the child dies or better still I'll go and steal.. Is she a sex worker?? Its forbidden from my town to see a woman sleep outside marriage no matter the cost..
Even at that, did she ask her husband's "opinion and permission" ...to exchange her body, for shex, in other to save their child?

I guess the husband should be given 'a say' in such events that affect both of them critically.

Except maybe the wife and the man have been "coochy-cooching" behind the husband's back, even before the child/family needs such financial help! grin grin

If I hadn't seen anything, I would have agreed fully with you

Women CHEAT. It may not be as high as men but they cheat.

I see you are a married man, you must really have high morals if not you would know that married women cheat!
If this is supposed to be "sarcasm", you did a very bad job at it! grin

I never said men dont cheat..... infact, men have a preponderance to,...and do cheat more, than women!
.... because to men, cheating is just an act of "conquest", emotions are not deeply invested.
They just do it .....like they "speed" on the Motorway!

What l tried to do is point out the difference between " Men cheating" Vs. "Women Cheating".

Women cheating goes beyond the "physical act" of "Wam-bang, get-up and go"!

Have you ever wondered why "men dont remember" the lady that deflowered them.... shocked shocked

.....while Women keep such memory for the rest of their life angry (even having a soft spot for the man for the rest of their life, whether both are married or not)? grin grin

Its got to do with "emotions and the brain". undecided undecided

Abeggi, no dey quote Bible. I find it amusing how quickly we are to quote the scriptures as an inference to how we should or would react to certain situations such as this.

When the reverse is what we would do should the situation present itself.

We just like to quote bible, even quote the bible as to why the chicken crossed the road!
Women will quote the Bible ......if it supports the husband forgiving them when caught cheating
...... but will quickly toss the Bible aside and not quote it, where it says "Men are the head of the woman" or where it says "God created them Differently, Male and Female, he created them...!

Then, it will be 'equality and feminism'!

forgive
Go check properly..... any man that "forgives such"....... has something holding him back at the moment (It could be religious standing, fear of an open scandal, finances, secrets in the wife's hands, papers for those relying on her for citizenship somewhere, impotency on his part, bidding his time for revenge grin , e.t.c ).

It is just not in the nature of a husband, to forgive a cheating wife...... the best he could do is to 'ask her to leave', without any rancour!

The very "nature of Love" a man has for his wife, makes it impossible for him to forgive such acts.

If you are a woman and your husband claims to have forgiven you when caught cheating on him, l beg you to "find your way" ASAP...... it may portend danger!
Some men are very crafty in their "planning for revenge". undecided

AreaFada2:
When a woman cheats, her man's life is in danger.

Men can casually cheat, no emotion involved. Just a mechanical process. cheesy

But MOST women get emotionally attached.
The guy they cheat with can brainwash her to kill you. Or her lover can even organise killing you.
Both can then take your properties or just to remove you as an obstacle.

Also women cheating I'm marriage could mean your kids are not biologically yours. Like 30% of all kids by the way.
This is very true....... but women dont want to accept it, just as they dont want to accept that "men and women" though complimentary in nature, are DIFFERENT and therefore NOT EQUAL (two different things cant ever be equal!).
I am not saying Men are "superior", mind you, l am saying they are "different" from women.

X chromosome is not the same as Y chromosome otherwise, X will be equal to Y! undecided

We just need to observe other living things (especially primates closer to the human race) and see the territorial behaviour of the male, compared to the female.

The physiological make-up of women determines how they engage in 'shex', for maximum pleasure while that of men also determine theirs as well.
Even Scientist have factually demonstrated that it is a different part of the brain that gets triggered in men when they get the urge, compared to women.
There is a reason creation 'recessed' women's shexual organ while that of men is "protruding"!
Women take shex more seriously than men! To them, it is an "act of total submission to domination" and a lot of emotion is invested in reaching such decision.
For a man, it is an "act of domination and conquer" ...... and like al conquest, it is the "next challenge" that matters! No emotion involved!
One party (woman) accepts fluid inside her .....while the other (man) is protected from such violation, by the make-up of his organs, which are external and not receptive to accepting any fluid!
Everyone should think about these things for a moment
All these "facts of life" are not mere coincidences.

Once you are sure your wife is cheating, your best action is to "quietly leave her" for her lover........ if you still love your own life.
.

Dont even attempt to keep sleeping with her anymore.
Just "dash her out" to that person she thinks she loves and engages in shex with, more than you.
Dont get annoyed, dont get dismayed but take it as a challenge that some-how, some-where, you are still found 'wanting'!

Just take time and work on yourself!
But "woe betide that Man" whose wife cheats when he was still "wanting"...... and takes her back when he has stepped-up in life.
There are tens of other women, who are "more set" than her and would eagerly marry you, so what's the big deal?

As for the kids, l think a time will come when at every birth, a DNA TEST will be a pre-requisite for putting a name on a birth cert.
We are getting there..... slowly though.

The person she cheated-with, has NOTHING to do with You!

Except in a situation of "forced intimacy", your wife gave him the go-ahead!

There is a Yoruba proverb that says "T'ogiri oba'lanu, alangba ko le ri aye wo'obe".

Translate literally for our non-Yorubas: "If the Wall does not open-up, the lizard will certainly not be able to creep inside".

So, fi your spouse plotted, arraigned and deceived you ...and went to secretly meet another lover, did not shout for help and then "opened-up" and moaned all day at the pleasure she is receiving from such Man ...... and you still think the mna is at fault and want to kill him for obliging her?

C'mmon, only weak and jealous men do that.
Just accept your fate that your wife considers you "a lesser man" than the man whom she cheated with.

Infact, l will rather congratulate the Man and ask him for "advice" on how to become better in future.

As for the woman, l will just advice her to make sure she stays far away from me.

Next time she sets her eyes on me, l should be in a position that ensures she regrets her actions and lives in regret all her life.

Family › Re: I Feel so Angry With My Husband. Help! by lastpage: 11:17am On Apr 04, 2016
Tekevwe:
I got married to my husband a some months ago. Before we got married we dated for a while and my husband was the smiling type, though I noticed he bones a lot with his siblings.

Our courtship was great. He used to give me practically everything I wanted (affection and care) even before I asked. He showered me with so much love that I thought I was dreaming. I saw some other qualities in him and felt he would make a great husband.

The first week of our marriage, my husband changed, started boning round the house and withdrew into himself. His office rent was due that month so I felt that was cause and let him be. Several months down the line and things re d same or even worse. He gets home boning, eats and goes straight to bed. If I try gisting with him he answers in monosylables and you can see the disinterest on his face.

The only time he smiles at home is when he wants to be intimate. That's the only time he's soft with me now and the only time I feel connected to him. I asked him if I offended him in any way and he says no, that the pressure of providing for a new family is getting to him.

I didn't play hard to get cos I don't believe in such so I don't know why the change.

There are some other qualities I discovered in him that I never saw while we were dating. I jokingly told him he has changed and that day he smiled and said he had to give me all I wanted cos he didn't want to lose me since I'm a pretty girl. Now that we re married its like he can't be bothered with trying anymore.

Also deep down I don't tink he loves me and feel he just married me cos he isn't so young anymore (almost 40)
and he's parents were mounting pressure on him. He's snappy with me now which never used to happen.

He also has a wall built around him that I can't seem to penetrate. I feel so depressed each time I'm home, being married to a man I feel no connection to.

I don't know if this is what marriage entails. If it is, then please, married folks should hint me so I can adjust my mindset to this new change.

Also, what can I do to break through and get through to him?
My take:

1.) He has given you a reason for his "bad mood" - Pressure of catering for the family! Now, different men (and women too), manage PRESSURE in different ways. Some can soak it up while others have it written all over their face! undecided Your husband belongs to the latter category.

2.) Courting and Marriage are two opposite sides of the same coin. Men change after Marriage..... just as my own wife "changed' after Marriage! shocked
But it does not mean the LOVE is gone....... it just means it is "adapting" to a changing scenario.

3.) Live is not all about "Roses"..... there are "Thorns" as well, even in a beautifully perfumed flower.
See "Life" as NEPA! Yes, the proverbial NEPA which they call PHCN nowadays! grin
Like Fela Anikulapo sang in one of his albums, regarding Nepa: "Sometimes, e go bright-much..... then e go bright-small.."

4.) Marriage..... and 'remaining married'.... means being able to "ADAPT" to another person........... a person whose "character and values" have been long-formed, before you even knew them! Think about that statement for a minute. undecided

5.) Love confuses things, it is good for courtship...... but cannot be extended to Marriage, using the same standards.
Marriage is REALITY! .... but Love makes that "reality", more manageable!

6.) Finally, like everything in Life, "There are "Ups' ...and "Downs". It comes and goes".
Marriage is Sweet but there are "human-interaction" challenges, which is what yo are experiencing now. It will go away after sometime, if you manage it properly, by "not blowing it" with this your "I feel so angry with my husband" attitude.

7.) Dont forget that the "economic climate' is also harsher on some people, than others. This may be his trying times and all you need do is show "support"..... morally, emotionally and financially

Just Relax...and help him relax too! Humans are like NEPA!
He wil get over it but the best you can do, to make that getting-over, "quick enough" .... is not to aggravate matter and understand that it is just a phase, that will pass with time.

Have you ever wondered-why that close to 50% of marriages fail within the first 12 Months, about 60% within the first 2 years and about 75% fail within the first 5 Years ......... but most Marriages than can survive the first five years, end up being together for Life!

I am happy that he is able to "relax" when he wants to be intimate with you ...... because it tells me that "His state of mind" is not caused by extra-marital relationship outside the marriage. So, you have nothing to worry about..... except your own "reaction".

Just SMILE at him when he comes in .... then when he looks at you with "curiosity" as to why you have just Smiling at him, then frown your face at him and ask him which one he likes better! grin grin
If he says he likes the Smile better, jokingly remind him that you are stressed but even at that, you will stil continue to smile at him and that "you hope he will return the favour"..... even when he is stressed too! undecided undecided

Trust me, he will think about that statement, in his own quiet time, .... if you say it without any show of anger.

It will be well with your marriage, IJN.

Married about twenty years and counting!

We've been married for a year now and blessed with a pretty daughter. My wife feels little or no urge to be intimate. Its been more than a month now since I had s*x. Reason being that, am angry inside of me that she is always not in the mood, so I decided to hold myself and see when she'll realize it that am angry about it and do the needful. But it seems like am just suffering my self grin grin because she seems not to realize she needs to do something fast. I am feeling like cheating on her as a way to punish her maybe she'll realize it that she needs to satisfy her husband to keep him away from other ladies outside. I urgently need advice from married nairalanders... Is the situation d same or similar in ur marriage, and how do I resolve this differences . Am really disturbed
Two things may be responsible:

1.) She is having it elsewhere and therefore not "missing" it from you

2.) It is a Hormonal Problem (early onset of Menopause!).

Short jab in the neck might let you know: Tell her you will have no choice than to seek "gratification" outside with another woman, if your own wife refuses to see it as her duty. (Watch her facial expressions very closely, it will tell you more than she will say with her mouth

Tell her in plain, simple, in-your-face manner.... so that it can hit her and she can realize "WhatzUp".

*If she is getting it outside, she will simply insult you, dare you to try it and turn it to a fight (at that point, your marriage is dead! and you need to start thinking about your "options"wink
*If it is hormonal and she is just "not feeling it", she will "break-down" and plead with you to understand her "problem". (At that point, you need to stand solidly with her and seek medical help)
.

BTW: how long was the birth..... before than one month of "fasting"? huh
Could it be her body is not ready, if its still very close to child-birth?

My sympathies.

There are certain things you dont do in marriage.
Threatening to divorce is one of them, if you dont intend to do it or are not ready to do it.

It will always be on the mind of the other spouse and they will always feel INSECURE!
How some interpret that "state of insecurity" depends on the individual.

*Some would immediately put "Plan B" into operation because they dont want to be caught unawares (which might be your own case).
*Some would actually just marry another wife/husband .....and call your bluff.

Family › Re: Was I Wrong Opening Up To My Husband? by lastpage: 6:31am On Apr 01, 2016
ceaser:
Now this problem is multifactorial. I don't know for how long you both have been married that you have issues with conception.

Rom your post history, it is apparent that this man does not love you deeply as you love him. For him to try to call off the engagement 4 years into your relationship speaks volume of his "love" for you. But perhaps pleas from several sources including those he wouldn't say no to made him to reluctantly go ahead with the union (remember his heart and mind were already not with yours ever since he threatened to bail out on the engagement). Perhaps he had even met his mistress ever since then. That mistress may be diabolical, she may not be.

Fast forward to now. Some decisions he may have taken, and definitely with the connivance or advice of his mistress is as follows:

*Even if forced into the marriage because he couldn't refuse pleas from some people he held in high esteem, he can however FRUSTRATE you outta the marriage.

*When it became apparent that that may not work because you kept entertaining his excesses and misdeeds without complain (you admitted that you "fight" a lot), the next plan is to bring up trumped up charges and then hinge a divorce on that reason.

You did not err by telling your better half your secrets, but I think he simply needed the flimsiest of excuses to justify his plan to bail out on you so as to have his mistress move in as full housewife.

Please note that your poor chances at conception may not exactly be due to an anatomic or physiologic problem with you. It may actually be due to the frequency of your sexual exposure to your husband. Medically, a couple is said to have the problem of infertility (primary or secondary) if there is no conception after a year of ADEQUATE sexual exposure; adequate in this instance means on the average 3 times in a week.

But what manner of sexual intimacy and exposure do you think you can get from a husband who apparently has no love for you and whose sexual energy is channelled to his mistress outside instead?

The last but not the least. Have you ever conceived before in which case yours will be secondary infertility? Was the conception your husband's and then you had to tell him and he suggested the choice of a voluntary TOP (termination of pregnancy) to you and which you obliged? If this happened while you were dating him or anyone else, being privy to such information may have given him the erroneous conviction that your inability to conceive was due to the procedure that may have "destroyed the womb".

A made up mind like your husband's may be a difficult thing to change. You need to get your medicals to confirm the problem of infertility isn't yours (actually men are responsible for a sizeable percentage of infertility amongst couple but traditionally, the blame is always on the woman). And while you are at the medicals, equally endeavour to get screened for Lenteviral, Hepatitis and other STIs. Your husband has been unfaithful. You need to know your status.
Most of the things you wrote are good but l want to take exception tot he bolded!

There is a Cliche which translates to "Even a singe time, can result in pregnancy"! grin grin

Her husband has only one Mistress and you want to attribute her non-conception to "lack of energy and adequate exposure"?
May l ask, how do the wives of those that FOUR WIVES at home conceive?
Where did the "energy and adequate exposure" of those ones come from..... with all the battalion of children the "one man" sirs with all of them? huh shocked shocked shocked

See, having children is not a function of how many times you are intimate because all it needs is just one, out of a hundred thousand spe#rm and one intercourse.
But like you said, "Stress, previous D&C or miscarriage, fibroid, watery and low-spm count, e.t.c are all possibilities.
I know someone who has been trying to conceive for the last seven years, after a miscarriage, living under the same roof with the husband, with no "side-chick"! Only God knows how much they wasted, how many tests and drugs, e.t.c.

They eventually gave-up and settled to do an "in-vitro" in future....

She just conceived last December!....... when she list expected it! How about that?

If there are no known "internal ailments", God will do it when he will do it.

Of which I told her I can't do such. Now he uses it against me. I feel bad because he didn't even say what I told him exactly. He changed the story. He lied about it.

My husband goes about telling everyone i am diabolic because I jokingly told him that he should be grateful I don't have a wicked heart if not I will use magun to catch him and his mistress. Which he even replied that he knows i dont have that mind. That i am still a child.
this was said around march of 2015

Fastward to November he started asking for a divorce because he of his mistress he met online. Telling both his colleagues and family members that I am diabolic which is not true. I feel bad because this same man have also confided in me telling me things about his boss and others. We are currently separated

I just regret everything. I regret confinding in him and opening up to him. With pleas from everywhere, he is still insisting on divorce.
There is more to your story that what you shared!
Trust me, l know a "one-sided story" when l hear one.

You need to get to the root of WHY your husband wants a divorce.......... and let "elders with sense" intervene on it.
That he is philandering does not mean he would throw-away his family!
"FAMILY" trumps every other thing, especially where it has produced child/ren.

He is not leaving you because of his Mistress, he is leaving you because he wants to leave you! Mistress or not, he will still do what he is doing now, for reasons which you and him are yet to let us know.

The earlier the better you narrow down on the reason (and stop this moral-grandstanding), the better good people can come to you people's aid so that it can be resolved!

As for being diabolic, he might just have seen issues that convince him that what you told him was just a "tip of the iceberg", meant to disarm him and make him feel safe! It appears he does not see it as "You confiding in him"

Believe me, some men are not fools and cant be easily fooled.

If you still love him, then you need to ask him "one-on-one": What DO WE need to do, to save this marriage?

Hopefully, he will open-up and both of you can HONESTLY work at it .....to make it work.

You're a sad, miserable, GULLIBLE ILLITERATE!

Nigeria has been exporting beans to Europe for 20 years now. But it was blacklisted on in June last year for its high concentration of pesticides. The ban was only lifted this year after NAFDAC got down to it.
Majority of you Sai Baba supporters are the most naive, MENTALLY LAZY and INTELLECTUALLY DEAD creatures I've ever seen.

This country will never progess with gullible knuckleheads like you constituting the majority.

The ban has NOT been lifted yet!

They are hoping to get it lifted.
Just so we get it clear. undecided undecided

Which one 9ger go chop since our Agricultural sector is performing poorly .....
The danger here is that most of the beans we produce will now be "exported" while the people in Nigeria will have non to eat! ..or buy it at very expensive rates!
Who no won chop "Euro"? grin grin

Na so dem do with Garri, wey the thing come cost so much!
The QUALITY of Garri l eat whenever l am outside the country (US/Europe in general) is far better than what we get to buy in Nigeria so much so that at one point, l had to buy Garri when l was coming back to Nigeria!

Oga i will advice yu get sense at times

A country investing in another country means they are going to make 50 times that amount back...
See for example, Shoprite, DSTV, all the indian and lebanese firms in Nigeria.. They just come and make thier money and go back.
The best form of investment is manpower development.

Why cant America advocate we should come and learn how it is done for free... that is d real investment

As for me, Americans has never been a blessing to any country they invest in, they will rip us off, just watch and see

Dullard Buhamalu - APC _ deceiving Nigerians since 1999
DUllard GEJ - PDP- Preying on our nation since 1999

We need a total reset in the country...

Peace out

Your IGNORANCE is so high it defies any form of "Education".....
So l wont even bother to let you know that the host country also benefits from such investments!

As we're celebrating the Orubebelization of Nigerian politics, let's us remember that it took the courage of a man to save this country of avoidable bloodshed. Jonathan may not be perfect just like you and I, he may have his shortcomings just like every mortal, but on this very day, the prayers of Nigerians were answered by God through him. Let's face the truth, were Jonathan one of our die-hard politicians, what is happening now in Syria would be a child play compared to what could have been in Nigeria.

That is why I believe that President Buhari always acknowledged this fact of Jonathan's patriotism anywhere he had the opportunity. To me, on this day of the historical phone call, a new Jonathan was born. No matter what, he would be remembered for this particular feat in African politics for a very long time. The moral of the story is that Jonathan believes in Nigeria and stand up for her when she needed him most. What about you? Do you believe in one Nigeria? Check your conscience my pal.

Cheerio!
Stop selling this #bullshyt!

Jonathan had no choice than to hand-over..... He lost the election!
He was FORCED to make the Phone-Call; Even "pig-he@ded" Patience had to be removed to another room as she was pushing the "weak-man" not to agree!

But l give him Credit for being "Smart", unlike Laurent Gbagbo...... he chose not to spend the rest of his life in an ICC prison!

FREEDOM.........is PRICELESS

That what happens when you handover your Governorship office to a Cult-Leader!

This one don pass one chance!

But seriously, President Buhari is the "C-in-C of this country and the buck stops at his table.
He cant just fold his hand and watch Nigerians in Rivers State being killed like Rabbits?

He still has the power to declare a State of Emergency and let Soldiers ENFORCE PEACE in that state.

The Police as we all know, have been compromised since the days when that mad AIG Mbu was unleashed on them in Rivers.
