Culture › Re: Why Do Nigerian Dudes Walk Around Holding Hands? by lastpage: 3:47pm On Jul 12, 2009
During Micheal Jackson's burial, one "experience" came flashing through my mind!

I recall two of my little, male cousins back then.
In the middle of the night, they would creep up to my room from theirs and tug me!

I'll snarl back at them for disturbing my sleep! "Ehhen, what do you want"?
In response, they chorus "Uncle, we want to sleep with you"!

I shuffle and shift (6x6ft bed) to one side and that was it. Everyone slept off!

They were no where to be found when l wake up!
Next time l see them, they remind me "Uncle, why do you snore"? Bloody little Rascals! angry

Two weeks ago, l smiled again and thought to myself: Geee, if it was in America, you will be serving a lifetime jail by now! shocked shocked shocked

Thank God for Niaja and our culture, l hope those bleeding ass-diggers dont come and dilute it with their "civilization"
!

Lets not loose what we have, for the sake of "copy-copy".

Lastpage:

BTW: At the University, l rub "bum and chest" with my best friend for four years, trying to squeeze and sleep together on 6x3ft bed!
Thank God he wasn't American or European! I would have been pregnant before second year! grin grin grin

I guess Nigerian women are just too beautiful and alluring for any "mentally balanced" Nigerian man to even think of being Gay, not to mention  that God forbids Sodomy! I mean, why would God create two gender if he wants us to be freaking Ass-diggers?  embarassed embarassed

Forgive me, my mistake grin

Now, worst book l've read?
Hmmm, can't remember, , l must have dropped it so fast, before even opening the first page!

I have a knack for knowing boring books, from their covers!
Just like l can tell a bad Record (the ones with excessive cover design!) from its cover grin

Seems all the effort went into the cover's design and not the song itself shocked shocked

Thank you for drawing my attention to it.

Nex, l weak o!
I understand that the "average annual salary" in U.K is just about 25,000GBP!
, or Do "U.K. prisoners" go on summer Holidays to Hawaai?

I guess very soon, some Nigerian will request for "application form" to become "U.K. Prisoner"   @36K pounds/year! shocked

Or do U.K folks embezzle part of that money?
Knowing where our politicians get their hints from and the recent "M.P.'s scandal" is a pointer to the fact corruption is not a Nigerian phenomenon! grin

Let them build more prisons for their "thieving M.P.'s" first, before shipping any criminal to Nigeria tongue tongue tongue

WOW!!! This is so touching. R.I.P to your mother. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
Thank you Chiogo. As long as l live, her story will never leave my mouth!
I want her to be an inspiration to other women, so that they may appreciate that "nothing else is a better investment, than the children we bear"!
@Sukkie
Believe me sincerely, I had to call my mum and tell her how much I appreciate all she has done.
Thank you for doing that, do it more often and please "spoil her with gifts", toast her and remind her of her sacrifices for you, now that you still have the opportunity!

I never cried the day my Mum died, as painful as it was then (l cry in fond memory of her now sha),
l thank God for the little time and opportunity HE gave me, to be able to show her how much l love and cherish her, otherwise, my pain will have known no-end.
So when l see people who dont appreciate their Mums, l shake my head in dis-belief!
When she's gone, thats when they will hear "ween" grin

If l tell you the story of my "school cert fees", just #22!! (twenty-two Naira!) and what my Mum did?,
okay, l'll keep that for another day.
Let God take all the glory, ,

Lots of love,

@Sauron
The Brits are saving money for themselves not for Nigeria.

It costs more than 36,000 pounds to keep a lag in Prison per annum.
Multiply that by the thousands of Nigerians in UK Prisons plus the fact that many of them are overstaying because they refused to go back to Naija.
If they build a prison in Naija, the cost of keeping Nigerians in UK prisons would be non-existent. Do u understand their theory now?
Now you can see where some of these "commentators" are coming from?
Either you're not a Nigerian, in which case You're an impostor or

Its a classic case of the "bastard child that points its father's house with his left hand" (Nigerian Proverb)

Either way, it sucks!

"A great Civilization (Nigerian people) is never conquered from outside except it first destroys itself from within"!
We need to weed out some subversive elements amongst us. The Brits call them TRAITORS!

Just like the Brits are afraid of a resurgent Russia, they are afraid of a corruption-free Nigeria!, and will do anything to stop it.

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/blog/talking_politics/article/47556/

That has been their tactics from day one, "divide and rule", using some "sell-out"/traitors amongst us.

On the other hand, its time we Nigerians realize that we are fighting not just against our corrupt leaders, we also need to fight against their foreign backers, those who benefit form their corruption after-all, where do they keep the stolen/looted treasury if not in British banks, to develop British economy!

"Sauron" even said that the 5million naira required in Visa applicant's account was necessary just to ensure the applicant can cater for themselves in Britain, fair enough.
But if Britain is so interested in applicants bank-balance, to issue Visa, they are also morally obligated to ensure that such money (as displayed by our looting politicians), are not proceeds of crime (like looted treasury, failed contract, e.t.c)! Where have they done this? No where.

As far as they are concerned, its just a question of "Show me the Money"!

Shows what a selfish and self-centered state we are discussing here!

If they join us in ensuring that the thieves among our rulers loose their stolen funds and their family are not provided a safe haven, for the day nemesis would catch-up with them, then, and only then can they "preach to us", after-all, Kettle can not accuse the Pot of being Black!

@osisi
Great touching stories.
To whom much is given, much is required.
Make sure to help others in need when you get the opportunity.
Last page your story touched me.
I pray my son will talk so lovingly of me the way you talk of your sweet mom.
She indeed brought up a loving son who understands the virtue of hardwork.
Pardon me, but l will say it depends on what you "invest" in that child, and You ain't hear nothing yet!

For example, why many of her contemporaries where busy hoping-off to parties and buying "Aso-ebi", my Mum restrained herself, so she could meet-up with the expenses of "child-training."

Buying a brand new car (by a 'honest' pry school Teacher) was like a dream, some decades ago.
After many years of musing over it, then selecting the Toyota Corolla from RT Briscoe, black color , taking three months driving lesson, my Mum finally got her "Car loan" approval in 1985 and the cash was paid into her account.
The next day, the Unilag admission letter for our first-born, the eldest, male child (crown prince, as we would say!) came-in!!
What will you do, with a choice between buying the long -sort after car or using the money to pay for your son's admission tuition, Books, "Matric-Suit", e.t.c?
Of course, money was just #3,000 and CAN'T satisfy both!

That is one of the days l would remember for life
.
Till her death, Mum never bought a car! She diverted the whole money to my brothers education!!
'Bros' bought all the books he would use from year one to final year before even starting the first lecture!

How many Mums can make such sacrifice for a child? Would "you" do that?
That is an example of where MY MUM IS NOT ONLY DIFFERENT, BUT SHE'S SPECIAL!, BEST AMONG EQUALS.!!

Its sad she's slept in the Lord now, otherwise, anyway sha,
You know what, years later when l bought my first car, it was a shiny black "American spec", V-Boot.
I took it home and called her out to see a gift l bought for her (she was a bit old and too weak to drive).
She was railing about "who is the person that used 'this black car' to block our entrance! grin). I told her "that car" is the gift am talking about and "it is you" who blocked your entrance so, no raking! shocked

Like the good Mum she is, she was dancing and hoping towards the car and in the same breath asking me: Where did you get the money to buy such a car? She would not enter the car until l showed her documents that proved that the "sale of my FBN shares and a large draw-down of savings account" paid for it.

Now, it was late, around 9pm. So l asked her to enter and sit in "owner's corner" while l drove her around the neighborhood. I reminded her that "that car" you sacrificed and invested in my senior brother's education, has come back to you, today, "sleeker and better" kiss grin
I imagined she had a good night sleep, that day!

You people are making me cry now a l am writing, but not sorrowful tears, l just miss her soo much,
She was 70yrs when she passed-on.
There are still some other things about her that if you hear it, you would know, , and agree when l say "She is the BEST, even among the best of Mothers"

I tell friends, if all Mums where like mine, there wouldn't be touts and armed robbers around.
He Motto was: Education! Education!! Education!!!

You need to know how many Masters degrees, (including an MBA), I.T Certifications, and professional "chartered-ship" grin l have today, to realize that "l drank" too much from my Mums cup!

Maybe one day, l would write a book, in her Memory, for other younger Mums to just "peep" into!

The only person, as far as l know, that did a better sacrifice and paid a bigger price than her,
was Jesus Christ, in that HE laid down his life, for another ,
am sure, if it came to that, Mum would have said "take me", in his place!

Adieu, Mummy!Even in death, Blessed are you among women.

Lastpage

BTW: last word: for all Nigerian women on Nairaland, "what kind of Mum are you, or will you be"? We reap, what we sow o! Nuff-said.

Can anyone please assist with my question, (no guesswork pls)

Can one "delay" or "extend" one's VISA, for genuine and legitimate reasons?

Let me clarify:
If l won a VISA-Appeal process with AIT (after one year processing!) and l am told to go to the local embassy to get my passport stamped, for say a six months VISA. Right now, l am hospitalized due to a recent 'Okada accident' and in no way to travel in the next six months (broken leg!).

Can l tell the embassy that
(a) l want the VISA to be effective from say January 2010 (instead of next week) to June 2010, when l feel l will be in good health and able to travel?
(b)Would Hospital Bills and the visible POP marks on my leg be enough "proof' for them?

What are my options in this scenario, from the embassy's point of view?

Thanks.

Having read four pages of response, a few things are obvious:
There are the "faceless" Non-Nigerians who take this as an opportunity to "bash" and "ridicule" Nigerians but still need a "topic" like this to hide under, to do their shameful madness.

Then there are those category that have lived abroad an acquired "foreign citizenship" an feel that those other group of Nigerians are a threat to their acceptance, in their new homeland. This group is very bitter and you can see if from what they write. they are the ones that say "your Nigerian govt" one minute and the next minute they are like "they are illegals, in the first place"

Then there are those who are skeptical and rightly so, that this is a Greek Gift, Britain or any Western country is never know for doing father Christmas to any African nation!

And there are those who look at the moral fiber  of this story and ask, "since you're the one that tried and convicted them", a process which the Nigerian govt is not a part of, then it is your duty to "House them" for the sentence you imposed! I salute your reasoning!1

One or two people have observed and l salute these ones too, that "Crime and criminality does not occur in isolation.

There is a push-pull relationship between criminal politicians that impoverish their country by stealing the "common-wealth/purse" and keeping it safely in British banks, with the knowledge and connivance of the same British government., AND those Nigerians who, having been denied proper education and social stability in Nigeria (like the British will give their own kids), have now turn to criminality, not necessarily as an excuse, but as an alternative, and their first stop is the same Britain that is housing their stolen patrimony!  What an irony?!

I say, Britain, if truly she can be trusted, must enforce laws and jail first, those "political leaders" that buy Mansions in Britain and use our oil wealth to fund British economy. Repatriate those funds first, put those criminals (and you have given most of them citizenship on the basis of how much they have stolen and stashed in Britain!) on trial and jail tem in your worst prison,

, Then re-present your offer to build Prisons in Nigeria. We aint fools, even if you colonized us tongue

My Best has  to be "Leon Uris: EXODUS". 1987.
I read a lot of James Hadley Chase in my time: Miss 'something' wave a wand, The Dead stay Dumb, Can of Worms, Sucker Punch, Believe this, Believe Anything, (read all the Hadley Chase series in secondary school). l guess "Chase" taught me most of the bad things l knew in life, growing-up grin

Others are the "Robert Ludlum" Series:Omertta, Mataresce Circle, Vulture is a Patient Bird, e.t.c
Then there are the Wilbur Smiths, The Tom Clancys, an a host of others.
Does anyone still know the author of these two enigmatic Books: "Spanish Inquisition" and "Blood Brothers"? I want them for keeps but cant remember the authors, or how l ca get them? help pls.

Then there are the "small volume" ones like the "Richest Man in Babylon, The Prince (Machiavelli), Rich Dad, Poor Dad; Cash flow quadrant, e.t.c

Did a little bit of "Mills & Boon" but l prefer to "act out" the romance instead of reading about it  grin

Back then, l read so veraciously, my mum noticed and buys me Novels as birthday gifts!

For school proper (exam purposes), read: Weep not child, Gullivers Travels, Alan Quatermain, Treasure Island, Oliver Twist, Things Fall apart, Our husband has gone mad, Lorna Dunne, Alawiye, Efunsetan-Aniwura (Iyalode Ibadan  grin), Ogboju-ode ninu Igbo Irunmole (that one gives me nightmares!), e.t.c

Realized that no one mentioned my pry school favorite (Alli and the Angel), not much of a Novel actually, was a school reading textbook.

Me na Conductor o!

U people make me cry, why? My dearest Mum is gone to "sleep" now.

Mum was Teacher but at times, Govt will not pay salary for three months!
Mum sowed 'pants' with pieces of clothes and l hawked them in Yaba area of Lagos, to assist.
I did so many things, you would wonder if you see me today!

I was a Bus Conductor at a time (probably the first bus conductor to wear neat pants, ironed shirts, white Tennis shoes and calls "Yaba-Yaba" with an "ajee-butter"accent!). My bus driver insults me a lot for the way l announce the "Yabaa-yabaa-yabaa, or Ikejaa, Ikejaaa"!
Imagine a Bus conductor from Yaba to Ikeja, who has not even been to Ikeja before?

I muddled the bus-stops together (Bus could be going towards Ikeja and l would be calling the bus stops as if it was going to Yaba!  grin
Years later, l realized why the Bus driver did not drop me: he lived near my area and said he was shocked to see me "Conductor-ing"  grin
About twenty years later, grown-up and working in a bank (then), l gave him ten grand for that act of kindness, because we really needed the money back then.

I also sold "Guguru" from one company (NIDOCO) located at Sabo, close to Queens college, back then.
But the one l love most was when l worked  at the Lagos state secretariat, building those shops behind the secretariat. This one was done after school cert and myself and like 10 friends just wanted to prove we could earn money for ourselves.
We used the money to buy some Micheal Jackson leather jackets and trousers. My black "High-Waist" trouser was a knockout!

Did anyone work as a floor sweeper at BAGGO Super sacks before? "Yomi" was my Line-Manager, nice, dark young chap.
Do you know a Supervisor called "Jacob"? Nasty, burly guy like this, showed me pepper!
Paid him back in his own coin when l bought a V-boot when that car was "the in-thing" and took it there to "show-off" to the guy  grin who was still a Supervisor, as  l left him!
May God forgive me for that, would never do a thing like that again.

I dont blame my Mum for allowing me do those things, they made me "value the difference" between "have and have-nots" and when l see "struggling people" today, l appreciate what they're going through.
I guess my own children would miss such "wonderful experience", what a pity wink

Christianity Etc › Re: I Have Never Fallen Under The Anointing- Why? by lastpage: 2:04am On Jul 09, 2009
You people in here are crazee! grin I will sue somebody for making me laugh like l never did in ten years!

Anyway, since l am not the only one, l feel bold to make a confession.
Year one at the University, the lady's name is Bimpe S (would not say her surname, married right now shocked)
She's just soo beautiful and wait till she opens her mouth, its like an Angel is speaking.
She's tender and her smile could melt the hardest heart.
Long and short of it, l was madly in-love with this babe. We were like "5 & 6" together, if l miss the 'heading', she will do the 'clearing' on my behalf!. Everywhere l go, she goes and vice versa.

But maybe l am not a strong christian like her, she worships with "Catholic Charismatic" on campus, and they have this "Intersession Prayer nights" where they pray from around 11pm till 5am.
Due to my feelings for her (l dont really fancy praying the whole night, l think we should give God a breather too) and to show her that this love is true and wonderful, l obliged to follow her to the prayers sessions, afterall, prayer is good, especially for students grin .

Now, dont you think l am not a good christian myself, only that 'Bimpe' really lives the christian life.
To cut long story short, around 2am, prayer was in full swing and leader began speaking in tongues.
Before long, everyone followed (about 20 students in all, at the Unilag sports ground), but my mouth was just dry like that of a dumb person.

I was embarrassed to see my Bimpe "delivering messages" while me, fine boy, was just there, unable to match-up!

Following week, we went again and my tongue was still "tied"! I have prayed in my room all week that God should allow me too to speak in tongues, l honestly wanted to, but l just couldn't manage it.
When prayer leader noticed that l was the only one who couldn't "perform", he came and 'laid hands' on me and we prayed together but after another round of one hour prayer, still no show!
The prayer leader then said l was "resisting" and advised that l should open and move my mouth. You know, like when you want to start a car with bad batteries, you roll it a bit and clutch-down furiously,

Again we went into prayers and when everybody began to speak, l too joined and intentionally moved my mouth since it refuses to move by itself.
I mumbled one or two "sheke-mara-kaka-bobo" (that seems to be the most common sound from everybody) but deep inside me, something said "will you shut-up and stop pretending"! shocked shocked
I quickly obeyed since l fear God too much.
Prayer leader realized l said something and he smiled at me, encouraging me to go full blast but fear of deceiving God (myself actually) no gree me!

Prayer leader tried to assist me to get into the groove, he laid hands again, others began to fall and speak but me, neither "falling nor speaking", was anyway near me.
He pushed me, hit my head and pried my mouth open (l will bite this guy o!) with his fingers, still no show!
I became so conscious of my environment that disappointment made me burst into tears!

Nextday, Bimpe raised the issue with me after lectures. I was embarrassed, felt inadequate and just couldn't understand how others did it so easily (even the obviously more "badder boys" than me) but l couldn't.

Bimpe is sooo spiritual, one of the reasons l fell for her but its become obvious that such a wonderful "sister" deserves a strong "tongue-speaking and anointing-falling brother", not some dumb-bloke thats always standing like an Iroko tree during prayers!
After first year, Bimpe proceeded to Medical School at LUTH while l remained on main Campus at Akoka for 2nd year.

Eventually, dis "no speaking" and "no-falling" disadvantage, assisted by our separation, made one "Speaker brother" to overthrow the non-speaking brother (you know, its like he's not "spirit-filled" or something like that!) and steal my Bimpe's heart. Very cruel Speaker!!

Till today, l still cant "fall" and l still cant "speak in tongues"!
How so many people are able to do it and l cant even do it once, not even when l try to "act it out", goes beyond me?

I love God (and Baba knows) and l try my best to be a good guy, but after uncountable festivals and Vigils, l still dey look like Monkey while everyone around me goes about it like its just natural!
Whats wrong with me, and the rest of you that are not falling under anointing? huh cry

I take consolation sha, its not only me wink

BTW: This confession is long overdue! First time.
if l want to, l can "recite" what they say, (l have heard it over and over again) but l cant bring myself to pretend that l am really doing it.
Feel like God is going to give me a "hammer blow" from behind if l try to pretend grin

First, if you drive long distance, and in traffic snarls, you will eventually start having pains on the sole of your foot, especially the foot that presses the accelerator, and God help you if the car is "manual"!
Use a "flat-soled" slip-ons like the "Drivers" (a kind of flat, rubber-soled shoe).

The other day, l drove with a bathroom sleepers to the office and ended-up with that slippers on my feet, with a three-piece bankers Suit, right there in the office!
Colleagues taught l had "flipped" finally, only one nice female friend took the courage to call me aside, after about 30mins, to ask: "which ones now, dis one na new style or wetin"? shocked shocked

Of-course, "omo-eko" like me, l 'twisted' that l 'injured my big toe' in a football match and could not don a shoe! embarassed grin
I tipped-toed for a few minutes before diving for the car park to change to normal office shoes.
One of my pals asked me whether the toe has healed so quickly?
I screwed my face up, gave him a glaring "witch" look , and said l will manage! tongue

Got more info for you:

What is the cost of living? High; 3-Bed House: 800-1,000+Euros rent, depending on location.
Food, shopping: depends on family size and whether you eat out mostly. Average = 120 Euros/weekly
utility bills: Phone (line & Calls) = 55Euros/bi-monthly (Eircom line only), (calls: mobile & landline depends on your usage)
Gas/Electricity:150- 200Euros/Bi-monthly; (average)depends on whether you want to have hot water 24/7!
How easy is to find work: Not easy right now (due to lay-offs but that is everywhere) but it also depends on whether what you do is in hot demand and "exclusive".
Is registering with the GNIB as straightforward as it appears?: As a citizen, its "express". No hassles
How expensive is childcare?: Very expensive. 150Euros minimum/weekly
Is education still fairly decent there?: fairly decent but some think the "cockney"accent is "UnBritish"! But as an Irish, that shouldn't bother you
How accepting are people of mixed race couples?: Like in most places, the recession has made 'scape-goats" of "those who don look like us" (if you know what l mean? Be prepared for some "shocks" but hopefully with time, things will improve.
If living in Dublin is it necessary to have a car or will public transport suffice? Dublin central is well serviced with public transport. U might not need a car if you dont care too much about privacy. Central Dublin is very crowded and word has it that its not a good place to raise a family (crime & bad influences). Dublin suburbs are better but Public transport fizzles as you move away from City-center
How easy will it be to open a bank account?
Mind you please, all the above are "average opinions" and are true only to the extent of my source's knowledge. (BBW)
Hope these helps further.

Now, some old lady won the equivalent of about #2.4 Billion naira (about 10,million Pounds!) from the Lottery, not too long ago.
Now, she is rich beyond comprehension (for an "about to depart"!  grin)

Going by your definition (or Poem!) of poverty, do you think that lady is rich because of HARDWORK?

One very poor man has just one child from his only darling of a wife; Abiola has huh? (how many wives and children sef?)
but he died (was murdered!) a Multi-Billionaire, even some of his children will die Multi-Millionaire (he did some fixed, million-naira deposit for them at birth!)

Now, between the single-child, single-wife man and M.K.O. Abiola, if "number of wives and children" is an indicator for poverty, who is supposed to be poorer?  grin

Now, l think l know why "you went home and nearly lost that your coconut head"!,
Your co-villagers tell me you were saying too much "RUBBISH"!  shocked grin (lol)

Have you heard of "being at the right place at the right time" before?
Some call it Luck, some say its Destiny, others in my "church" call it MIRACLE!
Somebody shout Haaalelooooooooo,  huh

There is a word call "OPPORTUNITY", it knocks on doors but not everyone's door!
It can be inherited,, if your parents are "sharp",, nothing to do with your hardwork!
It can differentiate between poverty and Riches.

How you "manage it" afterwards, is another kettle of fish
!

Hardwork is good but it is not enough neither is it a "pre-requisite"
.
Had that not been the case, the "Alabarus" (load carriers) and peasant farmers, should have been the richest but are they?

Now that you're the "first graduate" in your village, may you not be the last.
May you assist other younger ones to follow in your footstep.

Finally, learn to WORK SMART, EVEN IF YOU INSIST ON WORKING HARD!

cheers,
Lastpage.

@Poster,
Be careful, very very careful. Think about your personal safety first.
As a J.J.C, what protections do you have if (God forbid) something untoward happened to you in the middle of the night in one of these Hotels?

I've heard of cases of "visitors" being mugged just to get their "Dollars an Visa-Passport".

Just think about it, anything can happen in lagos and the less people that know about your itenary and the fact that you "just arrived", the better for your safety!
, and arranging #3000 Hotel on Internet is not one of them!

Worst case, collect names and locations of this Hotels without giving much away, especially "who you are and when you will arrive".

A word they say is enough for the wise.

BTW: Am not trying to scare you, l am just concerned for your safety.

Access the Nigerian Embassy website in Yankee.
There is a department that does it for Nigerians there.
You pay a fee to the embassy, for it.
They take your finger-prints and documents and send it to Naija using Courier or diplomatic channels and return it back to you here in Yankee.

Moreover, foreign immigration agencies are "refusing" the "proxy-types" due to
(a) too much forgery
(b) Its now being done locally, from a trusted and "locatable" source! (your local embassy!)

think about it, what if after all the expenses and wahala, the document gets rejected where you need it (now, they ask you to take it to your embassy for "authentication and stamping"wink?
You're back to square-one! huh
A word is enough for *************************** !

Cheers.

@dnex
Truth is though, at the end of the day, poor people should leave Lagos: beggars, okada riders, cart pushers, hawkers, roadside sellers, touts, molue drivers, prostitutes and roadside mechanics.
Haaba, wetin sef?
Wetin be your beef with poor people sef?
Is it poor people that ruined this country or the rich ones (after embezzling our treasury)?
Is it poor people that swear and do all those Okija, Ijebu-ode, Cliford Orji, "Baba sleep with son's wife" stunts we read about in the papers?
Is it poor people that evade tax in Lagos?
Is it poor people that slap Policemen on the road?
Is poor people that blow siren and run other poor people off the road?
Is it poor people that do all those owambe party(s), spraying naira (and Dolapo) notes like its tissue paper?

When your car breaks down in the rain at Apogbon, who do you call to push it: Poor People
When you buy a truckload of groceries at the market and you need carriage to your car, Hey, poor people oooo
When you have a flat tire and you need o do a change who does the sweating?: Poor people
Who sells you that fine Beans that you call "Ewa-Agoin"? , Poor people
You need to clear your drain and clean windows, You begin halla to poor people!
When you need to cause Mayhem after loosing an election, who do you recruit? , Poor people
When you want to build your fine houses at Lekki and you need laborers, which people will answer your call?, Poor people
Is it poor people that, look, mind ya self O!

Can all the poor people in the house supply all other things we do for this "ingrates" of a rich people?

Infact, lets go on a strike and lets see how the Rich people will survive without us grin

Lagos is nothing, l repeat, "NUFHIN" without its poor people!, and we ain't going no-where! tongue

, and remember, the day you decide to set your house on fire and Firebrigade comes with empty truck!,
its we poor people that will be running around to save your neck and properties, with a miserable buckets of water, shouting:
"Aaaahhh,, fire-fire, omi daa? Wataaahh,, Eeeeeh, dis fine house must not burn finish! cry cry cry

Fashola, oya, drive us out and lets see who will vote for you! (abi u tink say it is "reesh" people that stand in the rain/sun on election day?)
I dey come, all poor people, come make we start we meeting, abegi o!!
Even sef, "Poor Peoples Party" (P.P.P.) go win Fashola in 2011 elections shocked tongue
, and we will relocate and confine "him" and other "reesh" people to "reserved GRA's" like Makoko, Bariga, Iwaya, Ijora, e.t.c!

Looking at his kiddy & teenage pics, l can say with all confidence that: BLACK IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL.

So, from around "Thriller" upwards, to when he got really-really "BAAD", thats when the nose started falling off? right??

Okay, the rumor has always been around that the guy no fit "nackson" (one of the reasons Marria Presley left him) and it was one of his white confidants that donated the sperm for those children.
Now, he's gonna embarrass us all because the biological father of those children will soon show face (DNA) to collect his "share" of windfall!
Adoption would have been better.

Anyway, either way, he was THE GREATEST, just behind Muhammad Alli! (u cant touch what you cant see, am floating like a butterfly!)

u know what, lets "revamp" his dressing style as a mark of honor to him, , and as a reverence to a truly "classy era" of style.
I am commissioning this pics with my Tailor grin (my "Designer", make the guy no hear me call am "tailor", )
what do you think?

my 10cents.
