Remi Tinubu should not be in the office. She's occupying, for now, the position of first lady; she's not a member of his staff. This picture shows she wants to be a cabal player.
Do you know the first lady is the most powerful person not the Chief of Staff? There are somethings she can make him undo and do

Mastering the art of management is a dynamic and continuous process that requires a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience. Here are some essential steps to help you excel in management:

🎯Set Clear Goals: Begin by defining clear and measurable goals for yourself and your team. Align these goals with the organization's objectives to ensure a unified focus and direction.

🎯Effective Communication: Communication is the backbone of successful management. Develop strong communication skills to articulate your expectations, provide feedback, and foster a culture of open dialogue within your team.

🎯Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with your team members based on trust, respect, and empathy. Understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and motivations will help you inspire and empower them to reach their full potential.

🎯Delegate and Empower: Learn to delegate tasks effectively by assigning responsibilities based on individual strengths. Empower your team members with the authority and autonomy they need to take ownership of their work and excel.

🎯Leadership goes beyond management. Invest in developing leadership skills that inspire and motivate others. Lead by example, demonstrate integrity, and be adaptable to navigate through challenges.

🎯Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, industry insights, and best practices in management. Attend workshops, read books, and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

🎯Adapt to Change: Embrace change and be flexible in your approach. The business landscape is constantly evolving, and successful managers are agile and adaptable in navigating through change.

🎯Seek Feedback and Reflect: Regularly seek feedback from your team, peers, and superiors. Reflect on your performance, identify areas for improvement, and actively work on honing your management skills.

You've heard the saying: there's nothing more powerful than an idea that has come at the right time. That is true and the best time to act on any idea is when it is steaming hot and when you have the right amount of motivation. The only issue here is that a good number of us are always seeking validation and approval. We feel powerless, we ask tens of people their opinions about the ideas they did not receive and they dampen your spirit and motivation.

By all means, consult with people before making critical decisions but be guided. Make sure you are speaking with those that check the boxes: not those that will project their insecurities and failure onto you. Never check in with someone out of fear of being blamed if something goes wrong. Those who must be praised should also be ready to be blamed.

I hope you take action today and I hope you lose that fear.

Ps: Information regarding our mentoring events and free resources will be shared in our private and listed group - The Mentee's Hub. See link in the first post: Please make sure you join the group to enjoy the maximum mentoring experience.

Always eager to prove to the politicians that they lack self worth. Reminds me of how Sanwolu, on official outing, passed and threw some cash to some youths at a section where the road was an eye sore. Same youths could have used the opportunity to display placards to send him a message on the urgent need to fix the road but they missed it for peanuts that wont make any difference in their lives. While some are ready for the change we crave, many still lag far behind.

Jobs/VacanciesWhat Not To Say At Interviews- Be Circumspect With Information. by lavylilly(op): 7:09pm On May 29, 2023
What not to Say at Interviews- Be Circumspect with Information.

We interviewed a guy for a role, he was suitable, qualifications and experience good enough. Remuneration fantastic and expected quality of life would improve significantly after a loss of job for over 2 years.

One of only two candidates as it was an urgent need and recruitment process was less than 72 hours.

When the interview was about to be rounded off, we asked where he stayed to attend the interview, because he came upcountry, usually we could reimburse his expenses. His response was the snag; he started a long story, how he stayed in his friend’s house, who was out of town. The wife of his friend asked one of the children to vacate a room for him. At the middle of the night, the wife came over, requesting to sleep in the same room with him. According to him, he refused vehemently, saying he wouldn’t do such a thing.

We all looked at each other in bewilderment and shock, and that was it, we dropped his candidacy.

We concluded our trade secrets are not safe with this one, he can’t be trusted, he is not prudent with words and may have other character deficiencies.

When you go for any interview, a job or visa application, only respond to questions you are asked, never try to impress your interviewer with irrelevant information, it could end up determining your chances.

What do you think happened afterwards? He lost that job opportunity to “misyarn”.

👉🏽Be careful with information.
👉🏽Don’t lose guard of your environment.

Jobs/VacanciesQuiet Quitting by lavylilly(op): 5:59pm On May 29, 2023
Quiet-quitting.

Quiet-quitters have largely been discussed within the context of the workplace in the last year or so. However, there is a universe that we have observed at a more macro level in recent times.

Life’s happening to us all in many dimensions and the local plus global indicators of anxiety are many. Life’s really giving us all knocks on all sides: financial anxiety, burnout, quest for purpose, workplace mental health etc.

We win in some instance and we lose in others. However, our failure should be a sign of strength; we dared to try. If we have tried before and failed, we are clearly no longer on ground zero.

Rather than quiet-quit on life, we quietly must try again. Give that goal another shot. We miss 💯 of the shots we fail to take.

When your pole breaks, find a new one and give it another shot.

Don’t quit on life and life won’t quit on you.

Thank God it’s Monday! Time to try again.

Yeah, I get what you can but I think 60 days is too long time for a president to put his cabinet together. 4wks max is enough for any serious person to hit the road running. If not his entire cabinet he should be able to get the very sensitive positions occupied, the stress in our electoral process notwithstanding.
4wks it too much for me 5 days is enough because you should know what you want and how to get it done and if they are not performing as expected, FIRE them

omo I don taya to type plenty. Just know this,
1. I am no longer on the £1k per month job as it was a job I had to do to find my bearing immediately I got here and that lasted just 3 months.
2. In those 3 months, I was able to sort out all my expenses and send more than I ever could to my folks who at one point or the other needed help when in Nigeria on 230k per month.
3. I have my peace of mind and sanity in a country that works.
If you want to remain stagnant in one job that pays less than £300 a month, that’s fine so long as you’re content.
I started from £1k working less than 4hrs a day and I’ve gone up to another better job that pays over £2,500 a month with my expenses still being dsame meaning I now save over 1k per month. Whether in nige or in the UK, that is doing well financially. Thankfully, I don’t have family members that weigh me down.
What type of comment is this?

This has made many men miss their better half. My Elder brother had something similar to this, he got her pregnant and didn't deny the pregnancy. It was tough, rough and not so rosy till he had his break. His a generator mechanic, they are both outside the country. Don't lose that girl because you ain't got money.

So I went to see my gurl Hilda Baci to see what she got cooking. had to empty the bank akant just to bring yall this content. the place is alright, the AC is very strong, its small and cute.

The food prices? A bit on the high side for like swallow eaters like soup starts from 5000 naira. Just the soup alone without the meat and swallow. the rice i bought is 1500, the fish 2000 and malt is 400 for a total of 3900 naira. the food was straight up garbage. TAsted horrible. I could only stomach half of it till i abandoned the rest. I give it a solid 3 out of 10.

The positives are the AC is very cold and the malt was very cold. would i go back ? nope
it's cheap. Go further down into that Freedom way, you will scream.
