Gen. Sani Abacha, the embattled cop was terror personified. As head of the regime’s Presidential Task Force on Terrorism, he terrorised journalists and human rights activists, who he labeled terrorists.

Journalists on the stables of The News, TSM and Tell were the worse hit. The publisher of the now rested TSM, Chris Anyanwu, who is now a senator, narrated how Biu physically assaulted her and practically got her eyes permanently impaired. Founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) Dr. Frederick Fasehun, can never forget Biu, whom he told the Oputa Panel set up by former President Olusegun Obasanjo how the embattled cop assaulted him. Senator Babafemi Ojudu, who was Managing Editor of The News, said Biu put a gun to his head, threatening to blast his brain.

The Borno-born cop is also criticised over the death of a reporter with The News, Bagauda Kaltho.Biu claims Kaltho was trying to detonate a bomb in a hotel and got killed in the process. Kaltho’s widow was also tricked by Biu to reveal information about Independent Communications Nigeria Limited (ICNL), publishers of The News on the pretext of reuniting her with her husband. It turned out he only deceived the woman, as he used the information to invade the magazine’s offices, carting away its property. Of course, he also arrested workers found on site during the raid. Biu’s deceit became clear to Mrs. Kaltho after the dreaded cop announced her husband’s death. He claimed a copy of Wole Soyinka’s book, The Man Died, was found at the scene where Kaltho was supposedly consumed by a bomb he was trying to detonate. Yet the book was not defaced by the explosion, which killed Kaltho! His remains were never released to his family.

Biu, at a press conference after Abacha’s death, said Kaltho was the “unidentified” person who died while planting a bomb which went off at Durbar Hotel, Kaduna in January 1996. He then showed the media a video recording of the scene of the blast and two photographs – one of a charred body and another of the journalist. Biu said he  “strongly suspects the management of ICNL of having connection with the Durbar Hotel bombing or else James Bagauda Kaltho .”

He later said Abacha’s Chief Security Officer, Major Hamza al-Mustapha, may have been responsible for Kaltho’s fate.  “I have never seen Kaltho in my life, either alive or dead and don’t know the whereabouts of Kaltho. Only the Chief Security Officer to the late Abacha, Maj. Hamza al-Mustapha, can explain what happened to Kaltho,” he said

When Biu appeared before the panel, he refused to be put on oath with the Holy Quran, because “he is not pure.” He denied all the allegations against him.

A retired Commissioner of Police Abubakar Tsav, who also appeared before the panel, debunked Biu’s claim. He said: “Everything he is saying is not true. I mean the evidence he gave in respect of Bagauda Kaltho. He said he got photographs from the wife of Bagauda Kaltho. He also said he got reports from the SSS through the Inspector-General of Police, which said the person who was killed in the bomb blast at the Durbar Hotel was Bagauda Kaltho. And he said that he never met Bagauda anywhere in his life. Then how could he come to that conclusion that the man killed was Bagauda Kaltho? He merely saw his pictures …He (Biu) should be in prison. As far as I’m concerned, he is a prisoner on parole.”

James Danbaba, a colleague of Biu,  said Kaltho was “summarily executed on the orders of the Inspector-General of Police, because  Kaltho was said to have seen  IGP Ibrahim  Coomasie suddenly collapse and was foaming in the mouth.”

Danbaba added: “ The journalist was ordered to be arrested and executed because of a disclosure that he (Coomasie) is suffering from epilepsy may jeopardise the I GP’s well preserved and seriously guarded position and ultimately lead to his untimely retirement from the police force.”

He added: “After the said journalist, Bagauda Kaltho’s summary execution, a bomb was attached to his corpse and detonated. I reliably learnt that this was directed at selling a story to the C-in-C that a NADECO journalist has died of a bomb explosion while attempting to plant a bomb, thereby finally covering their track of having killed Bagauda Kaltho and the reason for his murder.”

After the death of Abacha, his successor, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, deemed it fit to ‘dash’ Biu a national honour, a development which irked many of those who regarded him as a brute.

In his book, Trials and Triumphs: The Story of The News, Dr. wale Adebanwi, had harsh words for Biu. Adebanwi said: “Zakari Biu, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), the crude and sadistic officer in charge of the Presidential Task Force on Terrorism, was probably the best man for the operation designed as the “final solution” to the grave problem posed by the ICNL publications to the Abacha regime. Biu was an officer who represented the most grotesque face of the Nigerian Police. He saw the force as a repressive organ of an unaccountable power. And with the official bigotry that not only sustained him to the heights of the force, anything that looked like ethnocidal project excited him.”

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who was sent to jail by the Abacha regime, felt Biu was not fit for the force.
He was said to have asked then Inspector-General of Police Musiliu Smith if the controversial cop was still in the force, after meeting him at a function.
Not long after this, Biu was dismissed.

But, unknown to many, he was long back. Soyinka, in an interview in 2010, said he was aware Biu had been recalled. The Nobel laureate said: “Zakari Biu was dismissed from the Nigeria Police and has been recalled into the Nigeria Police Force, despite his crimes against humanity during Abacha’s dictatorial rule by torturing innocent citizens. He could be likened to Charles Taylor of Liberia. He is brute and has no concern for humanity. For his past history, he should not be trusted with any national responsibility as he is capable of causing terrorism, which could destroy the image of Nigeria.”

The Nation learnt that after Obasanjo’s exit from power, Biu petitioned the PSC. Mike Okiro was the IGP then. Biu said he was retired without getting a fair hearing. He argued that by law, only the commission could fire him. Osayande saw merit in his case and ordered his recall.

The then Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, said: “Biu is back in the Force as his name had never been removed from the Police register. Biu is now an instructor at the Police Academy in Wudil, Kano State.”

Ringim’s emergence as IGP paid off for Biu, as he was entrusted with curbing terrorism, which in the country is synonymous with an insurgent group, Boko Haram, whose root is deep in Borno, Biu’s home state.

Now he may have got his fingers burnt. Only a few are weeping with him.
So Head of State Abubakar even gave him National Honors?
So our IGP, Coomasie was an Epileptic patient? No wonder!!
So Soyinka predicted the man was a known terrorist far before now?
So he was dismissed and then re-instated by IGP Hafiz Ringim?
So, he was even promoted and made a substantive CP, just a month before his retirement age?

Anyone with a discerning brain should reap that "report" reproduced by Gbawe on comment 22 above and you will clearly see the "enemies of Nigerians" who dont want the Bill passed!

From Senate President, David Mark who keeps telling us that "there are 4 to 5versions in circulation"? Cant david Mark, at his age, come to the "childish conclusion" that if a "Committee" is given a job to draft a Bill, "the AUTHENTIC VERSION IS THAT ONE THAT IS SUBMITTED BY THE SAME COMMITTEE"? But he rather chose to be playing games to stall the passage!

Again, lookt at House Rules Senator, Ita Giwa (Enang), (the same Pros.ti.tute that Dele Giwa married who, instead of giving him children, collected money from her millitary boyfriends, to plant bomb on her estranged husband), telling us that because the bill was presented in the Sixth Session and the 4yrs of that house has lapsed, the Every Pending Bill is DEAD! That LovePeddler must be smoking ganja as well! What about continuity in govt?

So if i took those dofus in govt 4yrs to do a job that should not take more than six months, Madam Bakassi says we must start all over again, and who says the same thing will not repeat itself?

And the "third leg" of these trio of saboteurs ia the Minister for Petroleum, Yes, the same Allison Madueke!
Hear her: 'a new bill would be sent to the Senate to ensure that the right version gets to the lawmakers. She also asked for a ‘secret meeting’ with members of the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Upstream) on the controversial oil industry reform bill during a meeting with the Committee in Abuja"!.

You see, she wants to retain that part that gives her the absolute right to award and withdraw Oil Blocks to and from whomever she wishes (be it her brother, her children or her boyfriends) and that is why she keeps throwing spanners into the works of the committee.
Everything about that woman is criminal. Only Criminals prefer to run the nation in secrecy!

So, between David Mark, Ita Giwa-Enang and Allisson Madueke (Petroleum Minister, with the urging of her boyfriend is Aso Rock!), we have three saboteurs that are holding the country to ransom.

Until NIGERIANS LEARN HOW TO DEAL "CRITICALLY AND FATALLY" WITH THESE TYPE OF CRIMINALS, OUR NATION WILL CONTINUE TO BE A LAUGHING STOCK INTERNATIONALLY!

From my own experience, l will conclude that Parents absolutely do have a favorite child.

Like someone said, as good Parent has to "play it down" so as not to cause friction between siblings.

Favorite child is not always the "best child" in terms of brilliance, beauty, athleticism or any of the "positive points" we think about, it could just be that he/she "strikes a chord" in the parent's heart! shocked grin

For example, growing up, l was stubborn, daring and very adventurous, maybe thats what my Parents like about me but it sure got me into a lot of trouble. Me and my Mum are always at loggerheads even though we could not do without each other for a minute! kiss angry

She can go to any length for me and l would die for her but like Tom & Jerry, you need to see us argue every day!

Out of my children, my second son seems to be my favorite! (I will never admit it to his face or let his other siblings know this lipsrsealed ).

He is not the most handsome or most brilliant of my children but somehow, l just see myself in him!.

Every time l look at him, l see myself "at his age", just like replaying a film!
And when he does some naughty things, l will just smile and ruse to myself "if no be say l don see/do that thing before, l for show you Pepper"! grin grin

The thing is to try to "achieve a balance" that would not upset the other kids, the family as a whole  and would not be a "burden" on that favorite child him/herself.

OSHIOMHOLE’S METAMORPHORSIS

15/01/2012 11:56:00

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole…President, Nigeria Labour Congress
(as he then was) had this to say at various times about removal of subsidy on petrol and deregulation of the industry.

“Our leaders should go into the Guinness Book of Records for fighting poverty by increasing the price of fuel and stopping Christmas gifts."- Oshiomhole addressing the press, Presidential Villa, Abuja, 2001.

“We are saying to government, until your poverty eradication scheme works, until you can lay claim to some prosperity as a result of government economic policies, you have no moral basis to extort more money in the name of taxation or petroleum price increase from the people. If you do, you then heighten the level of poverty, which is already unbearable.” In an interview he granted Ima Niboro, then an editor with TELL magazine.

“The Nigerian people have made the point well enough in the past that as citizens of an oil-producing country, they must not be made to pay through the nose for fuel,” Oshiomhole, Newswatch, January 15, 2003.

"We refuse to accept that Nigerians should continue to make sacrifice, because those who push the policy have shielded themselves from sacrifice. The finance minister earns in dollars. By the time they finish dealing with us with this policy of deformation, Okonjo-Iweala will fly back to United States to stay with her husband and children."- Thisday, 1st November 2004.

"This struggle must now be deregulated. We must go beyond the issue of price to include all those problems associated the growing state of hopelessness and the growing level of destitution and above all, the political regime that has made dialogue completely impossible. Those issues will be articulated by the coalition and they would form the basket of our chatter of demands." (Vanguard, 1st November 2004)

“(Removing subsidy) does incalculable damage to the credibility of governance in the country, which is now associated with cynical exploitation of the machinery of dialogue and what is seen as public deception. -“ In an open letter to President Obasanjo, September 3, 2005.

Governor-Comrade Adams Oshiomhole…Now as Governor of Edo State

“I do not want my colleagues to be shocked by the views I am going to express. The truth is, besides petroleum price, which other price has remained what it was five years ago…should subsidy be removed? Yes!  But Nigerians must rise and insist that the proceeds must be judiciously utilized.“ – Vanguard, December 23, 2011.

“Don’t push the people to do what they are not capable to sustain. Allow the federal government to move forward in the direction it has chosen. If President Jonathan does not take the decision to do the right thing (deregulation) now, Nigeria will crash in no distant future.” –Businessday, December 23, 2011.

The foregoing are a few excerpts from thousands of fiery speeches made by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole when he was labour leader and now that he is “on the other side.” It has often been said that the true test of a man’s character is when you give him power.

The Peoples Verdict

“It was the same Oshiomhole who, as President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), led more than seven general strikes against the Obasanjo government’s attempt at deregulating fuel pricing and privatize the refineries. Is the Comrade Governor telling us that all he did during in his sojourn at the Labour House are mistakes?”- Osun State Labour Party, reacting to Oshiomhole’s volte-face at the town hall meeting on petroleum subsidy.

This is what former military president General Ibrahim Babangida had to say of Oshiomhole: ", It will also interest the electorate to know how (he) came about his stupendous riches, particularly as a Labour leader, to warrant his rather ostentatious life-style, much of which is done in pretence at the expense of the masses.

"Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Beyond the characteristic austere look of Oshiomhole lies his acquisitive demeanour to the extent that he owns choice houses in Kaduna, Abuja and Edo, yet portraying a pro-masses Labour leader on the one hand, while exploiting them on the other hand as an agent of the ruling elite.” IBB spoke through his spokesman, Kassim Afegbua, who ironically became a media aide to Oshiomhole before abruptly resigning his appointment.

CONCLUSION

A man who finds it convenient to change when his status changes wont see anything wrong with changing whenever the weather changes. Such men are as capricious as the wind.

We pray God to give us leaders who are driven by their conscience and not by selfish benefits; those who will not betray the people. Leaders we can trust; leaders who are as constant as the Northern Star.

Acting Head of Media and Publicity in the Commission, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, who disclosed the operation to our correspondent in Abuja, said  the EFCC would also visit other government agencies involved in the management of the nation’s oil and gas resources.

In a letter SIGNED BY THE MINISTER FOR PETROLEUM, ALLISON MADUEKE, bla bla bla,   ,    ,   ,
Thank you Kulutempa!
Even an illiterate small boy like me is smart enough to know that you dont "inform the thief you're coming to arrest him", before swooping on him!

In my own opinion, just by doing that and loosing the "element of surprise" EFCC has lost 75% of the battle
Nothing meaningful can come out of this exercise in futility.

And to think it was even the Minister overseeing the corruption, that is ordering the investigations! shocked shocked huh

But on the other hand, maybe this is exactly how the "script" should run,
like FELA would say "AUTHORITY STEALING"
grin grin

In Societies where people have a tiny amount of shame and self dignity, the Minister would offer to step aside so as not to impede the investigations (and come back when given a clean bill, even more proud and dignified!).

But who says these criminals have any modicum of shame, dignity or self-respect?
They are just crass, brute criminals of the lowliest human form!

^^^^^^I think you're guilty of that particular assertion you just made!

Ask yourself: Why does Govt want to remove subsidy?
Incase you dont know the answer, in simple Turainshi: Nigerians would PAY MORE for the same thing.

E.g: if subsidy was 70% and Govt reduces it by 50%, it means Nigerians [b[pay extra 50%, Govt saves extra 50%!

This implies that Govt makes a "SAVING", a saving of money that it would normally have expended to subsidize every liter of PMS

Previous Govts have always removed Subsidy (IBB did it, OBJ did it 7times in 8yrs or were you too young to experience when PMS was 70K/Liter?

Implication=> There was always a "SAVINGS" that was being financed by poor people.

IT IS THAT "PREVIOUS SAVINGS" THAT GEJ IS ALLEGED TO HAVE SQUANDERED, instead of using it to build infrastructures!!!

Now, Do you COMPREHEND?

Dont come here and run your mouth before thinking, even if you think it is "cool on Nairaland" to pass insults!

So this GEJ who assured Christians that "they are SAFE" in Madaballa and the next day, they all get slaughtered and he could not do a thing, has suddenly become brave, because he wants to fight "un-armed protesters"?

Now l know GEJ is a complete Coward, a Bully and a Brute!

Bullies take on weaker "opponents" and run away from their size!

Protesters are not carrying any weapon, all they do is SING AND DANCE to signify their disagreement!

So we cant disagree anymore under GEJ?

He has become another Mugabe? TOTALITARIAN AND AUTHORITARIAN!

But come, cant these Soldiers use their head? Zombie or not!

Lets reason together please:

*If you say the Soldiers should kill all protesters in Lagos because they are Yoruba, did it not occur to you that Igbos and Hausas are well represented in Lagos as well and just a few of them might be your family members?

*Is it only in Lagos that fuel price has been hiked? Will the people of Eastern and Northern Nigeria not benefit from what the "people of Lagos" are dying for? Do you insult their selfless sacrifice by uttering all these tribal bigotry, even when you yourself cannot lift a finger to change your "miserable state of affairs"?

*If Jonathan succeeds in using Soldiers to silence the people of Lagos, for protesting legitimately, who do you think WILL BE NEXT when the vocal and enlightened people of Lagos have been silenced? Your own Village would be next of-course! wink

*If instead of coming together to fight evil and oppression, you hide under your "cloak of vengeance and revenge" for what OBJ did in Oodi or for what Gowon/Awolowo did in Biafra or what Boko Haram did in the North, who then will support your own aspirations, when you begin to agitate for it or has it never occurred to you that NOT ONE SINGLE TRIBE can go it alone in the present Nigerian set-up? Not Oodua, Not Biafra and definitely not Arewa (The other two will simply gang-up and the third one is mince-meat; that explains part of what happened in Biafra, doesn't it?

*Because the "oppressor clique" knows how bigoted and foolish you all are, they play you against one another, knowing fully that once you unite and find your voice, they are finished!

For 51years, the story is always the same (in-fighting, ethnicity, tribal and religious bigotry) AND THE RESULT HAS ALWAYS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE SAME: MORE OPPRESSION from the "clique", MORE POVERTY FOR THE AVERAGE JOE BLOGGS!

Think, my people, THINK TWICE before you write that crap that is in your head.

But hey, did we not WARN EVERYONE at the begining of this PROTEST that they should not allow it to be about NLC/TUC but to borrow a leaf from the Arab Spring where the protest was centered around THE PEOPLE?

Did we not make reference to how Adams Oshiomole  (now Governor) and Reuben Abatti (Now Presidential Otimkpu!) sold us out during the OBJ fuel price hike and collected parcels of Land and bags of money in Abuja?

Did our people, as always, very gullible, LISTEN to our waillings? Who sigh?

NLC disagrees and says, Strike continues but street protest has been stopped to allow for negotiation
OutLaws, led by Seun, a social miscreant, the son of the AIDS killed, igbo smoking, fatally womanizing Fela vows to continue the protest against the decision of the NLC/TUC and other legally instituted bodies.
Seun Fela is a nobody and needs to be arrested and jailed to civil disobedience. May be he thinks any enlightened human being buys indian hemps records.
I dont smoke hemp, neither Cigars not take any alcohol as a 'personal choice" but l listen to "Fela Abami Eda Anikulapo Kuti" and his "preachings" have been inspiring, over the generations.

If there is any Nigerian, dead that is most quoted today, IT IS FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI!

Despite his randiness and Igbo-smoking, He gave us "Army Arrangement", He gave us "Suffering and Smilling", He gave us "International Thief-Thief" and so many "Prophetical Analysis" of current and future Social Events so much so that some are wondering whether he was a not a Prophet in Disguise!

I can bet anyone that not even the modern day MOG's have predicted future events in Nigeria, as accurately and succinctly as he did, more than 30yrs before the internet and "fake Miracles" gained ground!   JUST ARGUE THAT PLEASE?

Fela is not only revered in Nigeria but all over the world. Yes, Google him please.

He never benefited a penny from the looting spree that has become "leadership in Nigeria" not the complacent ignoramus that have become the hallmark of ill-educated Youths like yourself thus, l am not surprised that those that came from his lions (Seun, Femi, e.t.c) inherited the "Genes" to fight oppression and crass-corruption!
Like father, Like Son, is very apt in this case.

For you to have uttered those words in quote, on FELA shows a lot about YOU, your Age, your background and your Pedigree!
Maybe l am wrong, l like so many others who read this, need to be re-educated?

PLEASE TELL US HERE, as you have told us about Seun's father (FELA), WHO YOUR OWN FATHER IS/WAS.

Who knew him, what he stood for and his place in Nigerian nay, World History.
His laurels, both locally and internationally.

At least we know Fela's Mum was the first woman to drive a car in this country.
We know the Beko's, Femi, e.t.c of this world.
We know the Kuti family so much they dont need any introduction.

Let us know YOUR OWN FAMILY AND WHAT THEY STOOD FOR/ACHIEVED or forever use your mouth to scoop chicken-poo!

The thing that is [paining me is that , i know GEJ is a good person and means well for Naija. But he is scared of the cabals, he decided to ignore or not trust the 150 million Nigerians that would have supported him if he had gone after the so called cabals! Nigerians were hoping for a HERO! we really HOPED in him!
Like you, l am highly disappointed. l dont blame him, l blame myself, l travelled all the way back home and casted my vote for that nuisance, even campaigning to my friends to do likewise!
It was an "error of judgement" on my part! I accept.

But unfortunately, this would have been an opportunity to immortalize his name, of his own making, Alas, he i too small-minded and too cowardly to smell it!

Imagine, if the "Cabal faced him" and "150million Nigerians back him"? Who will blink first?

Poverty at an early stage in life is a bad thing, something to watch out for in future leaders of Nigeria wink wink
