Wife slits the throat of her husband for an undisclosed disagreement undecided...

Even if she caught her husband on another woman in their matrimonial bed, I don't think he deserve to die in such manner. I can imagine the he went through in the pool of his blood while struggling with his life embarassed

Some women are just devilish.

Its not just "some women sha", ...the rate at which Women are killing their Husbands/boyfriends nowadays, is alarming.
Thank God that deceptive "Women's Bill" was not passed into Law, otherwise they would have been further emboldened.

"AGE" has NOTHING to do with INTELLIGENCE, being a YAM-EATER or being PATRIOTIC!

You can see that while one embezzled the funds of hos country like Ex-President Jonathan and now runs to the IMF to mortgage the future of his country.......

......while the other 73 yr old Buhari has resisted all pressures from "profit-takers" to devalue his country's currency while laying a solid foundation for a re-emergence of the economy of his country.
Nigeria has thread this IMF-Loan path before, under the Evil genius, Head of State badamosi Babangida... and we al know where it lead us!

Baba, may God give our govt a good vision to do what's right. Coastal road is the next big thing. It will cut you off the Sagamu/Ore/Benin expressway from Ilaje Ondo state.
I've been privileged to get to the very end of the road on the Lagos side. You'll only take 80 minutes ride on motorbike to Ilaje, Ondo state.

Bros, with the coastal road, Lekki/Epe expressway will be highly decongested and property value will shoot up as coastal properties attracts higher returns.

But in the meantime, if I'm doing Benin-Lagos, I'll still dey manage the Ijebu Mushin-Itele-Epe-Ajah road pending when new roads are built or new discoveries made. I won't be surprised if you find out there's a road like that already in existence but abandoned. I've seen so many roads like that.

But why do you wish to cut off Epe, you don't like seafoods?
There are TWO problems with Coastal roads.

1.) Cost: Compared to roads in hiterlands, most of which are on solid soil, coastal roads tend to involve a lot of costs, to make it plyable and last long. If you fcator the Nigerian penchant for shoddy work into it, you can be sure that every Govt wants the shoddy road it does, to last longer than it could (Election things! wink )
Some of the Coastal roads will cost twice, per Kilometer, for same stretch on solid ground. After corruption has eaten its fair share of the allotted funds, what is left is barely enough to construct a Mainland road.... talk less of Coastal road

2.) Climatic instability: Coastal roads are also more susceptible to the vagaries of climatic change! Today the road is there and next tomorrow, the road is swept into the Atlantic! I recall that some years back, l used to go to Alpha Beach to relax and would drive all along the stretch of Coastal road (untared at that point) for tens of kilometers. today, its as if a road never passed that area! Even the "Coastal Houses" have been swallowed by Mammy-Water!
With more dire predictions concerning the weather in the years to come, except we give the contract to reputable construction companies, as l have seen done in some foreign countries and ensure that those who are charged with project supervision/consultancy/inspection e.t.c, do their work as specified, l can bet you that the Atlantic ocean shows no mercy when it comes to swallowing things up, roads inclusive.

Nothing beats driving on a coastal road, with the windows down and the breeze just caressing your face!

On the balance of probabilities, l think the Govt will likely make a decision on Cost Vs. benefit Vs. Durability/manageability/Sustainability.
But we all know most Political office holders these days are plebs, so your guess is as good as mine!

JusticeABC:
By Azuka Onwuka

But he seems to be cutting ties with some key Lagos messages that will help him achieve better results in the long run by reshaping how people view Lagos. For example, when was the last time you heard “Eko o ni baje!” (Lagos will not spoil)? It seems to have gone with Ambode’s predecessor, Mr Babatunde Fashola. This was an expression that was on the lips of most Lagosians for many years. Why was it jettisoned by Ambode? Maybe, because he wants to create his own slogan. This reminds us of the American expression: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

That same fate has also befallen the Spirit of Lagos campaign. The first time I saw the campaign of the Spirit of Lagos, I fell in love with it. It was a campaign that sought to change the orientation of Lagosians by making them take ownership of their environment, by doing the right thing, by believing that Lagosians are not bad people, by allowing their conscience to talk to them when they want to drop trash on the road or cross the expressway or beat the traffic light. These are simple issues that most of us don’t even pay attention to. But they have a serious effect on the state.
Look, the only reason you seldom hear the phrase "Eko o'ni baje" any more is because in REALITY, under Ambode, a lot of things done dey b'aje for Lagos!

Lagosians just dont shout slogans, if they are not seeing and feeling the impact! Lagosians are likely the smartest peeps in Nigeria.

All Ambode does is erect big signboards of himself all over the place, "promising" to start repair work on a Road, he will dig up the road and then abandon it, causing even more hardship to the road users (Go and Check Borno Way in Ebute Metta ...... l dorve past the place in January and then a week ago.)

Insecurity is a huge problem in Lagos, you'll likely get robbed once its after 7pm!
Area Boys and Omo-Oni'le are harassing people up and down, at every Junction you drive past!
Some of these Criminals will even tell you that The "Government has given them the green-light for their activities" and the Police gives them cover!
Even worse are the criminals occupying LGA seats as chairmen/persons!
Go and look at all street roads (which falls under their purview)..... its so bad you will think a Tsunami passed by because they just share the LGA allocation and the Governor smiles at them (I know some of these LGA chairs complain quietly about how the Governor and his tin-god at Bourdillon force them to part with a large chunk of their allocation while they loot the rest). undecided

EFCC and other Security agencies must save us from the grip of these Thugs installed as LGA chairs.
We want credible people to hold those posts as it is the grass-root and closest arm of Government to the people...... but with the "annointing policy" of APC, how will that happen?

Eko is gradually 'baje-in, if Ambode would not get down to real work ....and stop his frequent night-clubbing activities! undecided
I hope he is aware that the Public Water Works have been off for almost five days now, and this wont be the first time under his leadership!
It was not this frequent under Fashola.

Anyway, l blame Tinubu for foisting "omo-baba" on APC.... since PDP is a no-go area in Lagos! grin

socialmediaman:
I have a few comments to make regarding this announcement by the Kwara state government:

1. When the EFCC saw these lodgements into Saraki's account, did they make enquiries with the state Revenue Board to seek clarification before using this as evidence?

2. I believe the State government has erred in making a public statement on a delicate matter like this in court, they should rather enter the witness stand (or wait to be invited) either on request of defendant or prosecution to clarify these payments one after another as alleged by EFCC. This kind of public statement can sway the mind of the public or the judge especially when the statement is not supported by hard copy proof.

3. It's interesting to note how much a retired state governor earns as monthly pension, especially in a state like Kwara which is not considered currently as one of richest states in Nigeria. The other question is, was this pension increase also reviewed for other State government workers, or was it just reviewed for political pensioners like Saraki?
God bless you for this comment!

said Saraki’s last salary was N291,474.00 for the month of May 2011.

He said that since May 2011 when he left office as governor, Saraki had only been receiving pension – not salary.

“From June 2011, former Governor Saraki started receiving his pension, which was N578,188.00 as other past governors in the country,” Gold said in a statement.
How on earth could the Pension rise so much, to eclipse the substantive salary? Thats almost a 100% increase!
Is that how the Pension of other ex-workers of the state have risen?..... not to mention a state that cant pay Minimum Wage!

Saraki has been trying EVERYTHING under the Sun, to wriggle out, now it is his minion governor coming to his defence!

Finally, I'm beginning to see my chateau decision falling in right places.

You will not believe that I only need to drive for 90 mins from my Chateau to Ajah Lagos using the Epe road. The only reason it'll take that long is because of the bad and very lonely road. When I was picking the place, I already envisage that one government will definitely see the need to bridge the link between neighbouring cities and decongest Lagos central for proper megacity plan but many people don't see it. I was expecting the preset government in Ogun state to have align with the same vision but I think he too is doing well cos the final link road to My Chateau-Agbowa-Itokin-Epe-Ajah expressway has been approved for expansion into a 4 lane road even though they've not done it but the project board has been installed.

Now, with the ongoing 10 lane road and the whole lot of activities happening on that corridor especially on Itokin-Agbowa-Ikorodu road, I guess it's time to go back home. Cos I can easily drive 20 mins to Agbowa /Imota and fly a boat to anywhere in Lekki or drive maximum 60 mins from Sagamu to Ajah.

Good bless good vision. Time to invest in the future for the great great great grandkids!!
Again, you are showing your "Ijebu-gene"! grin grin
Always "smelling Money from far-off"! kiss kiss

l will invest in a ferry service (as in standard types, not the Canoe wanna-be ferry service without all the works) that will make driving unattractive for car owners who live in Ikorodu area and work in Ajah/Lekki/V.I axis.... or at least can take them long with their cars.

I know a lot of people cant swim, (at least not in the Atlantic! ) and so, are scared of boarding a ferry (remember that Senatorial candidate who lost his life crossing the waters in Ikorodu, during the 2015 elections?) ... but when they see a standard ferry service that guarantees "minimum protection", l am sure they would opt for it, than driving all around through Ikorodu-Ketu-Mile12- Ojota-3rd mainland-Ikoyi-VI/Lekki/Ajah, back and forth.

Can we have a consortium for this..... just like people come together, to fund estates?

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/ambode-plans-construction-of-10-lane-lagos-ijebu-ode-expressway/

According to Governor Ambode:

We must start thinking of the future concerning that road. We said we will have an International Airport in Epe and an Export Processing Zone in Lekki and a Deep Seaport also in Lekki … We missed something between Oshodi and Murtala Mohammed International Airport, there is no fast track rail that can take goods straight to the Airport . Should we also miss that here? Those are the issues that we are looking at,” the governor stated.
Brilliant!
Thats what l call foresight!!

Each time l pass through that Airport road and compare it to what l am used to at other international airports, l just feel like cursing our leaders!
I always wonder whether they close their eyes as they travel around the world ....... or they are just incapable of doing anything right.

But until the day they decide to build the 4th mainland bridge (and l think the current APC "State and Federal" Collabo at this point should be able to pull it off )....... until then, the nightmare that is the Lekki Express Road might not be solved because you cant have a ten-lane highway pouring into that "glorified" 4-lane Lekki express road.
The new, improved Ikorodu Road is a case in-point. Ketu/Mile 12 axis is causing a lot of grief for that road.

I'm no hypocrite; I judge and treat people using the same standard I will love them to do me.
A lot of people expect to "eat their Cake,.... and still have it"!

Life is never like that.

Women especially, Married Women in particular, know what it means, to cheat on their Husband!
Those who do it know it is NEVER a MISTAKE..... and so does not even warrant a forgiveness!
But they just want to do it and still retain the ability to remain in marriage to their husband!

So, they are using the "equality treatment" as an EXCUSE to achieve their aim.
Its that simple!

Whether a Woman forgives her cheating husband, is in itself a matter of "her personal choice" and she should not be vilified for refusing to forgive him...........

but in the Nigerian setting, most women know that "not to forgive" him is not enough punishment....until that "Women's Bill" which can allow them to throw him out of the family Home (as done in Western Countries) is passed into Law.

So, the best option most decide to chose for now, is that they also should be forgiven and allowed to do it without consequence! grin grin

See How the WOMAN in Diezani Alison-Madueke Was Portrayed by a Nigerian Fan!!! He says, "What two men cannot do; one woman did it, put extra"!

I have always said and hold it strongly that the Nigerian female is far far far more intelligent and stronger than their male counterparts. Look at the cut off marks for schools. Despite relegation of females in our society, the cut of mark for females is either higher or the same as that for the males in most states.
Now compare how our females win the females nations cup and compare how our men cannot even qualify.
Then we do not have male equivalents of Blessing Okagbare. All individual medals at the Olympics, I believe the women have given them to us save for a few
Then look at the world bank. I believe we have over 3 females who have risen to that enviable position. The men, despite all the push, very few are rated in that top organization.
Yes I heard Senate and all refused to consider women the equal of men. But me I remember well all my many many many female classmates who are so so so much more intelligent than I am and I have no shame at all in saying I DO NOT BELIEVE THE NIGERIAN MALE HAVE ANY ADVANTAGE OVER THE NIGERIAN FEMALE. My papa know book, my mama know book. My cousins know book. So nothing you want tell me about woman wey I never use my eye see.
Finally, Dieziani know book pass Kachikwu and Buhari put together. Check the score board or rather fuel queues. or maybe na Buhari head dey draw Kachikwu go backhuh? Maybe Dieziani was allowed to do what she knows and bring fuel while Buhari is a BULL in a China shop (use of the cattle/bovine imagery BULL intended)
Bull in a China shop hahahahaha. Sometimes I impress myself. Bull in a China shop. I heard he is going to China on wednesday and he may go to a shop. how apt. hahahahaha
Dieziani, our most beautiful. God punish cancer.

No wonder she has to "photo-shop" herself as having cancer..... while running away from Justice!

Its also sad that she is using the same looted funds for this kind of Propaganda, with the same Victims playing the orchestra! undecided

As for the #Wailing-IPADs, theirs is a "mistake of creation"! grin grin

The can as well blame Buhari for the lack of rain and the heat!

It is what I have done before, so I'm not just saying it.

people are yet to grasp the meaning and power if love. It is only in love that you can truly win or conquer.

Personally, I think the only reason that will stop couples cheating on each other is their love for God and themselves.

Anytime such love is demonstrated, the outcome is victory and peace.
"Mugun" raised to power 3! grin grin
The day you will realize your folly that "the act is still on-going", you'll probably have a heart attack! grin grin grin

Even God Himself (in his mercies) ...draws a "red line" which no one must cross ....else there is No Forgiveness!
That red line is "Blaspheming the Holy Spirit".
Go and read your Bible to find out.

How much more an ordinary humanbeing?

Look, l can only ask you to "keep it up"! undecided undecided

One old man told me a story. He said in those days, they marry a lot of women because of their farms and they knew they can't satisfy all of them especially the young ones. He said that anytime they are coming from a journey or from wherever, they'll be shouting the names of their wives from afar..... Iya lagbaja!!!, iye Bose etc so that the wives will know that they are around and quickly discharge whoever is with them be it a man friend. He said what u don't see cannot kill u. And it is wrong for you to catch her wen u know u cannot satisfy her. Today we have one minute men who'll say they won't forgive, we have men who leave wives for years abroad saying they won't forgive. I know something for sure, it is not easy, but forgiveness is a command, without which you will not be forgiven either......

Abeg, tell that "old man' to stop deceiving you!

Is it not the same "Old Man" that laced his wife with "MAGUN".... with so many variations such that for some variations, she and he man that climbed her in his absence, will die a disgraceful death?
Or you think "Magun" is a myth?

The only reason l can see for them 'calling-out' is to inform their wives that "The Roster" begins immediately so that everyone can face their duties without any excuse ..... like: "I did not know you are back naah"!

Its actually the thing sthat you dont see, tht kill you so quickly that "You dont see it coming"! grin grin

Again, the Men of those days ensured that their females are circumcised...... to reduce the level of libido, to a manageable level!
Not now that "White people" have been able to convince us through "threats of criminalization", to forgo it and most females are like "a donkey on steroid and Vi@gra combined! shocked shocked
Even five men cannot satisfy some women in this generation! God help you if you marry one like that!
Na "on-top" you go shorten your life-span, just trying to satisfy her!

If for any reason my wife cheated on me i will forgive her and warn her not to try it again that if she does she is leaving my house. In african of which i know a man is covered by law when he cheat at his wife. Eg my wife can't send me out of the house for cheating on her, but i can as the man. The fact is we all *man n woman* cheat, is only when you are caught that you are a cheat.
Just wait till that "Women's Bill" they couched as "protecting girl child" is passed into law! grin grin grin undecided undecided

Go and ask those in the Western World we are trying to copy.....

....She will cheat on you, on you rown bed and once she calls the Police, they will send you out of the house..... and put a cordon of 5Km in-place for you!
If you enter inside that area of 5Km from the house, you go straight to JAIL, no questions asked!
shocked shocked undecided undecided

Just wait till we are able to "successfully trick Men into supporting us".... into passing that Bill into Law. wink wink

You go soon hear-am! grin

Men on this thread are not smilling at all...u guys are wicked ...as a married woman, can't even stand d thought of undressing myself in front of another man...well, mayb because I'm a possessive lover...I must confess any woman dat cheats, doesn't fear God& does not love d man
No, its because you respect yourself (your body) and your marriage vows.
It is out of this "self-respect", that Love for your husband comes in.

Pause and reflect on this for a minute. undecided

People like you give hope to the marriage institution.
Respects!
